Loving those headcanons regardless where they are from, the pictures and ideas support the general idea very well. I accept them as they are so cool. Oh them being plant-like make sense to honour their origins being from a tree, just imagining touching Shin's true skin and being careful with it or else they get a splinter like how Goku learned hahaha. Roots as veins. Oh yeah, yes, outside of their disguise, depending their age and the universe's health/mortal level, they could have long hair containing leaves and branches and maybe some fruits that can be contribute to their natural fragrance. I wonder if one of the kaioshins might have a cherry blossom and/or plum blossom as their hair, a magnificent exquisite sight. and sometimes some petals fall down from their head. Ah yes, Shin, the meow meow, he would be really down for pets, pats and being praised (and maybe spoiled) like how cat owners do to their cats haha, also he needs it considering his circumstances. May his circumstances will be happen soon. But it is better that Beerus and Shin stay from the catnip because whilst Beerus is actually affected by it, Shin got a placebo effect (not actually affected by the catnip but acts like it). It is interesting that Black is implusive and the transition from shinjin to a mortal, a warrior race nonetheless, it is worth exploring further and what is the transition like. Would Black accepts these risks eventually for that strength and power he craves so desperately but then again he found Zamasu, meaning by fusion with Zamasu, there is that relief and familarity of a shinjin body and essence. Black would not like his body being noisy in terms of functions compared to a shinjin body but whenever he raises his ki like those saiyans, he falls into those saiyan instincts that he really become a Saiyan to a horror and I dare to say, a delight to Vegeta and Goku. The real form of Kaioshins (and Shijins) from their Kai World is the "living tree/shrub" that is, and is a plant-like creature(it's like a divine dryad????) and they each smell different (+ headcanon that they give off fruity cocktail/alcohol flavors. Changing their scents is literally like communicating through pheromones)

Since they have an aptitude for magic and controlling Ki, they create humanoid disguises for themselves when encountering humans. They are capable of changing physical form, and they can also change the texture of their skin when their sheer number of branches and vines are able to gather into a single humanoid being. So if you wanted to touch Shin, for example before you knew he wasn't just a magical dude, he can soften his skin for touching, because it basically feels like tree bark for the most part. They are literally and figuratively made up of vines, roots, and "dirt".

And I'm thinking about the fact that outside of the disguise, their hair is some sort of down? Or is it leaves/soft petals of something for example.

I do as Black has to get used to the human body and its physiology before he meets Zamasu. He now has a skeleton and muscle structure, he must remember to breathe or he will suffocate, he must remember to consume real food because he won't live on tea alone. Apart from the exchange of mind and body, he has not thought that deep and far. He is disgusted by the thought of having internal organs, and that he has lost his "tree dryad" powers. He discovers the animalistic nature of Saiyan and the superpowers of the body that now belong to him. He allows himself animalistic madness, a tail (he has one!) as a third limb. He has predator fangs, he bites, and can bite off chunks, he uses it all to the max during the battle with Trunks, Vegeta, and Goku.

I feel like one of the best ways to describe Hades/Kanon to begin with is that, both parties are trying to manipulate one another, like crazy. Even though they aren't on equal grounds, by any sense of the word (Kanon doesn't believe [or is unable to comprehend] nor learns the fact that the hot goth guy, he has been having flings with, truly is what he says. Whereas Hades has been threading his fate to disasters, since day 1.). They are both constantly going at each other's throats.

And despite this tomutouls and convoluted bond. Hades still is the only one who offered Kanon, any resemblance of comfort and affection (prior to the relationship falling apart, Saga was the only one who brought him any form of solace. [Hi, I don't subscribe to the fanons about Shion taking the mantle of good dadTM to the twins]), during a period in his life where he practically only had himself. He kept seeking him out, he knows very well they were far from being anything genuine. It's hollow, it's an act.

But, amidst his ignorance (and perhaps desperation, out of his loneliness for so long], Kanon felt like he could lower his guard while in Hades' arms.
