Burdened With The Knowledge That Bards As A Profession Have Celtic Origins And Given That The Witcher
Burdened with the knowledge that bards as a profession have celtic origins and given that The Witcher is set in the 1200's when this would still be true it means Dandelion himself is probably either of celtic birth or education but nobody outside of me probably gives a fuck about that [he also operates more like a celtic bard than a modern one we won't get into all that though] basically what I'm saying is that Dandelion is Welsh to me thank you for listening

One thing about me is that I love a tradgedy.
I love when characters are doomed by the narrative & I love even more when they're trying so desperately to avoid it and that in the end they are helpess to it or actively unknowingly walk into it.
Dandelion, Geralt and Yennefer are all the type of people who change their answer whenever you ask what their birthday is. Geralt genuinely doesn't remember so just goes with whatever pops into his head at the time, Yennefer's answers are always sarcastic bullshit ["I was born when the fox crossed the moon that's why my eyes are like this obviously"] and Dandelion just doesn't want anyone knowing any clear details about his life so he lies through his teeth every single time

Doodles of me trying (emphasis on trying) to make jaskier’s clothes more book accurate. I also referenced a lot of 15th century Italian clothing since they’re very colorful.
Most important thing about Dandelion is that he's so pathetic and yet so ride or die for his mates and secretly much more competant than you think and yet he also has the vibe of a guy who'd get out of a fight by pulling the "I'M JUST A LITTLE GUY I'M JUST A LITTLE BIRTHDAY BOY" routine and it would work 90% of the time
god i love when poems !!!!!!!!!
