TOH Characters Relationships with Rowan (my OC)

Eda - Mother/Daughter relationship since Rowan has lived with her for 4 years. Mid season 2, Eda officially adopted Rowan

King is basically her baby brother, she wants to protect him, but sometimes he ends up protecting her instead

Luz is like an annoying younger sister to Rowan. She gets Luz out of trouble when absolutely needed

Hunter is a protective older brother. That has always been how he is with her, since the two of them grew up together, until Rowan ran away and they didn’t see each other for four years, and even then Hunter was still protective

Willow is one of her good friends. She met Willow when Luz came home followed by Willow and Gus in I was a Teenage Abomination. Although Rowan declined the offer to be on the Flyer Derby team because of personal reasons, they are still good friends

Amity was originally someone who Rowan highly disliked because of how mean she was, but has basically accepted Amity as a part of her extended family now

Gus doesn’t have much of a relationship with her. They’ve talked a few times, finding a common interest in human culture. They may or may not watch human cartoons on a crystal ball sometimes.

Lilith was someone that Rowan tried to avoid at all costs, as the head of the Emperor’s Coven under Belos. But during season 2 their relationship grew into Lilith being someone that Rowan liked to hang out with, and Lilith being her aunt has her looking up to Lilith sometimes

Belos was a manipulative parental figure for so many years in Rowan’s life. She is absolutely terrified of him and is the reason she became so cautious 

I thought I would introduce my other TOH OC, Marley Lancaster. She studies oracle and illusion magic at Hexside, after the basilisk incident and is also going to be Rowan’s girlfriend. I love making OCs. If anyone has some ideas for some backstory for her, please leave it in the comments, I can’t really figure one out right now. 

I love all of these and needed to be able to find it easier! I agree with all of these, as a daughter of Apollo myself.

Apollo Kid Headcanons

we all love warmth, like cats

we lay on sidewalks during the summer because w a r m t h

when the sun hits our eyes, they become 10x more beautiful

it’s not uncommon to have the nickname ‘Sunny’ or ‘sunshine’

we get cold very easily

somehow our core is always really warm

we give the best hugs

usually theatre/choir/band/dance kids

preforming arts,,,

THEATRE WARMUPS

constant singing

in the morning, we’re awake before the other cabins

if we don’t all listen to music together, we usually have our headphones in

whoever is in the showers first gets to pick what we listen to

not all of us are always happy

in fact most of us suffer from some sort of mental illness

it’s not uncommon to have synesthesia

MUSICAL NIGHTS

we make friendship bracelets for each other

when artemis and hunters visit, apollo’s cabin and aphrodite’s cabin try to serenade them

the cabin is always chaotic

“I’m trying to study… can you PLEASE play your instruments somewhere else?”

“dad, please. this is the fourth time this week you’ve visited. we love you, but if you’re going to stay the night again you have to stay in the zeus cabin.”

we either can stand the sun for a long amount of time (no sunburns, either no tan or VERY tan)

or we get burnt to a CRISP

either awake right at sunrise or sleeping until 2 pm

most of us love holding hands and giving/receiving hugs

since our core is always warm, but we also get cold easy, it’s not unheard of to find 2+ apollo kids snuggling one another.

there are several night lights in the cabin, since most of us hate the dark

the infirmary is… so chaotic

since we have our dad’s gift of archery, we all have great aim.

we just…. throw medical supplies to one another from across the room.

we either have fantastic aim

most of the other campers find it calming, since we all harmonize naturally

our voices blend together naturally as well

we often wake the cabins directly to the left and right of us because of singing in the morning

we try to serenade them too,,,,, it usually doesn’t go well

PUPPY DOG EYES ARE CONSTANTLY USED TO GET WHAT WE WANT

it’s very hard to be in a bad mood around the apollo kids

especially when they tilt their head and smile

like c’mon our smiles light up a room

probably introverted, but if you get to know us we’re the life of the party

zones out easily

often caught staring directly into the sun

either gets sleepy right at sundown or is up until 6 am

either very tall or very short

the taller you are the closer you are to the sun

gets hot easy too,,,, we go back and forth between freezing and burning to death

everyone thinks we’re the purest beings on the planet but OHOHO are they wrong

*suggestive comment*

Willow Park. Willow is sweet, able to stand up for herself, and one of my top 10 fave cartoon characters. I just love her so much1

Piper McLean. I just like her. She is an independent queer woman.

Marella Redek. She has a fiery personality. Underneath her exterior she seems really sweet. (I’ve had this crush since August 2021)

Prince Callum. He’s sweet and loves art. Generally one of the kindest male characters I have ever liked.
