Skin Beast. Made From The Shreds And Remnants Of Many Different Hides Of Leather.

Skin beast. Made from the shreds and remnants of many different hides of leather.
I’m always fond of the ugly parts of a hide of leather. The scars, the brands, the ragged edges. Parts that you can’t use for a regular project. But sometimes the bits languishing at the bottom of the scraps pile call out to you, demanding that you make something with them.
This one-of-a-kind nightmare is available on my Etsy!

So if you’re not aware, furries have been getting into pup play in recent years, and sometimes they commission art of their characters wearing pup hoods. Which presents a problem of, where do the ears go? Normally they are drawn poking through holes in the hood, and I always think it is cute and silly.
This was my attempt at making that physical. Roughly mimicked the standard hood pattern in leather with laces up the back, very simple detailing. (I liked that nose though.)
Ears by a local friend who goes by Puff.
This one sold at Anthro New England this last weekend. I’m likely to try refining the concept and making another in the future, we shall see.

Quick round-up of some recent small orders.
A pair of anodized aluminum scale bracelets, one in plain purple and one with a pattern of green on black.
An eyeglasses-compatible mask, which used up the very last of my old purple dye. Now I get to try a different brand, and see if I like it more!
And 3 barrettes showing a good comparison of yellow, orange and brown dyes.

Raven skull mask! I made a small update to the design, which made me disproportionately excited.
The tweak was adding a rivet between the eyes. It pulls the beak upwards slightly and holds it in place better. Previously, I had to crease that spot in a particular way to get the shape, and it was less reliable. (Previously.)
I tried this edit on a couple more masks right before ANE, and it worked well, but they sold before I could get photos. So I'll need to make more copies of those masks again and do a bunch more photo shoots.
In the meantime, here it is on my Etsy!

Pet rocks! I had these at my table at Anthro New England over the weekend. They always get a lot of attention and laughs. One with a pony play harness (that I failed to get photos of ahead of time) actually sold to one of my favorite kink artists!
These are available in my Etsy shop! And if they find homes, I can make some more!
