Phantom Lord duo

Here's a funny headcanon that just popped up in my head!

Since we all know Juvia is a fan of rock music, imagine if modern ( or magnolia universe, idk if they have concerts) au Juvia is a big fan of this Poplar rock band boys/girls which ever, and she goes to their concerts and buys tickets and marches and stuff, and Gajeel is also a big fan but he is less enthusiastic about it, I believe they go to concerts together.

And then Juvia has this bias who is so pretty, gorgeous and is a good singer, overall Juvia likes to see them a lot.

Once Gray hears about that and learns what interests Juvia ( because he wants to know what she likes) he is quite surprised because Juvia doesn't look like a rock band fan but hey I guess Gray was following those stereotypes, it was all good and fun until he sees her being completely a fan to this one band member and grows Jealous.

Because Juvia is getting excited over someone who isn't him for the first time and he sees it in live ( like she is watching a concert, or looking at their pictures)

"Gray-sama look! They waved at Juvia! THEY WAVED AT JUVIA!"

"I get it"

Although he gets jealous at first but once he sees her with that big goofy smile on her face, it melts away and he is just okay with it, as long as she is happy.

*sob* I want to write a fanfic about it but I have two undone ones...

How I Imagine Fairy Tail Would React to Levy's Pregnancy announcement:

1. NATSU

Natsu: Really?? You're laying an egg?? Whose.?? Is it mine? Ima name it igneel 😁

Gajeel: Can't you take a day off at being stupid? The baby is min-

Gray: Lemme get this straight, you, one of the smartest in fairy tail, is pregnant, and the father is Gajeel, the guy who pinned you to a tree and ambushed you in the dead of night?

Gray: (quietly) well I hope your child doesn't have the fathers brain

3. LUCY

Lucy: AHH OMG LEVY-CHAN! I am absolutely here to support you in the journey! I mean, I did hear rumors, but I didn't they were true!

Levy: Thanks Lulu! And uhm, could you be a godmother to our child?

Juvia: Gajeel told me. Who do you think bought your pregnancy test?

Levy: B-but, the test was 2 whole MONTHS ago!

Juvia: exactly! 😉

Levy: *sighs* well, Gajeel does want you to be a godmother along with Lucy..

would love to hear ur headcanons for the canon couples (Nalu, Gruvia, Jerza, Gajevy) as first time parents

Fun fact: I actually wrote a fic about them adopting children (well Jerza, Nalu, and Elfever) if anyone is interested in that :)

Nalu

Lucy is literally stressed out the whole time

Natsu is pretty chill but his protectiveness has tripled

Lucy is the strict parent and Natsu is the fun one, but he will back Lucy up when needed

Unfortunately because of his heightened senses, Natsu really struggles with the baby crying. It's way louder for him and even hurts when he's holding the baby (too close to the ears)

Natsu struggles to sleep too. One because of the baby waking him up, but also because he is super protective and wakes up multiple times a night just to check on the baby (Lucy also doesn't sleep through the night but Natsu more so)

Lucy cheats and summons her spirits to help look after the baby. It really helps the new parents get time to rest (and also her spirits love the little baby so its a win win)

While they take turns working, Lucy usually stays home more. She knows Natsu needs to get out all his energy and she has no problem being a stay at home mom (at least for a little bit)

Gruvia

Juvia is literally always crying. Everything the baby does causes Juvia to burst into tears

Gray is in love. He's literally always cooing over the baby

They fight over who has to be the strict parents because both of them wanna be the fun one. Usually Juvia ends up as the strict one

Gray worries so much about the baby that he spends most nights sleeping in the nursery. Juvia keeps a spare blanket and pillow in there now, just so he can be more comfortable

The entire house is covered in toys (and other baby things). It has completely taken over their lives

Neither of them wanna work because they want to spend as much time with their baby as possible (unfortunately they have to so they take turns and only take simple jobs)

Juvia knits cute little onesies for the baby. She makes little dolls too. The dolls match the onesies. Its adorable

Jerza

Erza is super prepared and can literally handle any baby issue (throw up, diaper, teething, etc). She's got everything

Jellal on the other hand is always panicking. The baby hiccups? He's freaking out about if he has to go to the ER

Erza bought so many clothes for the baby. She treats them like a little doll and is always playing dress up

They are both the strict parents. Not terribly but they raise their child to behave (tho both are known to give in to the puppy dog eyes)

Jellal cries a lot. He cried when he found out Erza was pregnant, cried when the baby was born, cried when they brought the baby home, etc (he never thought he'd have a life like this)

