(This was originally intended to be a Shuri x F!Reader but it can suit any gender)

A is for Adventure: something they haven’t done but have always wanted to

Shuri's always wanted to go ice skating. So when you showed her the bookings and took her from her lab for the weekend to go she absolutely blew up. When you got on the ice it was a different story however because she just would not let go of you. She eventually got her bearings and she was skating circles around you.

B is for Butterflies: How they act when they’re nervous

She's convinced she doesn't act nervous around you at all. But you know she's nervous when she stares at her tablets and screens in the lab, occasionally looking up and meeting your gaze. Whenever you both do she turns this adorable red and she goes back to wiring which you find absolutely amazing.

C is for Crush: what is it like when they have a crush? How do they know/act?

Similar to B, she throws herself into her work and tries to ignore the feelings. Whenever GRIOT tells her you've arrived into the room she specifically focuses on her work. But she likes to give you smiles and winks to hint towards her feelings and more

D is for Date: describe an ideal date for them

She'd love to go to the cinemas and laser tag too. She's so intrigued in electronics that she'd flip if she saw the big screen at the cinemas and heard the surround sound of the speakers. And when you'd go laser tag, although she'd most likely walk into walls due to how amazed she is, she'd be at awe with how the game works and get shot a lot as a result (which would cost you the game but you love her a lot)

E is for Essential: what is one thing they could NEVER go without

She could never go without your hugs for a certain amount of times. You have to be on standby in case she needs that special hug from her special someone. She's also just a bubbly person so she's happy you always give in

F is for Favorite: a favorite anything- food, place, smell, book, etc.

Her lab is her most favourite place to be when you're in Wakanda. She's always vibing to American music which a lot of the wakandans aren't a big fan of but her lab is her safe space and you enjoy the music just as much as her. She just loves to tinker away for hours and hours in there, sometimes even falling asleep which would mean GRIOT would bother you again for the 3rd day in a row to let you know she had fallen asleep.

G is for Giggle: how they laugh/what makes them laugh

Her laugh is purely contagious and she could laugh for an hour straight if she wanted to. She finds some of the most simplest things funny so you always throw cringey pickup lines or jokes that have stupid answers to break a tense situation which makes you smile too.

H is for Holding Hands: Do they like holding hands? Are their hands warm or cold? Pinky promises?

She's in the middle with holding hands. She loves the hugs, she loves to just exert her happiness with squeezes. She does it occasionally when moments come when you hold hands, but she's prefers hugs. Her hands are always moderately warm because she works so much in the lab.

I is for Inside Joke: something they do that everyone thinks is funny but they don’t understand

She cannot stand still which has caused a lot of people to say she's like a penguin. She's constantly shifting around in place or moving small little distances, moving parts of her body. She doesn't understand the 'penguin' comments, and every attempt at explaining to her what it means is just met with even more confusion.

J is for Jinx: Are they Superstitious?

Very superstitious. Considering the fact she found out Riri had miraculously built a vibrainum detector in a few months and then literally met a god, she believes in a lot of things. Not that she didn't when you both started dating, she'd always tell you about stories she believed in, but she's started to believe in a lot more other things such as ghosts and other mythical creatures.

K is for Kiss: how do they kiss?

Her kisses aren't long lasting, just little pecks and an occasional few seconds kiss, but when you do get them they're the most important thing to you. They're super soft and compassionate and she makes sure they have a lasting impact with you because you are her world.

L is for Love Languge: what is their love language? How do they give and how would they like to receive love?

Just being together is really what she wants. She understands you can't be together all the time, but being in the lab for an hour or 2 will give her the comfort she deserves. She loves when you help with her creations. Especially after the whole Talokan situation she's been a lot more clingy but you've accepted her needs and she loves you even more for being there for her.

M is for Meant to be: how/when they know someone is “the one”

She goes on and on about how she ships Aneka and Ayo and she just senses the tension between the two. When she's around you she'll drop subtle hints of 'true love', words, sometimes phrases. She doesn't think you catch on, but you definitely know what she's implying and you adore it.

N is for Nickname: a nickname they would have or their favorite thing to be called

Although she doesn't like it, you like to call her princess all the time. Although it's formal and she's complained at you countless times for doing it, you can't help but smile at her remarks and begs for you to stop calling her it.

O is for Organization: are they clean or messy?

It depends. Sometimes you find the lab in absolute, clean, pristine condition and the next second it will be a giant mess. Lots of the times the mess is because Shuri has just come up with some revolutionary idea that means she's going to turn the whole place upside down, so you just accept the chaos that is her melancholy, long working hours in the labs on those days.

P is for Pet Peeve: What’s something they absolutely CAN’T stand?

