So, just making sure I didn't miss anything, does Splinter seriously end season 2 by saying "Blue is the leader now" or am I missing something. I've held off watching the last 4 or 5 episodes of season 2 because I'm a baby and didn't want it to be over, and I know they discuss some of the beef between him and raph in the movie, but is there seriously no more explanation on why Splinter makes Leo leader? Because I am so confused rn😂

So, not fandom related, but just general chaos in my daily life. I have a service dog and two cats, all who have fur. So in my apartment, I decided it was a good idea to shampoo my carpet before apartment inspections next week since it could just really use it.

To start it all off, first 2 stores I went to on one side of town were out of rentals. The third store I tried only had the small spot cleaner type available. I tried to look at it from the bright side! It's cheaper, I can rent for 4 hours and get the cleaning solution for cheaper than the original price of the big machine! I rent it, come home, and after getting started, I notice that the handle is jammed and it will constantly spray cleaner/water, so it was hard to thoroughly dry the carpet, but ever the optimist I decided it was fine and to keep going and figure out later. Maybe 8 minutes of attempting to spot clean, I get a bad feeling and turn and look at the machine. And it is pouring smoke.

My carpet is on fire.

Cue me freaking out, turning off and unplugging said machine, and quickly making sure to stamp out whatever flame is still left.

I call the store on the verge of tears, and the lady tries to say there's no way that I only rented it for four hours, they don't do that and don't have that style of machine, but promises a refund when I'm proved wrong about the information with the rental, told me to come tomorrow morning. I marched my happy ass back to the store to find the customer service desk empty.

Once I found a manager, he goes over and makes the lady come out of her office. She had gone against direct instructions from her manager and closed the desk for "staffing" when there were still workers like herself available. Normally I don't care, I get it, but I was exhausted and frustrated. She "forgot" my refund after being exceptionally rude and making nasty comments about my medical alert service dog, and when my eyes started to water, accused me of attention seeking.

But, I got my money back, with no way to suck the water back out of my carpet, so I just got done with 3 hours of drying my carpet by hand with a towel.

TLDR: I'm never owning carpet again.

no such thing as wasting your 20s your 20s are for recovering from whatever the fuck happened to you as a kid so that youre ready to get weird with it in your 30s
