still the same, eh?
those weird intermittent conversations with my dad via gchat never really feel very different - it's always an awkward combination of broken record, feeling really out of touch, and heartbreak from the degree of naive childishness in his view of whether my mom still loves him or not. it's like i've told them both the real issue for over a decade and neither has ever internalized it and i might have well have been talking to brick walls the whole time.
in a way, it feels childish to not be able to handle it emotionally, always on the verge of tears when i talk to him, but on the other hand, it's probably accurate to say it's something i've never addressed enough to be "over it", if it's something people ever do get over.

OMG..earring pairs should be magnetic. -_-
Totally - but only to each other, like perfect earring soulmates!
On July 23, 1966, railroad engineer Don Wetzel and his colleagues from the now defunct New York Central Railroad attached two GE J-47-19 engines to the roof of a stock commuter car and sent their creation down a straight section of Ohio tracks. It reached speeds of 183 miles per hour, setting a U.S. rail speed record that still stands today.
Although the train was scrapped years ago, LEGO virtuoso Aleksander Stein immortalized it with the toy bricks and today, we have brought it to life again in a winter wonderland.