Spelling mistakes. Spell a word wrong or use a wrong version of 'there' or 'your' and she'll be on your ass until you change it. She even does it with you and constantly bugs and nags you until you change it. Sometimes you actually kind of enjoy it and just love her constant whining over one word you spelt wrong in your entire college essay.

Q is for Quiet: What do they do for peace of mind

She will either go to you or M'Baku. 90% of the time she goes to you because she loves you so much to the point where you keep her at peace a lot of the time. The 10% is just in case you're not around and because M'Baku is the closest to a mentor figure for her.

R is for Rainy Day: Do they like rain? What about storms? How would they spend a rainy day?

She loves the feel of rain and will drag you out into it even if you don't want to go out. She just loves the aftersmell and there's not much rain in wakanda so she savours every moment of it. When its stormy however she goes straight to you and you snuggle together because she's absolutely terrified of the thunder and lightning and you just stay with her until she feels most at peace.

S is for Soft: Describe their softest feature

Her softest features are her hands. It's contradictory as she works with her hands for most of the days so you think they'd get worn and tired out, but they're actually really smooth to the touch. That's why when you hold hands or do anything that involves hands really, you cherish those moments because you love them.

T is for Telephone: are they a talker or a texter? How often do they use their phone?

Both. There is no in between. Because she is such a tech addict she'll gladly do both, depending on if she's in a super talky mood if you're away, or if you're hanging in your wakandan bedroom and she's too focused on a project to break her train of thought and call you. She uses her phone quite a lot and you can't get away from the animal videos she sends you.

U is for Unique: a random quirk they have

Due to her using her hands so much to work, they're always super shaky. They're not cold, she just uses them so much that it's got to a point where her hands just shakes on its own. You find it cute when she's taking a selfie of the two of you together and it ends up coming out blurry, which you both just laugh about and continue reattempting to take it again.

V is for Valentine: Are they the type to celebrate or not?

Absolutely. She will create homemade gifts, gadgets, anything that will help you on the day. Chocolates and flowers? Nope- for her she'll put her heart and soul and make something homemade and spend time on it for the special day. And you love her for it. And she loves you when you give her flowers and chocolate for the day because she loves them from you. She just feels guilty when she doesn't make you anything homemade.

W is for Wholesome: something extremely pure about them that makes you just *uwu*

She's super caring. When you've seen her interacting with some of the wakandans on her daily walks she's super soft and kind with every single one of them. Similar with animals that some times rest at the shore. You're convinced she'd take care of everyone - if she's in the right mood

X is for Xenia: How they would entertain a guest/show hospitality

She'd be super bubbly and bouncy. She's very extroverted in these moments. She likes to let her presence be known, after all she is the princess. She also just likes to show off her Black Panther powers which you just find super hot.

Y is for Youth: A fond childhood memory they have

Her fondest childhood memory would likely be one where her, T'Challa, Ramonda and their father would all go down to the shore and have picnics, spending time as a family. She sometimes reminisces when she's down there, but you let her know you're there, and you're not going anywhere. You also reassure her that all 3 of them are watching over her and she's safe.

Z is for Zzz: Sleep habits. Do they cuddle in their sleep? Talk? What do they dream about?

She cuddles a lot with you. It let's her sleep and she falls asleep faster when she has you by her side. She tends to talk a lot in her dreams about you, but she tends to have more nightmares which you can help with just a soft wake up as to not startle her and then some reassurance she's okay and nothing bad will happen. After the whole talokan incident was when the nightmares started happening more frequently so you'd offer hot coco or just stay up with her.

Although Echo would much rather endlessly help out with the Resistance and save clones, one of his life goals had been to go swimming. Now he was more or less incapable due to his cybernetic parts, but it didn't stop him from imagining the feeling from time to time. The only time he did get close was slipping on the way back to the ship in escape of the crabs

B is for Butterflies: How they act when they’re nervous

Echo would be very withdrawn and quiet. It mostly stems from what happened on Skako Minor, and you'd found that he was a lot more nervous after that. But you'd find your ways around those nervous feelings and adapt to make sure when you're around him he doesn't have to feel so nervous and unsafe. You do your best to help his nervous habits

C is for Crush: what is it like when they have a crush? How do they know/act?

Awkward glances and stares across the room/ship. He can't admit his emotions properly due to the fear of you not liking him back, so he marvels at you from afar. When he is around you he gets clumsy and sheepish, which made it pretty easy for you to pinpoint he must like you

D is for Date: describe an ideal date for them

He'd prefer something a lot more quiet and something that felt more intimate. Probably a walk on Pabu beach due to the lack of people during the times the sunsets. It'd just be him and you, and he'd bring his own picnic too, although he forgets to put the sandwiches in a box, so when he opened the basket the sandwiches were mushed up

E is for Essential: what is one thing they could NEVER go without

More of a headcanon, but I'd like to think he has Fives' helmet stored somewhere where he can always see it and just think about all his brothers. He makes sure it's in the Marauder if they're on missions, and in their room back on Kamino (before it was destroyed)

F is for Favorite: a favorite anything- food, place, smell, book, etc.

