my place!

a/o: reader and megumi have mother-son time until someone stepped in.
he couldn't sleep.
as his sister sleeps peacefully besides him he kept staring at the ceiling hoping at some point sleep will catch him. well that went on for an almost an hour nothing successful.
that when he decided to get up as quite as possible, avoiding to wake up tsumiki on the other side, closing the door behind him. as he walked a figure of a woman ahead of him cleaning the table of the kitchen and humming a random song, she didn't seem to notice megumi for a while.
he would never admit it but he liked her a lot, ever since she stepped in both his live and tsumiki has been a lot better. he finally got someone else to help with the homework, someone carry the house of little tsumiki shoulders so that she can focus more on her studies. he got more better at school and with the delicious meals welcoming them every day. their live had never been better.
but there's only problem. her lover was the most annoying unreasonable creature to be made. satoru gojo, that man can't cook to save his live, and he mix the white laundry with the color one, and doesn't bother to get any cleaning done. and he only walks them out of school just because his dear girlfriend asked him to.
he sometimes wonders what the hell did she see in him.
as she noticed his small form she straight up walked to him, "megumi, are you okay? did you have a nightmare or something?" asking as she kneeled down to meet his eyes, did he also mention she was so kind that he sometimes gets so overwhelmed with it.
"no, just couldn't sleep." he say and she sighs with relief.
"i was wondering if i could stay up with you." she seemed hesitant for a moment but thinking about it, it wasn't a school night and she wasn't sleeping until satrou get back. maybe it's better than staying up alone all night, a little time with him wouldn't hurt.
she's the first to sat with patting the space beside her for him to sit, but instead he jumped on her lap making himself comfortable, she was surprised for a second then warped her arms around him gently.
he didn't know why he sat on her lap he just did it, and he felt an off warm thing in his chest not the feeling that make him want to throw up but the other one that brought him a small unnoticeable smile. they sat there watching a tv cartoon that little megumi enjoyed.
until the door slammed so hard that caused him to jump a little and hold tight on the arms around him, the tall white haired man stands there for a while he looked exhausted, his usual annoying smile was nowhere to be found rather a dead expression on his face, staring at nothing he closed the door and walked up to them.
"can't you knock? you could've waked up tsumiki." megumi asked annoyed with gojo's sudden behavior more annoyed that he didn't knowledge megumi's comment, but a hand gently held his shoulder and he turned to face her.
"megumi, do you mind getting a cup of water?" he hesitated for a moment, but eventually listened and got down from her warmth, mumbling how he only did it because she asked on his way.
she turned to satoru's face whose eyes were hidden behind his sunglasses, she moved aside for him to sit but instead he thrown himself on the whole couch taking all space and his head resting on her lap, his breathing normal now and muscles are resting.
she took off his sunglasses putting on the table. her hand gently brushed his hair then moved touching his face, his palm resting on her hand and his eyes are half closed like he was ready to fall asleep any moment.
"hard day?"
"you have no idea." his voice was rusty, must been a hard on.
"hey!, that's my place." the little boy stepped angrily threatening to spell the water.
"get lost brat."
"i was here first." megumi objected, trying te grab gojo, but damn was he heavy.
"my girl, my place. go sit on the other couch."
the little boy huffed angrily then looked at satour's beloved for help but she only gave him a 'sorry' smile.
he stormed off angrily to sit on the other couch, he's lucky that he was on her save arms because megumi would have smashed his head with the glass of water.
"hold up, isn't that past your bedtime?"
"shut up."

₊˚⊹。 do you believe in love? | gojo satoru

wc: 808 summary: you’re both 23 when you first ask gojo about love. warnings: a bit of sad, there is a swear, kind of a will-they-won’t-they, alludes to some of gojo’s possible internal struggles, might feel a bit ooc? but i like to think gojo does have serious conversations once in a while a/n: the kind of gojo i envision in this is inspired by all the teen dad/dad gojo fics that i’ve ever read, most notably 'teen dad gojo' by @seravphs and 'keeping up with the fushiguros' by @/augustinewrites. this isn’t an addition to any of their works, but the way they write and characterise gojo has shaped the way i understand him (and ultimately how i write him) in these little blurbs of mine :’) please do check their works out if you have the time, it’s some of my favourites!! :’) part i of conversations on love: i | ii
comments, tags, and reblogs are greatly appreciated ♡

“Do you believe in love?”
