Today marks one month since I've started this account, which is by no means anything incredible – but I just wanted to say something real quick.

I had tried holding an account on other social media platforms before but I felt anxious and it died out quickly. I'm a very insecure person so it took me a lot of convincing myself before starting this account too. I was sure no one but maybe a couple of people were even gonna notice me, and instead I've been getting WAY more interactions than I ever thought!

This time, I'm actually having fun posting stuff, interacting with people and such. Whether this is thanks to tumblr itself or the TSH fandom specifically I'm not sure, but it doesn't change the fact that I really do feel comfortable and I've been having a great time!

It's the first time I'm just about confident enough to let my art and my random thoughts be seen by people I don't know irl, and even just a few notes of people liking something I've written or drawn, or even finding it nice enough for it to be SHARED with other people is mind blowing to me. Every single notification I get really does make my day!

I realize it sounds cheesy but I still had to take this off my chest lol because I really mean it. Not sure anyone is even actually going to read it but it's okay, it was mostly for myself, I guess. Thank you!!! 🌻

The Secret History Character Study One Shots

Okay so I’ve been using this book for writing practice and characterization for the past few months. So far I have 3 stories all focusing on Richard and another character. There’s a Charles-centric one (alternate ending thing), a Henry-centric one (Henry learns about Richard’s father), and a Francis-centric one (a sick fic involving his backstory). I’m thinking up ideas for Bunny and Camilla. Then I might revisit Charles since his is the only one still in Richard’s POV.

I just decided to turn these things into a series on AO3 so they’re easy to link. I’ll put that here:

(If I really enjoy this enough to keep going I may try using characters like Judy and Julian. We shall see)