He's grown keen of the smell around the Batch. It's a throwback to "The smell's getting worse' and he's just slowly gotten used to it like Hunter said. You wish you could say the same thing about yourself, you're still slowly adapting to him but Echo helps you out through it. Also convinced his favourite place would be Pabu, just so he can rest and escape the pressures of everything around him

G is for Giggle: how they laugh/what makes them laugh

He laughs at bad jokes. Its not an outright laugh, it's more of a soft chuckle he does occasionally when he finds something funny. Which is why you have a long list of terrible jokes you crack in terrible situations just to hear the chuckle. He can't help it. He'd laugh at something like: What do you call a fly with no wings? A walk

H is for Holding Hands: Do they like holding hands? Are their hands warm or cold? Pinky promises?

Mainly cold because of his cybernetic body, and you can only hold one hand. However you don't mind the cold, you always warm up his hand and make his day. He's taken aback whenever you come along and just scoop his hand up in yours, but he finds your touch comforting

Echo. His name literally. Its funny to you when he repeats things and gets all confused when he wonders why you're laughing. Like the time he admitted he liked you: but then five minutes later came back saying it again, forgetting he had told you earlier on

J is for Jinx: Are they Superstitious?

Very superstitious. He's made it this far, with surviving the Citadel miraculously and saving all the other wacky and weird missions he'd been assigned whilst with the batch

K is for Kiss: how do they kiss?

Quick and soft. He doesn't want to waste your time and he's scared he'll overdo it if he drags it on longer. You don't think that, but you partake in the quick and soft kisses too just to make sure he feels comfortable. He would love to try and become more confident with longer one's though

L is for Love Languge: what is their love language? How do they give and how would they like to receive love?

Soft and compassionate compliments. He always comes up with different nicknames or adds a loving word at the very end of his sentences when addressing you. You think it's cute. You like to joke and be cute around him, and he loves that you do that. He's trying to get used to a more joky side of himself

M is for Meant to be: how/when they know someone is “the one”

I don't think he'll know for certain because he's worried he could be wrong, but if he thinks someone may stick in his life for a bit he's not too afraid to approach them and engage in conversation. He'd done the same thing with you, and he's overjoyed he did

N is for Nickname: a nickname they would have or their favorite thing to be called

Definitely not Killjoy - coming for Cid for that comment.

I think Echo would love to be called dear or love. Its basic but he loves the basics and traditions

O is for Organization: are they clean or messy?

I feel like he'd be much more clean, however he's messy sometimes too. He'll keep tabs on everyone and make sure they're doing their part and making sure they're doing their cleaning, but then he'll realise he's super behind on his own. Then the puppy eyes ensue as he begs you to help him with his cleaning and you just can't say no

P is for Pet Peeve: What’s something they absolutely CAN’T stand?

Not exactly a pet peeve, but he cannot handle the silence and there needs to be some sort of noise otherwise he'll feel like he's isolated at Skako Minor again. A lot of the times you have to softly talk to him to make sure he falls asleep, and then you can go to sleep too. It fills you with peace and mind that he'll sleep, and it also helps him sleep

Q is for Quiet: What do they do for peace of mind

He likes to talk about his brothers from Domino. He'll tell you stories about how Hevy slipped during training, how Droidbait got absolutely wrecked by the droids and so on. Talking gives him peace of mind. He just wants to let things go

He hates rain. Mainly because of the whole prosthetic thing but also because of the constant raining on Kamino. He couldn't remember it much though. On stormy days you'd find him and Omega snuggled together, him reading her a book or telling her about clone commands, reciting them from his head like he'd done with his brothers. When Omega would jump because of lightning or thunder Echo would be there to give her a slight squeeze as if to say he's there to protect her

He uses comms a lot, so his main method of contact is talking. He's also just used to that because that's what they did during the clone wars. He avoids using the comm often, but most of the time when he does use it hes either warning everyone, or making sure you're safe

Mentioned it before, but the way he repeats things. Its super cute and he's not aware of it unless someone complains. And it's how he got his name so it's very unique

He would celebrate, I just think you'd be the main initiator. He just needs a little push, because he's still pretty shy. You don't mind it though, you love to dee his confidence grow

His smile. He has the purest smile and it makes you smile, but also fills you with butterflies because of how soft it is. He doesn't smile much, but when he does you savour every moment

