After an incident last night, I was reminded of why I’m somewhat hesitant to ever have children one day…

Not because it affected me personally, but because middle schoolers can be EXTREMELY disrespectful and unaware of their surroundings. Like… HELLO?! DO YOU NOT SEE THAT YOU’RE IN A DINING ROOM FULL OF REALLY LITTLE KIDS, AND THE ELDERLY?! SHOW SOME FUCKING RESPECT!!

You do NOT get to talk like that inside MY restaurant, and expect there to be no consequences. Not only were they being obnoxious, but I also just found out that one of my subordinate’s bikes was stolen so the police were called… -_-

I’m usually not a, “this is a hill I will die on regarding this fictional character” sort of person. But one hill I SHALL die on is that Mey-Rin is no longer potty about Sebastian.

If you notice, she isn’t half as flustered by him or still pining for him by the time we’re in the midst of the Luxury Liner Arc. I like to think that whilst she was initially infatuated with him, that changes to an, “I really admire him and want to be as good at what I do as he is” sort of thing.

She also probably developed a crush on him as he was one of the few men who showed her genuine kindness in his own way (teaching her how to read, getting her settled into the manor, offering her a job and thus refuge). He’s also assumed the form of an unfairly pretty man, which explains why quite a few women would react that way to him, lol.

Even though I don’t find him half as sexy anymore, I do get it.

I’m personally not a Sebamey shipper not just because it’d end badly in canon, but also because I just… couldn’t get myself to have strong feelings about the pairing in general, lol. But I don’t mind it and I’ll still read fics I chance upon that seem fun, even if I don’t actively look for Sebamey stuff.

Once again, these are just my two cents, lol. Mey-Rin only deserves the best of the best. 😉
