Fancy Padded Collar! This One Is An Updated Version Of A Previous Geometric Design Of Mine.

Fancy padded collar! This one is an updated version of a previous geometric design of mine.
The main difference the commissioner wanted here was the D-ring with integrated O-ring. I hadn’t had a chance to use them before, they jingle in a really satisfying way.
The main difference on my end was splitting the top strap into two pieces, which let it fit into my laser cutter cleanly instead of needing weird workarounds. Also, bridging the D-ring with a small separate piece actually seems to work more cleanly than bending the top strap over it. (And I got to fix a lot of fit/size and material/finishing issues from the original one. The differences are hard to see, but trust me, it’s way better.)
Main straps are 9-10 oz vegetable-tanned leather, liner is 4 oz chrome-tanned leather. Strap details are laser-cut, then they get trimmed, dyed, burnished and finished by hand. Stitching is also all hand-done. Top strap is 1″ wide, total width 2″.

Raven skull mask! I made a small update to the design, which made me disproportionately excited.
The tweak was adding a rivet between the eyes. It pulls the beak upwards slightly and holds it in place better. Previously, I had to crease that spot in a particular way to get the shape, and it was less reliable. (Previously.)
I tried this edit on a couple more masks right before ANE, and it worked well, but they sold before I could get photos. So I'll need to make more copies of those masks again and do a bunch more photo shoots.
In the meantime, here it is on my Etsy!

Here’s a big batch of leather fortune cookies I made a couple months ago. These were destined for party favors for a kid’s birthday party, so they had some custom fortunes in them that were much less sarcastic than my regular fortunes.
The order coincided with when I got a couple bottles of a new brand of dye to try out (namely blue and purple). So this was a good chance to get some good comparisons between the options.
These are available on my etsy either singly or by the dozen!

A pair of anodized aluminum necklaces with the colors of the pan and trans pride flags. I have too many styles of jewelry to just make every pride flag for the full menu, but if people keep requesting more types I'll eventually get closer.
Etsy link.
Oh, and a bonus trans pride stretchy bracelet.

Quick round-up of some recent small orders.
A pair of anodized aluminum scale bracelets, one in plain purple and one with a pattern of green on black.
An eyeglasses-compatible mask, which used up the very last of my old purple dye. Now I get to try a different brand, and see if I like it more!
And 3 barrettes showing a good comparison of yellow, orange and brown dyes.

At the request of someone at ANE, I made a version of my flame mask that can be worn with glasses! I can do that with many of my masks, it just takes a bit of time to rework the pattern and scootch details around to clear out the space between the eyes.
Aaaand it's up on my Etsy page for future ordering!
