Characters: While this is a Danganronpa ensemble fic, the main characters are Kiyotaka, Kazuichi, Gundam, Byakuya, Chihiro, Leon, and Mondo. Some OCs of mine appear but are not the main focus.

Ships: Main ships include Soudam, Ishileon, and Mondogami (though the latter relationship is not a healthy one)

Chapter 19 of "Hope's Peak Popular"...was posted a few days ago, but I figure it ought to be shared here still.

For those who don't yet know, "Hope's Peak Popular" is another fanfiction of mine, though this one is more dramatic and angry than my other works. It's an American High School AU that I originally made after watching a little series called "LPS Popular" way back before YouTube made a lot of changes. I'm not sure if the original series is still available to view, but this fic eventually became something of it's own.

Synopsis:

When Kiyotaka gets the news that his family is moving states, the first thing on his mind is the reunion he'll have with his old childhood friend, Byakuya. After his first day in a new school, he quickly learns a few new things.

Byakuya doesn't feel the same way.

The guy who used to be his best friend is now an incredibly rich and popular tyrant.

Finding a new friendship with a few outcasts, Kiyotaka could go through his high school life under Byakuya and his clique's reign...

...but where's the fun in that?

Why Purples are vital to a revolution and Marvus confirms it.

OOF, Marvus’s route was SOMETHING ELSE HUH?

First off I want to thank Andrew Hussie for putting me in his game. That was a fun experience though I think they didn’t really catch my likeness very mu- okay yeah this is a lame joke but let me enjoy having a troll with the same typing/speaking quirks as my okay? :( (I keep it like…on the downlow online so people can actually understand me and take me serious lol)

Now, I theorized he might not be ‘in’ clown church before or he might not be actually purple. The conclusion? WE STILL DON’T KNOW! WELP. They still didn’t reveal his sign either and at no point do we see blood or tears or….naaah this blog is slightly family friendly. We don’t know about the religious aspect either since it’s not brought up.

POLITICALLY THO, OOF. Okay now as you know I’ve been clammering for Marvus for litteral months because of my fear of what they might do with him, considering his last name. Once more for people in the back, Xoloto is juggalo slang for a fake fan trying to fit in regardless even if people know he’s fake. (Although that term fits Zebruh better now pfff) Marvus defines his last name by not just being ‘woke’ 

What Marvus does is confirm, in one big swoop, my whole headcanon about purple bloods. This headcanon was that they are all together QUITE powerful, both physically and uh…mentally?…is that the right word? Anyways, combine big, tall and muscular with those chuckle voodoos and that’s a lot of power! We don’t know much about Chuckle Voodoos either now with Karako’s explosive ability being a new thing and thus, stretching it’s definition beyond mind control  SO you can probably guess that this blood color is extremely powerful…perhaps a little too powerful?

Marvus fucking CONFIRMS that.

(Put in normal human tongue: Because the agents of the empress and she herself KNOW that the unimpeded strength of me and other purple bloods would easily unseat seadwellers as dominant caste) 

This right here? This CONFIRMS that purples are so fucking powerful that they could dethrone both violet and fuschia bloods. The only real obstacle they ever had might’ve been the whole gill thing. This is why thinking about their evolutionary history is so fascinating

SO HERE’S MY TAKE ON HOW THINGS WENT BASED ON WHAT MARVUS CONFIRMED FOR US.

What I believe happened, before the hemospectrum hierarchy was a thing, is that Purples were the most spiritual of the bunch and their connection to other planes is what gave them their mysterious abilities. Perhaps in the past they were peaceful. Chaotic, comedic and unpredictable, but peaceful. They didn’t kill, they didn’t want trouble. Perhaps some purples still know of those days and long for it. What took it away? Sea dwellers. As they started to form the system they appointed the purples below them, just inbetween the land and the sea. In return for their status of power they were still inclined to obey however. Perhaps if they didn’t, it would cost them their lives just like what happened to Lime Bloods. 

Thus, being forced to obey their lives got flooded with bloodlust and mental instability. With that came bad reputations, being feared by those below and being ridiculed by those above. (and sometimes, even below) 

This is a big deal too now that we know about The Dark Carnival being a thing on Alternia in an almost very real way. Chaotic as they are, Purples very well may be the most VITAL to a rebellion. And perhaps the only reason they haven’t yet, is because their figurehead urges them not to, because as unpredictable as GHB is, it’s confirmed he cares for others of his kind.

Because as we know, Clowns are a tight knit family.
