(despite the fact vida has no canon interest in nobility & house velaryon etc.) … vida coming to the full realisation later on in life that, had she been a true velaryon and not a bastard, she may have bonded with a dragon.     and the concept that she might have had even the smallest chance at that kind of bond with a dragon, experience that kind of fate, but never did … it keeps her awake some nights, wondering if that’s why she feels empty inside sometimes, with nothing truly taking awake the restless ache from her soul.

though regnarra is a fair-fair haired person, she isn't ever mistaken for lannister or targaryen. lannister blonde harkens to a brilliant gold, or warm brilliance in general. targaryen 'blonde' is a brilliant silver, close to platinum, with cool-toned brilliance as its feature. regnarra's hair, though pale + blonde, resembles a mix of pale beach sand, crystalised salt, and an ashen, washed-out white; like a mix of well-burned cinders. there is no brilliance to her hair; it, like her eye colour, is muted and understated; no part of regnarra is akin to a precious, flimsy metal; she crafted from earth and seas, of nature's base furies.

as she was raised with extremely little , essentially a cast-away child and indentured servant … she is a very thorough and self-taught seamstress and makes almost all of her own clothing from off-cuts , scrap fabrics and other recycled materials or linens she purchases secondhand.   thus , her current wardrobe is still often dark or natural & neutral colours , and any colours that are featured in her wardrobe are dyes specifically chosen to cover up any staining or blemishes.    she is frugal and careful with her spending , especially with her clothing as she has the skills to make what she needs.