You don’t think he hears you at first, but that’s impossible; the night is quiet, with only you and Gojo sitting by the steps of the dormitory entrance. His dangly long legs brush against yours, lingering barely.
Since Suguru’s defection, Gojo’s gotten a lot more contemplative. He hides it a lot, especially with Megumi and Tsumiki around, but there are times that you catch him spacing out. There’s a far away look on his face and his demeanor completely shifts, rambunctiousness fading into something more restrained, if only in that moment.
Other times, you’re let into that space with him, like now.
“I do.” he replies, uncharacteristically succinct. He doesn’t even look at you when he says it.
You weren’t expecting it, to be honest. With everything that’s happened to him so far, you were ready for a flat out cynical ‘no’. But—
“But,” he continues, “not for me.”
There’s the ‘but’.
He turns to look at you, eyes covered by the bandages he’s been opting for more recently. You’ve known Gojo since you were both 15, and somehow, you’ve gotten good at guessing what he’s always hiding.
“You wanna tell me why?” you nudge. You figure this is good for him—or at least you hope it is.
Getting Gojo to actually sit and have a real conversation with you has been increasingly difficult since Suguru disappeared. Taking in the Fushiguros, then the higher ups assigning him missions back-to-back-to-back—it’s been a lot. And you worry about him, if he’s even been able to sit down and process everything, if he’s even given himself the chance to feel for once.
“Not really,” he shrugs, turning back to the garden in front of you. There isn’t much to discuss, it either fits in his life or doesn’t. When he’s meant for a purpose much larger than himself, small wants remain at just that: small, negligible.
You huff, unable to hide your disappointment, “Okay.”
But, you respect him and what he wants (or does not want) to say.
As you stare out with him, Gojo eyes you from the side, the pout on your lips a teenage souvenir you still carry now at 23. He breaks into a small smile, the corners of his lips curving up slightly, fondly.
“It’s just not meant for me, that’s all.”
He doesn’t look at you when he says that, too.
You slowly avert your gaze from the grass in front of you, focusing on him instead. His smile is still there, although it feels resigned, like he’s accepted this long ago.
Gojo has never been meant to handle something so delicate and fragile—his divinity keeps him untouchable from such pure things.
Still, you want to tell him that that’s not true. That you think love is meant for everyone, even in this fucked up, cursed world—especially in this fucked up, cursed world.
You want to tell him that love is meant for him too.
“Do you wish it were?”
He hums, arms stretching back as he leans on his wrists. His head dips back, looking at the sky. There’s a pause, then an exhale before he continues, “There’s no point thinking about it, I guess.”
A non-answer. You take what you can get; it’s hard enough getting Gojo to be honest with you, much less talk about things like this. The night continues this way: you exchange anecdotes about your latest missions, then talk about Megumi’s most recent involvement in a school incident. Serious questions pop up here and there but you don’t push, and Gojo is willing to share what he can.
.
.
.
You are 23 when you first ask Gojo if he believes in love, and he does, but what he doesn’t tell you is this: that he only believes it because he sees it in you—through the things you do, for Megumi and Tsumiki. For him too.
There’s always been this unspoken thing between the two of you. He doesn’t know what to call it—never has, but it’s comfortable and safe, so he tries to keep it that way.
Suguru has left an unpatchable hole inside of him that only you can seem to touch, softening the jaggedy edges so it doesn’t cut as deep. When he first showed up with Megumi and Tsumiki that one Friday night, you had all the questions in the world; he could see it, feel it in the furrow of your brows and the tapping of your foot. But instead, you asked this: “Have you guys eaten dinner yet?”
