Made Another Collar To Continue Testing Out The Process. An Issue I Had On The Previous One Was That

Made another collar to continue testing out the process. An issue I had on the previous one was that my laser cutter is not large enough to cut the whole strap at once. But if I broke the top strap into multiple smaller pieces, I could get the necessary full length. So I tested out the idea by making a rainbow! Each color gets its own separate fragment of strap, and they all get attached down onto a sturdy base layer. I'm still working out the sizing though. The previous collar was smaller than I wanted, so I lengthened the straps a bit for this one. But without the extra layer of lining sewn in, this one ended up being rather longer than I'd wanted. So I guess I'll just have to make another one, oh woe is me. 2 layers of 8 oz vegetable-tanned leather, cut with the help of a laser, then dyed, finished and assembled by hand. Strap is 1.5" wide. This collar is available on my Etsy shop here. Also, everything on my Etsy shop is on sale for 20% off through 11/30! Get your black friday deals while they're hot!

Here’s some preliminary photos of a Lucario costume I’m making. The goal is a gijinka style outfit--not trying to make a fursuit, but instead making an outfit that translates the main character design elements into clothing and accessories.
The components shown so far are: mask/hood, harness with chest spike, and fuzzy vest.
I started this for Halloween, because even if parties can’t happen it’s good for me to have a deadline in mind when making new stuff. I’ve got a few more pieces planned, and getting nice photos right now is a bit tricky, but I'll be able to show more updates to this outfit eventually.
Thread of progress shots of the various components here.

Lesbian Dragon Dice Bag
A scale mail pouch made for a friend of mine, in the closest approximation I could reasonably do to the Lesbian Pride Flag colors. (All those subtle pastel shades are real hard to match when you're not mixing paints yourself.)
I like running the scales along the circumference of these bags. Pointing them vertically down from the opening is more common, but I find this orientation means it cinches open and closed much more comfortably.
Anodized aluminum scales, woven together with stainless steel rings, closed with nylon cord and a stopper. For size comparison, when opened this one fit 3 fingers side by side through the mouth.
I don't currently have these dice bags up as a standard option on my Etsy store, but if you'd like something like this, feel free to drop me a note!

A black version of my plague doctor hood. (Previously.)
I went for a lustrous finish coat on this, with silvered lenses that block off all view of the inside. I tend to prefer matte finishes on light colored pieces, but black does look really nice when it’s shiny.
This hood has ear-cups for comfort (with holes for good hearing), ventilation holes on the underside and side of the beak, and enough room inside to wear glasses underneath!
Designed by myself, laser-cut out of 4 oz vegetable-tanned leather, then formed, dyed, finished, riveted and sewn together by hand. It’s available here.

I'm slowly re-organizing the jewelry portion of my Etsy shop, combining the thin and wide versions of these sorts of bracelets into the same listings. Already did bronze and rainbow, next up is probably blackened steel.
(I'd previously combined the thin ones all into one listing and you chose the metal as an option, but I found that most of the sales were from the individual posts for wide bracelets of specific metals, so apparently that organization scheme was confusing to people.)
Available here!

Drone dragon visor and armor.
This breastplate was the big personal project I got finished up before last Halloween, but in the rush of prep for conventions in Jan-Feb I forgot to post it.
I had a lot of fun building it. I designed and pulled the pattern off of a duct tape dummy of myself, so it fits me very specifically. (Process shots here.) With the rigidity of the leather and the fit of the design, it basically acts like a corset.
Other photos of the visor can be found here, and it’s up for sale on my Etsy (either this one or custom colors), but the torso will stay a personal piece. I don’t currently have the torso forms that would be necessary to make stuff that is quite this carefully fitted. I still do want to try to work out a reasonable corset design though.
