i wish i could write starking smut and do it justice?? as seen in postcards, i think everyone would assume Kingsley would be a bit of a prude and like my reputation, but i think what i like most is that he actually has no cares at all? like "oh I'm sorry, you're going to shame me for being intimate with the handsomest man on the planet??? okay???? get a hobby?" there's a bit in postcards that i threw in about steamy pictures of sirius and Kingsley being in the guest bath that one of their friends "took as a joke thinking Kingsley would lose his mind" and it was the exact opposite. (i also think its fun to think about sirius being a bit of a prude? like all posh and no we're not fucking on this rooftop until there's a sheet down or something).

everyone would be terrified of powercouple. but the joke of it all is that neither kingsley or sirius is going to do anything, and everyone is too afraid to even try? like-- okay mess with sirius, you're messing with one of the most powerful wizarding families out there AND potentially angering THE MINISTER OF MAGIC or you mess with THE MINISTER OF MAGIC and wait to see if it angers the head of the most noble and ancient house of black???? no ones trying anything (and if they did, both kingsley and sirius would find it funny. ((or they wouldn't and they BOTH would make this persons life miserable)))

What if the magic reveal was a rejection for Arthur?

! Let me explain;

What if, because of all these weird situations and thing Merlin did, Arthur thought Merlin was in love wit him?

Arthur, who has been in love with Merlin for a long time now, always thought Merlin acted weird and secretive because he wanted to hide the fact that he loved him. Like, why else would Merlin stay with Arthur? I mean, he was acting like a real bitch really mean with Merlin. Why would Merlin still put up with him, if he didn't love him? And now imagine this; Arthur spends years thinking he knows Merlin is in love with him, thinking/knowing whatever he did, Merlin loved him anyways. Always believing Merlin wouldn't leave him, thinking he was loved unconditionally, because, that's just what it looked like/felt like at this point.

Then Merlin confesses. "I was born to serve you" "I used my magic to protect you" "it's my destiny to make sure you live to be king"

Arthur's world is turning. The person he thought loved him regardless of all the things he did to push him away and ignore his feelings, regardless if all his wrongs, never actually loved him. Arthur realises he was wrong.

There was no love, only a mission, destiny. Merlin did all these things for him because of duty. Not love.

Maybe in a different situation Arthur would've confessed his love when he died. But not now. He spent years thinking those feeling were requited, just realises, while dying, it was Merlin just trying to fulfill his destiny.

In Arthur's head, a confession would've been stupid. He already knew the answer, didn't he? Merlin didn't do these things for love, he did it for destiny.

*not saying anything about Merlins feelings, that will be another post since I have a lot of feelings towards diamond of the day part 2