Gojo cannot afford love, not yet. Not when there’s still so much at risk, still so much to do. The cons significantly outweigh the pros on both ends, so this will have to do for now—this unspoken thing, that he hopes one day, he can finally call for what it really is.
this is gojou satoru, i can’t come to the phone right now since i’m probably saving the world. send a voicemail and i might find the time to get back to you later!
you rested your head on shoko’s shoulder as a sob wrecked through you and she reached an arm around you comfortingly, a cigarette in the other hand.
it had been six days since shibuya. nanami was dead, getou’s body had been reanimated by some curse named kenjaku and satoru was just… gone. it was moments like this that made you question what being a jujutsu sorcerer was for.
you had been in satoru’s year, part of the core four since 2005 and only two of you sat there today. you couldn’t recount a year you hadn’t lost someone and now your husband, the honoured one, the strongest sorcerer alive, was gone too.
“he won’t pick up,” shoko said dryly, taking a puff from her cigarette. you were in her morgue and you didn’t exactly think it was sanitary but you were sure nanami wouldn’t mind (he didn’t have a choice). your eyes flickered to the white cloth that hid the pieces of remains they could recover – you couldn’t even save his face.
“i know.” and yet you still found yourself clicking onto his contact again (satoru aka the most perfectly irresistible man that has ever existed i love him so much he’s so perfect mwah mwah mwah – satoru had gone through your phone one day and deemed ‘toru <3’ wasn’t enough for him).
it run eight times before it cut to that god damn automated message again.

I am such a hypocrite , I will defend Hawks from mha who was fantasized as a cheater from that 2020 trend, that he doesn't have a shitty personality and won't cheat meanwhile when it comes to Gojo I usually agree to people that he would cheat on the girl he is in relationship or married , when both of them are characterized as playboys , womanizers by the fandom
Lmaooo😂🤣
ANONNIEEE WHAT?!
Okay I'm obliged to defend my man actually. Because he would NEVER, like never EVER cheat on this s/o.
Look at him! He's still not over his ex?? And it's been like what? TEN YEARS? Literally there's much canon material that this man is beyond loyal (look at him and suguru). His loyalty towards his ideals, friends and students is already high enough, I'm sure it'll be more than doubled with his s/o.
Suguru and him is such an easy example because Suguru was the first person Satoru ever opened up to and we all have seen how this man acted when Suguru betrayed him. All of his rationality left him. Ten years later? Still the same thing. He saw Suguru for a moment and all he was filled with memories of 3 years and his rationality left him causing him to be sealed. HE COMES BACK and the first thing he wants to do is mourn over Suguru.
He thinks and feels deeply about betrayals. He's been betrayed, by his best friend, by his one and only and that thing broke him. He knows the pain of betrayal and he feels it everyday.
Plus he is the Gojo Satoru. The strongest sorcerer. The honoured one. His name is widespread and famous throughout the entire planet. There are bounties on his head. People and curses, alike, want him dead. But his powers, his infinity makes him untouchable. He relishes in the fact he's the strongest and he does NOT tolerate ANY threat to his powers. Toji who almost killed him? Dead. That whip from movie zero what negated/ignored cursed techniques? He made sure to get RID of that thing THOROUGHLY!! He doesn't even drink/can't drink alcohol.
It's absolutely impossible for him to turn off infinity for a quick nut and allow a person to see him in the vulnerable moments of sex. Like no that's NOT Satoru.
Also this bitch is probably ridiculously busy. This man has missions, 5+ kids to handle, busy eating sweets and an ungodly amount of food WITH an overcooked brain.
So in my opinion.
He doesn't or cannot open up his heart to anyone but if someone does manage to do the impossible, he's doomed.
If you come into his life, make your way through the walls he built up, give him all the love he deserves and never got, be there for him and understand the kind of person he is without judging him and letting him be himself with you. If you see through the facade of the strongest, being rich and handsome and see the kind of person Gojo Satoru is, love him for who he truly is.
Gojo Satoru will worship the ground you walk. You will be in the center of his world. Sometimes, he'll even treat you like a delicate little butterfly who he can't hold on to tightly but also who would fly away, fly away from him, never to return. He knows you're a human but he nonetheless still treats you just delicately and with full of love, hoping you would never leave him.
