Thought Process

I found my supervisor's credit card in the pocket of my purse today... I found myself asking myself very distinct questions to figure out what this mystery card was.

Why is this card in this pocket?

Why is this card gold?

What is this card?

This card is not mine. I should probably return it...

Afterward, I realized that I'm happy that I have very a very logical and clear method to understanding myself. It would make things more difficult if the process went something more along the lines of:

Oh look, new card.

I wonder how much stuff I can buy with this.

Why's my name spelled completely wrong?  Don't care!

BOOKS!

Then again... I'd have a lot more books to read and probably some sort of fine/arrest for using her card without her permission after probably spending hundreds of dollars on all the books I've been putting off buying...

Had they known, they would've never played the practical joke on Ted in the first place. (Also the most uncomfortable set of soft boiled eggs I've ever eaten...)
