Meet the Contestants

Cynthia: And last, but certainly not least, we have a very special guest. She’s a dear friend of mine and a great actress.  After years of playing the character on the show All My Sims, she’s officially changed her legal name to Bella Goth!  Hey Bella!

Bella:  Hey, Cynthia!  It’s so good to see you! 

Cynthia:  You too, sweetie.  Thanks so much for coming. 

Bella: Oh, well, when you called and offered me the chance to possibly marry Malcolm Landgraab IV, I just couldn’t say no!  I mean, there is a reason why I changed my name to Bella Goth.  She is my idol!  I’ve always wanted to be her!  And one thing Bella Goth did was marry into a wealthy family.  She married Mortimer, and that was what really propelled her into the spotlight.  I’m hoping marrying Malcolm will do the same thing for me.  

Cynthia:  I bet it could.  Do you think you and Malcolm will get along?

Bella:  Oh yes.  I get along with just about everybody, and Malcolm just seems so sweet and so nice.  I think we’ll be falling in love in no time.

Cynthia: Well I’m rooting for you.  I’m actually rooting for all the lovely girls we have here.  I just know one of you will be the perfect match for Malcolm!

Cynthia:  Next up, we have another heiress - Miss Holly Alto!  Lovely to meet you, Holly.

Holly: *shyly*  Hi.

Cynthia:  Holly actually is going to inherit her parents’ money one day.  Her folks are quite influential, but no one has really seen much of what Holly can do yet.  You just graduated from Academie le Tour, didn’t you, Holly?

Holly:  Yes.

Cynthia:  What are your plans?

Holly: Well, I wanted to go into art - be a painter, maybe, or open a gallery.  My parents wanted me to do this first, though.  So I guess I’m doing this.

Cynthia:  I bet you'll be able to get a gallery once you've got the weight of the Landgraab name and fortune behind you.  Malcolm's family has a thing for businesses.  Maybe you could get a chance to fulfill your dream!

Holly:  Maybe.  Excuse me. *walks off*

Cynthia:  Next is another entertainer, Miss Sharon Wirth!  Sharon is a dancer.

Sharon:  Well, I’m trying to be a dancer. I actually gave up a big audition to go for this instead, but I think it’s going to be worth it.

Cynthia:  Why’s that?

Sharon: Because of the man who is the prize!  He needs a little help with the eyebrows, but everything else - I will take that package right now! 

Cynthia:  Any reason you think you can win, Sharon?

Sharon:  *gestures at herself* Have you seen me?  I’m a hottie!  I’m also fast on my feet and smarter than the rest of these girls put together.  I guarantee I will make it to the finale or kick some other girls’ *bleep* on my way out the door! 

Cynthia:  *laughs*  Wow!  You sure are confident!  

Sharon: Damn right! *grins*

Day One:  Meet and Greet

Malcolm tries to get to know the ladies.  Nancy isn’t off to a great start...

Cynthia:  Next up we have Miss Nancy Bainbridge --

Nancy:  Nancy Landgraab. I'm Nancy Landgraab - or I will be, once I win this thing!  

Cynthia:  Goodness, someone's confident!  What makes you so sure you'll win?

Nancy:  Because Malcolm and I are destined to be together.  *tosses her hair* I have admired him for years and when I heard that he was back in Bluewater, I started making plans to come and see him -- we knew each other years ago in elementary school.  I live in the city, so it's a kind of a drive out here and my car's been in the shop.  I'd just gotten enough to get it fixed when I saw that horrible article in the paper!  Well, my heart just broke. But then I heard that you were putting this together for him, Cynthia, and I just knew my time had come!

Cynthia:  You certainly were eager to get your chance at the auditions!

Cut to a scene of Nancy pushing several other women out of the way to get to Cynthia, who is standing with a clipboard.

Nancy:  I know in my heart that I am the perfect woman for Malcolm Landgraab, and I will do everything I can to make him see that.  

Cynthia:  Well, I wish you the best of luck, Nancy.  It seems like you're not going to go out without a fight!  Good for you!