Also, if you manage to win his heart, he can only see you. No one, absolutely no one in the world compares to you. All other people seem so uninteresting and bland to him. Other than his responsibility, he really could care less about the other people.
Oh- by no chance I'm saying he's flawless. He's absolutely flawed, perhaps he has way too many flaws. He's also an attention whore who is ridiculously arrogant. But he's still not a cheater, never a scum who would break someone's trust. Never.
when megumi asks gojo to teach him how to ride a bike, he panics–how would he teach a kid how to ride a bike when he doesn’t know how to ride one either? instead of admitting that, however, gojo goes out and buys a kids’ bike with training wheels, reassuring megumi that ‘of course he knows how to ride a bike, he’s the best cyclist in the world’! megumi doubts him the moment gojo’s confident facade falls and he eyes the bike weirdly.
you’re in the bath at your small apartment when gojo calls you, saying he desperately needs you. you immediately jump out of the tub and dry yourself as you attempt to simultaneously throw on your uniform. when you get to gojo’s place, you quickly look around in fear that something is wrong only to find little megumi and tsumiki crowded around a gaudy blue bike. megumi looks up at you, a bike helmet a size too big pulled over his messy hair.
“are you going to teach me how to ride a bike?” he asks as he scratches at the velcro straps on his knee pads.
huh?
everything clicks into place when gojo comes around the corner with unnecessary biking equipment piled high in his arms. you grit your teeth. of course gojo would ask you to teach megumi how to ride a bike, you and suguru were the only ones who knew how to ride one in the first place. you didn’t think it was too useful of a skill when you and your classmates were younger, especially after the young gojo clan head had called you a country bumpkin for knowing how to ride a bike, but you suppose it was important enough that gojo would deliberately go out of his way to get you to teach a kid how to bike.
as gojo deposits everything in his arms, you crouch down to megumi’s height with a smile on your face, pushing your still wet hair out of your eyes. you reach forward and adjust megumi’s helmet.
“how long have you been biking with training wheels?” you ask, pulling the helmet straps a little tighter and clipping them into place.
megumi purses his lips as he looks away to think. “a few weeks,” he says, “i want to be the first one in my grade to know how to ride a bike without training wheels, though.” you let out a little laugh as megumi tucks his chin away from you, his cheeks a soft pink.
“alright, megumi, i’ll make sure that you’re the first person in your grade to ride a bike.” you extend your pinky towards him, “i pinky promise,” you say, tilting your head with a bright smile. megumi shyly links his pinky with yours as your smile widens.
teaching megumi how to ride a bike is hard. gojo hovers over your shoulder as you run behind megumi as he pedals on his bike, watching with a small unhidden grimace every single time you let go of the back of the blue bike and tell megumi to ‘keep going’! not only does having gojo next to you make it significantly harder to instruct megumi, but you also have to listen to him attempt to console and give wrong advice to the kid.
you groan outwardly as megumi topples over on his bike a few feet away from you. as gojo begins to walk towards him, you bring your arm up and block him.
“satoru,” you warn, “if you continue to give megumi wrong advice again i will fucking punch you.” you turn towards him and glare sharply. “let me do this.”
you walk towards megumi and gojo falters, watching as you take the boy into your arms and pat the dirt off of him and make sure his knee pads are on tightly. the evening wind blows through your and megumi’s hair as you crouch down and pick up the ugly, scratched bike and help megumi settle back onto it. tsumiki stands up from the park bench she’s seated at and makes her way towards gojo, watching as you and megumi begin to race even further down the park’s bicycle only section. you let go and cheer loudly as megumi finally gets the hang of it, jumping up and down before bounding after him as he bikes around and around.
“i like them,” tsumiki tells gojo, letting gojo reach down and pull her hair out of her face as the wind begins to pick up even more.
“me too,” he admits softly, watching you and megumi turn around, listening as your and megumi’s elated laughter fills the empty park.