X is for Xenia: How they would entertain a guest/show hospitality

He'd very welcoming but on edge. If it were a stranger he'd watch from afar before approaching. The last thing he wants is to make friends and they turn out to be evil. When he does realise they're okay he ends up chatting with them non-stop about things, just random things

Y is for Youth: A fond childhood memory they have

Most likely a time when he was growing up with his brothers in Domino Squad. He doesn't have a specific one but he enjoyed most of the time with his squad

When he sleeps he takes off his prosthetics before just to avoid hurting you. You're the main cuddler, and in the mornings you help him get them back on. He does try his best to cuddle with you. He has his fair share of nightmares caused by things such as the Citadel, but all you need to do is give him a reassuring cuddle and he's back to dreaming

It was a beautiful evening. Y/N had decided to head to the museum to marvel at the 'artifacts'. Well that's what you told yourselves but really you had a massive crush on the gift shopist that worked there.

You walked into the halls and softly lowered your hands into your pockets. The marble walls were illuminated by the slowly darkening sky that was leaking through the open entrance. It was as if light and dark were at war and here was where everything stood still

You were lost in thought before a familiar voice brought you out and back to the real world

"Y/N, is that you?"

You spun around to look over at the gift shop counter, and a smile went across your face. Steven was just standing there waiting for someone to help him out of this pool of boredom he had to endure everyday. You walked over, still smiling.

"Hey Stevie! How's life?"

Steven chuckled softly "Still the same as yesterday"

He scooped up one of the Tawaret plushies and placed it down with a soft smile.

"Today's free souvenir, don't tell Donna or she'll murder me" He let out a small giggle, which caused you to slightly fluster up.

You picked it up and placed it in your bag. You never really understood why exactly he decided to give you something for free everytime you visited, but it was pretty cute to say the least. You looked at him to see him moving some of the things on display around

"So, I'll see you tomorrow Stevie?" You asked smiling

"Probably yeah. Ain't like I'll be anywhere else really" He chuckled softly "I feel like I'm trapped in the duat"

You let out a soft laugh and he laughed too. Both of you being nerds about egyptian mythology meant you could both makes jokes that only you'd understand. You both smiled at one another, your cheeks and his flushing bright red before you looked away.

"I'll see ya tomorrow Y/N" He said, packing up his bag

You chuckled and started walking away. As you did you turned back around and shouted "Laters gators!" To which he responded "In a while crocodile" with a cute dorky smile

You took one step outside, half expecting it to be pitch black because it felt like an eternity with him. You'd always have small talks with him, that you wish would drag on and on, all through the whimsical and harrowing night and into the dawn of day.

You decided you'd head off to the cafe nearby to get a bite to eat. You looked back at the museum smiling and walked away. You knew it would likely be a whole day until you'd see him again.

And you had been right. That night and the rest of the next day went by as if it never happened. And then you found yourself standing on the steps again. You tightened your bag and walked inside.

Once again it was evening, like it had been the days before. Steven looked up from the same counter he worked at and smiled

"Good evening Y/N" He said. Oddly he was a lot more quiet than usual, and he seemed to be slightly stammering over his words. You shrugged it off

"Hiya Stevie!" You exclaimed, happiness filling you to the brim.

He once again picked up one of the souvenirs on display. This time it was a beetle plush and he placed it down. However he'd also made sure to put it onto some piece of paper. You looked at him confused to find him blushing softly before rubbing the back of his neck

"Souvenir time" he said, pushing both the beetle and paper close. You picked up the plush and placed it inside of your bag. You realised you hadn't even taken the Tawaret one out from the day before so you smiled to yourself. You then picked up the piece of paper, turning it around and unfolding it. The folding was a mess. But that was the charm of it.

On the back, in soft scribbled letters (that were obviously rubbed off over and over again), were the words

"Would you go out with me?"

A large smile went across your face as you reread the words over and over again. You looked up at Steven, who, because you had been reading it so much, was now a whole array of emotions. He was lovestruck, nervous, terrified. You'd never seen him like this before.

You smiled and placed the note down, taking out a pen yourself. You wrote on the bottom "yes", before handing the note back. Steven looked down at it and did a little jump, beaming proudly and bashfully. He looked at you and smiled.

You giggled and smiled

"We'll work out the date day, don't you worry" you chuckled

He leant against the counter looking at you, his hands up against his chin "Tomorrow, here, same time?" He asked

You let out a laugh and nodded

"Like normal, same time, we'll get details sorted" You patted his hand and readjusted your bag to your side. You stood up and started walking away. You turned back and heard "Laters gators!" Damn he'd beaten you to it. "In a while crocodile!" You retorted back chuckling.

You walked off. This large feeling of happiness and joy filled you as you walked. You were both in love.
