Exactly! And I don't know if maybe it's the time between the actual episodes coming out that's kinda caused that issue, but watching everything back to back it's hit me a LOT harder how much of a fall she really took.

Especially now that's she's really sunk her claws into being their mom, it just brings out a whole other side to her in general. I mean, we all saw how gentle she was with even Hunter in 'Hollow Minds', the character development up to that point is absolutely insane!

Season 2b has kinda made me forget just how freaking powerful Edalyn Clawthorne really is

The castle is isolated. Literally an island, isolated in the middle of a hole. Just shows how deep the deception goes

I really love how they start off Eda and Luz's relationship in season 2, because both of the dummies are blaming each other for the way the petrification almost went. Luz thinks she's a burden because she started the whole situation and now Eda doesn't have her magic, so she she's herself as responsible, especially after this scene.

Whereas Eda has started to find herself because of Luz and while Luz's actions may have been a catalyst, the Emperor’s Coven had been after her for years. And then Luz went and destroyed her only way home just to save Eda’s life, even when that meant putting her own in danger. As we see later on, Eda is very aware that Luz is just a kid and she doesn't want that kind of pressure to be put on her. To me, she honestly seems shocked that Luz is still blaming herself, but she handles it great.

Luz is basically just a mini Eda at this point

It's official, even with 3 vaccines, I have Covid. I have thankfully been able to go this long without it even with an autoimmune disorder, but all it took was being around the single anti-vaxxer out of 10 employees for one day when she was positive and not telling anyone 🥲 so that The Owl House re-watch is going to go much faster than I expected.