For the first couple months after the baby is born, Jellal tries to do as much as possible because he wants Erza to rest (she did do all the hard work for nine months so it's only fair that he steps up after birth)

Somehow their home is always clean and they both always look well rested (well Jellal has permanent eye bags but that's just his normal sleep depravation). No one knows how they are so put together with a newborn

Gajevy

Gajeel is that dad that is always talking about his baby. He's always showing pictures, will turn any conversation into a baby story, and in general cannot go five minutes without talking about his baby

Levy did so much research before the baby was born. She bought literally anything and everything the books recommended

Unfortunately that means when something happens that wasn't in the book, Levy panics

Gajeel also has issues with his heightened senses. Levy takes pity on him when it comes to diaper changes (Gajeel has thrown up from particularly foul ones)

Gajeel tried to do that thing where you make the baby listen to music in the moms stomach, but it was his singing. Levy would come up with every excuse in the book for this not to happen

He does sing to the baby now, but Levy finds it adorable and likes to listen (his voice is more suited for lullaby's)

Levy reads to the baby every night. Her book picks vary from actual kids books to textbooks but the baby doesn't know the difference anyway

I finished the Tartaros arc and I have feelings. I’m making these feelings other people’s problems.

Lucy never wanted to be alone or neglected. So as a kid she always summoned Aquarius to be her friend. Aquarius only convinced Lucy to summon the Celestial Spirit King by telling her that Lucy has friends to lean on. But in the end, Lucy was alone again. Natsu and Happy left and Makarov disbanded the guild.

Juvia effectively killed Grays father. She loves Gray so, so much and had to take away his only remaining family. But the most heartbreaking part for her is that she told him. She said that she doesn’t deserve to love him but yet still does. And he thanked her.

Gray met his dad. But he ended up leaving too. The hug will never not make me sob. Sometimes a father’s hug is all you need and Gray will never have another. He didn’t want to fight Silver, let alone kill him. But he had to for his new family, Fairy Tail.

Erza finally admitted to the Tower hurting her. She locks everything so far away that any raw emotions are confusing. I don’t think any of the Tower kids will ever heal.

Natsu. All he ever fought for was to see Igneel. He wanted to talk with him, show him that he learned to write, and cook, and is powerful. It is all Natsu wanted. But he never got it. Igneel was murdered in front of him and they never truly got to talk and ask questions and be a father son. Igneels parting words were to “Look to the future, where the power of life lies,” so Natsu did just that. Acnologia would probably attack again in the future, so Natsu left to become stronger and protect his remaining family.

Sorry for the rants, this arc is so heartbreaking and good. Don’t get me started on Believe in Myself.

every time i remember gruvia's double suicide i wonder how i'm not constantly talking about them rather than nalu. the emotional complexity between gray, the depressed guy who secretly thinks everyone hates him including himself, and juvia, the depressed girl who knows most people hates her (due to her past with phantom lord) but still manages to find the one who taught her to see the light in things - literally!! stopped her rain and all.

and then their beautiful progression where juvia proves her devotion, not only to her newfound love, but also to fairy tail as a guild - her newfound family. and gray slowly but surely has to face his past, in multiple ways, and slowly but surely juvia manages to chisel her way into his icey heart. and from that point there's some turmoil when juvia indirectly "kills" (releases) gray's father, her doubting her right to love him, gray telling her basically that if anyone were to do it, it had to be her, and that she freed his father rather than killed him.

and then the progression of acceptance - juvia staying strong and determined to keep loving the guy who never thought love was for him, and him slowly accepting her, even when he doubts his own power to protect her from any harm that could come their way

and then!! the horrific fate!!! them getting into a situation where they have to kill the other to get away from the situation alive, and juvia, who practically never stopped loving him, automatically wanting to sacrifice herself, knowing that gray, who might seem distant and cold, never could kill a guild mate. so she decides to take her own life, for his sake, but oh!! the plot twist!!! gray thought, like, the exact same thing! he only knew that juvia had to come out of this alive, but that there was no way she'd kill him, so he kills himself!! he can't imagine a future without her!

and then, after blacking out (thinking they're dead) gray wakes up, to his dismay, and he sees that juvia kept him alive, even as she herself was dying!!! so heartbreak and demon mode and he goes to kill natsu for being END and all that

but then the story progresses and they're both alive, and gray reluctantly admits that he wants juvia to himself, and then in the hyq we learn that he's working on himself to become a lad worthy of the love juvia has to offer, and that she's his will to live and his entire past present future and that they're rawdogging it in his dreams. kinda.

anyways i love them and i think i'll die, that's all, thanks for reading
