Sam without a soul is damn near silent during sex; so much so that Dean gets worried and stops, bringing a hand up to his face. “Hey, are you okay? I’m not hurting you, am I?”

“The condom is making me itch,” Sam confesses. “It’s a little uncomfortable. I’ve been trying to hold still, but –”

Dean’s eyes widen. “Jesus, Sam!” He pulls put slowly and yeah - his little brother’s skin is red and irritated between his legs. “Why didn’t you –”

“It felt good for the most part and I didn’t want to interrupt.” He squirms. “It only started bothering me after Hell - wasn’t allergic before that.” He pauses, licking his lips. “You can - Dean, you can take me bare, if you want.”

Dean nearly blows his goddamn load.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Dean’s voice is serious and gentle as he lightly strokes the insides of Sam’s thighs, kneeling between his legs, eyes scanning over that soft, familiar face.

Sam would be lying if he said that he doesn’t have second thoughts. He knows he can back out at any time, but honestly…he doesn’t want to. He needs this - God, he’s needed this for so long.Things just haven’t been the same since he came back from Hell - soulless - and he wants them to be. Even if hedoesn’t fucking understand it.

He doesn’t understand the clawing need in his chest, but he wants Dean to do this. He wants to feel something again, even if it’s just a hint of pleasure. “Yeah,” he says, huffing out a soft breath. “Yeah, I do. Dean, I just —” I want you to love me like before, so I’m offering my body to you as a bargaining chip.

Dean simply nods, maybe even understanding the meaning behind Sam’s words. Things have been strained between them. And he’ll admit that, yeah, he’s to blame for a lot of that. His brother has been reaching out for help since they met up again, and he’s done nothing but shove him away. Now is the time to make amends, and since they’re Winchesters, that means expressing themselves physically.
