How To Study Like Elle Woods!

How to Study like Elle Woods!

How To Study Like Elle Woods!

Get inspired! We all know once Elle gets motivated or inspired she is driven, hardworking, and ambitious to get what she wants. Which then turned into discipline to keep going. So, if you’re ever tried and don’t want to study, do it tried. You need to have discipline to keep going!

2. Always be prepared! Before any big test, school year, class, always be prepared. Make sure you have all your stationery, books, tools before you start anything. Before a test ALWAYS study beforehand and pay attention in class for the correct understanding. Ask questions so you know if you do have a quiz, exam, or essay, that you are ready and understand.

3. Provide yourself with cute stationery! Getting cute stationery items will make learning more fun! Invest in pom pom pens, cute notebooks, a smooth writing pencil, or just anything that interests you.

4. Have your role models!

If you are ever doubting yourself or don’t have any discipline. It’s always great to have your fair share of role models. Role models can help us feel inspired, motivated, driven, and they are just great people overall to look up to. Elle Woods is a great example of a role model. She is smart, dedicated, hardworking, passionate, and enjoys her life. Make sure that your role models don’t influence you into bad things. Nobody wants to live a dreadful life knowing they wasted time doing what their “role model” did.

5. Trust yourself! A big trait about Elle that people might not notice is, that she trusts herself. She trusts herself that she will do wants right. She trusts herself that she will make it into Harvard Law School. Overall, trusts that whatever she does even, in doubt will be the best decision.

For my girlies that want to be really succesful and happy but have not figured out yet ie. Are yet to connect with their life's purpose and/or choose a career, here's the tip of the century: devote your time to learning a diverse group of practical, timeless and mostly widely applicable skills. Examples?

Language. Learning a parent language eg German or Spanish or Mandarin will never not come in handy. When you do figure out your career this skill will find a way to be applicable. Let's not forget the networking opportunities plus if there is a foreign aspect to it eg an office abroad guess who will make the list.

Dance or music. Mostly classical. This might not apply to your career if it's not in the arts but it connects you to your feminine creative side, is great for your mental health, brings a touch of sophistication to you, the health benefits and oh so impressive. Plus it's music sis. Music solves everything.

Crafts(wo)manship. We are talking knitting, pottery, crotchetting, couture, etc. One, hobby. Two, Etsy. Three, sophistication. Four, femininity. Five, you'll give the best gifts over Christmas, trust me.

Swimming, driving, flight, etc. I am 100% convinced swimming and driving are basic life skills. Will there ever be a day in your life when you'll regret that you can drive? Or swim? Unless you're angling for driver it might not contribute to your career but it will to your life.if you can get a flight license do that. If you can get a motorcycle license do just that. Even if it's a hot air balloon, do just that. You can not convince me swimming is not a life skill I am literally surprised by people that can't swim. Never been in a flood huh.

Social skills. The thing about social skills is that they are, drumroll, SKILLS. Skills are not inborn, they are learned and we live in the era of Robert Greene and Genie Sayles and Dale Carnegie and free online courses and if there is one set of skills that's the backbone of everything its this one. There is no time having social skills will not help. Not professionally. Not socially. Not even in your family. Or friends. Whatever your life purpose is, you will need social skills. Communication is the key to EVERYTHING.

"Health" related skills. I'm talking gut health, get a first aid certification, learn herbs and holistic methods and reiki and yoga and all that. Your wellbeing shouldn't even be a choice honestly. Is there one time being at prime health will Not come in handy? No. Till you figure stuff out learn the right foods, learn to heal your gut, learn quick first aid tips, learn how your body works, learn female reproductive health, learn evolutionary psychology- stack up on the health.if your community has traditional healing methods learn that. Especially those of us that want to be moms? You'll need this so bad.

Fashion, styling, beauty. Because we are women and let's be honest , it's much easier and better when you finally learn to style yourself and express yourself through your clothing & make up &c &c and do what's good for your skin and hair and- you get it. Is there a day you will not need to dress? No? There you go

Financial education. Now if I need to explain this to you please meet me out back I just wanna talk

You don't have to have the full picture to start investing in it

new year, new you: how to be your best self

New Year, New You: How To Be Your Best Self

every year, we say that we'll do this, we'll stop doing that, etc. but do we ever do it? no. and if we do, it's only temporary. you can't lose weight, be nicer, study more, etc., if you wait and wait and wait until next year and procrastinate again. so, how can you be your best self?

1. stop procrastinating

a few months ago, i watched a video on how to stop procrastinating. and long story short, you can't wait until you're ready, you have to make yourself do it. there is no such thing as feeling 'ready.' you have to be ready, you have to tell yourself "i'm ready." that's the only way to achieve your goals.

2. make your goals realistic

if you have a goal to lose weight, don't set your goal as 'lose 300 pounds by march.' that doesn't even sound right. first of all, that means you're losing more than 3 pounds a day, which is not healthy. second, you're going to kill yourself. i'm serious. both the physical and psychological stress will kill you.

3. stop doubting yourself

if you make your goals realistic like i told you to, then there literally should be no reason to doubt yourself. what the hell are you scared of? failing? failure is apart of success. have you ever heard the term 'opposites attract?' it references dating, but it also applies to life. if you only have good things happen, you won't be prepared for failure and you won't know how to deal with it. but if you fail, you'll know how to get back up again.

4. make vision boards

you can either make one vision board for the whole year. or, you can make one for each month, like me. i like to go on pinterest for pics, and i find a few on tumblr, but mainly pinterest. vision boards are a good way to help you visualize what you want your life to look like.

5. make it a habit

if you want to, make january your time to practice. make your goals habits first. it only takes 30 days to develop a habit.

Being Embarrassed is AN ILLUSION!

Being Embarrassed Is AN ILLUSION!

(I don’t own these photos!)

“Most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself.” - Elle Woods

Being Embarrassed Is AN ILLUSION!

What does being embarrassed feel like? Well, our first feelings are always insecurity and to overthink. We worry about what others think of us. We worry about getting judged, to even overthinking what we said. I promise you that these people are too focused on their own life. They could even be just like you and overthinking what they said or did.

Why do we get embarrassed? A big part of our population are most likely people pleasers. We all care about what someone thinks about us. Whether it’s your parents, relatives, friends, bf/gf, etc. We also get judged a lot, from the day we came into this life. It’s hard to go from a pure and innocent child to a child scared of being judged. In conclusion, being scared of getting judged is why we get so embarrassed.

The mindset! In order to truly realize being embarrassed is an illusion, you have to walk with this thought. It has to become a life motto, not just that but a rule for yourself. You have to become committed and make sure you’re aware of this. If you get embarrassed and forget it’s an illusion, brush it off.

Validating yourself! One of the main reasons why we get embarrassed or afraid of being judged is, because we love praise. Praise from others that is, so start praising yourself. When you see yourself in the mirror, compliment yourself. Tell yourself the things you want to hear so badly from.

Love you dolls! Thank you dolls for reading 😘
