It Does My Head In How Some People Assume That The Reason They Don't Suffer From Any Kind Of Mental Health

It does my head in how some people assume that the reason they don't suffer from any kind of mental health issues is because they lead a really healthy lifestyle. It comes with this assumption that anyone who is suffering is somehow doing something wrong, or not trying hard enough. Let me tell you you talk to somebody for example who's suffered from depression for most of their life and you dare to ask something as stupid as "have you tried eating healthily" the answer will obviously be yes. That and literally everything else under the sun that could help probably. The fact is if you don't suffer from these things that's great! Good for you, you don't have depression, you don't have anxiety, you don't have a sleep problem. Add it to your CV. make yourself a congratulatory cup of coffee, I would but the caffeine would keep me up for days. DON'T assume that you know better about somebody's illness than somebody who's been living through it for their entire life.
