But he didn’t make it. The waves broke into the contents of the boat - destroying everything in its wake. The water surrounded him and black was all he saw.

However, he woke up on the shore - the sky a beautiful blue. He looked over to see you - a figure with just a tail for legs. He was rescued by a mermaid.

Sadly, I couldn’t get back the fanfics I wrote. Those took me two weeks at a time to write due to writers block.
