Soooo… I was watching The Adam Project and it inspired me to write a short poetry. It’s such a good movie, mixed with crying and laughter, a good combination you don’t see these days. Which is why it’s a great movie for those who hasn’t seen it.

Anyways, I’m gonna get right to it! I hope you like it!

It’s been a while, huh?

Sorry it took me this long

I’ve searched everywhere for you

You’re still the one for me

My heart belongs to you always

I know there’s a moment somewhere

In a time where we are happy

Even if it’s not now

It will be here someday

We just won’t expect it soon

We might not recognize each other at first

But deep down, we know we’re right together

Even in another life, I’d still find you

And fall in love all over again

We’ll meet again.

When I watched that movie, the part where Adam’s wife Laura tells him to leave and go back to 2018, and set things right for the future, meaning there’ll be no time travel. Adam hesitates, because it means they’ll never meet, as they met in the future, but Laura assured him they will meet again.

She was convinced by the fact that they’ll meet again, and told him; “Every moment we ever had will always have happened. Even if we correct the time stream, somewhere in us will be the echo of this one and we will find each other.”

That line broke me. She was so brave and trusted Adam to correct the time stream, even if it meant they met in a different place or never met at all, she was SO sure that they’d meet again, just not in the same way they did in the future.

Adam did meet her again in the future, just in a different place and maybe he did remember a little about the past when he went back to find his wife, Laura, because when he said, “Not anymore. I found you.”, they both stared at each other in silence and in happiness, and in that moment, I silently wondered if they somehow remembered what happened in that time when they tried to correct the time stream.

I guess we’ll never know. This movie keeps us guessing at what happens in the end, and if Adam and Laura actually remembered the past.

This movie is so amazing, I can’t describe what I feel about this, but I can say one thing: Love. You’d do anything for your loved one, go back in the past and save them or change the past, make the future better and maybe alter it a little.

Time travel is amazing, isn’t it? Such a shame it doesn’t really exist. It would be great if it does exist, and we’d be able to fix our mistakes and maybe save our loved ones from death, or sickness, or anything. It makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
