Jimin fans, how are we doing the past few days? We are being fed SO WELL this March. We got a Tiffany ambassadorship, a OTS dance challenge with Hobi, fried chicken, a wlive with a marimo moss ball, covers from Vogue, a Face mood photo, and now manspreading for Suga's bday!! There's still so much more to look forward to!

I had to wait until I got home from work (torture) yesterday to digest the mood photo. First off, let me go off on how AMAZING he looks and I can't even see his face for an album named 'Face'! 😆 I'm obsessed with the taper of his shoulders to his narrow waist. Jimin is unreal. I have never seen such a beautiful man before. He's got it all: Looks, talent, and brains.

Jimin's a genius and he's playing 4D chess with us. His album logo is gray/silver and rose gold. His 'Behind the Face' video started in grayscale before switching to color. His wlive started in grayscale before switching to color. His mood photo is also in grayscale. His Hardware vs Software photos will probably follow the same theme.

The mood photo was definitely not what I was expecting but evoked a lot of feelings in me like sadness, melancholy, and hope. It's not something that makes you think of a happy, kpoppy dance track. The photo looks like he's in an abandoned home. Maybe he's packing and moving out. What is he leaving behind? His past? He mentioned several times that part of the album-making process was having to dredge up old emotions and that wasn't fun or easy. The theme of his album is a 'circle of resonance', reflections of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds. That scares me because you know he's gone through some pretty serious stuff, from antis to death threats, to feeling lonely and lacking self-confidence.

How do the water drop and ripples play into this? I have no clue. Water has so many interpretations. You can see reflections in the water. There could be turbulence beneath the surface of the water. Water embodies the circle of resonance. Honestly, you can go hundreds of directions with water analogies, spend too much time on them, and go nowhere.

In the W Korea Q&A video, Jimin was so unserious and adorable, and he kept cracking the staff up in between photos. You can tell he's got everyone wrapped around his finger. He leaves a trail of enamored fans wherever he goes. He's got Donatella Versace liking the Instagram post announcing his Ambassadorship for Dior. He's got people at Dior and Tiffany liking a video of him crying over fried chicken and ramen. He's on so many covers and news articles that I've lost track of them all.

And you know what he does with all this fame and attention? He spends time on Weverse with his fans and plays with Legos and moss balls and talk about the work the other members are doing 🥹 How can you not love him?
