They don't want us to call what's happening in Gaza a genocide not because there's not been an official ruling but because these things don't get set in people's minds via official ruling. Instead it is the oral history that sets an event into place in mass consciousness.
Us calling it what it is - a genocide - means they can't wriggle out of it in years to come. They can't continue to call it a conflict or a war if we cement it in public consciousness as a genocide.
So don't tone down your language. Call it what it is. Make sure the history books know what happened and the genocides that took place in Palestine, Sudan, Congo.
i think "pirate X media made by a bad person so u dont financially support them" is an awful take tbh and u have missed the point entirely. like yeah dont financially support them in any way u can but also u know that a part of that is also just not engaging with that media right. like u dont have to consume the media made by the transphobes and the homophobes and the racists and the ableists and u can like just keep on living ur life without it. u can do that. like for free. and when the affected groups ask u to not support and engage w that media at all maybe u should listen actually

Gaza is Starving
We have seen Palestinians in Gaza showing us the rotten foods they have resorted to eating, we saw children scooping rainwater in order to drink and some even reported eating grass in order to survive.
This is a direct result of Israel's ongoing violence as it continues to block over 2 million Palestinians from having access to water and food all while indiscriminately bombing their homes, shelters, bakeries and farmlands.
