Bachelor Challenge Day 1:  Meet the Contestants!

Cynthia: I am here in front of the beautiful Landgraab manor with the seven lovely ladies who will be vying for Malcolm’s affections this season!  

First up, we have the lovely Miss Charlotte Worthington.  Charlotte is the daughter of another very wealthy family, the Worthingtons.  Although her younger brother will inherit most of the family fortune, Charlotte has a decent amount coming to her one day as well,  and she’s making a career for herself too!  What is it you do again, Charlotte?

Charlotte:  I’m an intern at one of my parents’ companies.  I’m hoping to get a bit higher up in the business eventually, but this is a start.

Cynthia:  Oh, how interesting!  You and Malcolm can talk business!  Won’t that be cute? Do you think you guys have any other common ground?

Charlotte: I know what it’s like to come from a wealthy family and have a lot resting on your shoulders.  It can be hard.  I think we’ll understand each other’s problems.

Cynthia: Aww, cute!  I bet he’ll love having someone who understands what he’s going through. 

I think I was planning on doing more with Melody’s first year of college, but somehow I never did.  Melody grew up really pretty, but she’s just not all that interesting right now.  I had more fun watching the other sims in the dorm than I did playing Mel.  I think I meant to let her throw a party but I didn’t get to it...I’ll do that next time.

I think I’m having trouble connecting with Melody because I’ve played her family’s round without writing commentary, and so she never really developed a personality for me.  (It didn’t help either that I was focusing more on her parents than her.) Any suggestions for spicing things up next time we visit Melody?  Or for challenges she can do after college? (I’m kind of thinking she’ll start an ISBI challenge, but I’m open to other ideas.) 

Round 2 of Bluewater Challenge 2016 (now in 2017) is now officially over!  Woohoo!

Melody:  Hang on a sec, Cadence.  I’m gonna have to call you back.  There’s drama behind me!

Of course, having Castor and all his admirers as dormies means that this was bound to happen.  I don’t know who he flirted with to get Brittany mad at him.

if you were wondering, Melody isn’t all that interested in him.  They have one bolt.  That doesn’t mean nothing will happen, but on the other hand, I’m not sure Mel wants to get into the drama.
