𝑻𝒉𝒆 12 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒔 — 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔

I'm no astrologer, just an amateur, so I base this post on these astrology websites: (x.x). If you're really interested in correct astrology, I recommend reading the full sources, as this is only a summary. Reading the sources helped me gain a greater understanding too :).

I often read about only a limited amount of the 12 houses' meanings on tumblr, so I feel like there's a lot that goes unnoticed, even though it helps to understand a lot of things in astrology better. I think it might expand the horizon of interpretations for each placement. This post deals with the lesser known meanings of each house, so you likely won't find the commonly stated meanings here. I know I'm not contributing anything new in this post, but still, I think it's worth spreading the other original meanings of each house further. I'm in no way criticising any astrologers on tumblr with this post, by the way!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Astro.com mentions the temperament, as well as the instinctive reactions, which I haven't often seen elsewhere. Astrology.com also talks about one's approach to life in connection to the 1st house, and early childhood. The latter can be explained by the first house representing new beginnings, just like early childhood marking a beginning.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

The relationship to the own physical body is part of the second house. Furthermore, the sense of self worth and value are points that needs to be mentioned more. Value entails physical possessions, but also everything else we value, and how or why we value it. Intangible possessions are mentioned on astrology.com too, such as one's emotions, needs, abilities, wants, etc.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Neighbours, short trips, our environment, intelligence as a "practical sensibility" and "analytical ability", conscious thinking, mental and/or symbiotic connection to others, siblings and relationships of the everyday life are all mentioned in my chosen sources, but not talked about often, concerning the 3rd house. I also recall reading that this house rules cousins, but I'm not sure and have no source to prove it.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Your origins, circumstances and parental home are listed on astro.com, as well as youth (not only the childhood!). The father is mentioned here too. Now this is my own interpretation, but I think it might just mean father figure, since the father does not always play a role in everyone's life and not everyone even has a father. My second source brings one's roots and foundation into the picture, as well as old age and endings. Home, wich is associated with the 4th house as well, is described as a psychical place here too. I personally think it might also mean the soul's home or inner core? It is only a guess. (Family)history/ancestry, cultural and societal norms, and heritage are added to the list too. Parents or nurturing figures (not just a mother) are mentioned, as well as real estate and traditions.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Procreation, emotional satisfaction and enrichment, gambling, games, playing, hobbies, arts and culture — I don't see people talking about these matters of the 5th house that much, yet they apparently belong to it. To be fair, most of the 5th house matters are often described, though.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Besides the commonly mentioned routines, service, work, etc., this house rules over (bodily) hygiene, the circumstances surrounding us in our daily lives, dealings of daily life, our behaviour towards subordinates or employment in general, training, and how we deal with shortcomings. Astrology.com explains it quite illustratively, and even though houses and signs are not congruent, I personally think the text points out what virgo energy is aiming towards.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Partnership or contracts are not the only themes of this house — cooperation and relating in general are 7th house topics too. Union and contributing as a team for a purpose are key themes, as well as purpose on its own. The achievement for oneself, a partnership or society. This does not only entail love or work, but also creating together to contribute. Again, this one is a personal thought I'm adding, but I think maybe reaching agreements falls under this sign's rulership too. Anyway, a lot of these themes remind me of the 11th house and vice versa.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Apart from the usually mentioned 8th house topics, it also governs communal goods, taxes, how we deal with material loss, how we interact in relationships and our legacy. But I feel like the 'new beginnings' part — the (often) bright part — of the 8th house needs to be more recognised too. For example, by reflecting on a habit and noticing it's not beneficial, we can decide to change the habit and replace it with something constructive. This means renewal and a new beginning. A habit is not necessarily only part of our own world, but it can affect other people too (e.g.: if you work out you might become fitter and can help a friend with carrying their heavy boxes), which makes it communal. Shared resources like emotional support are also an 8th house topic.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Our ideals, publishing, import/export, grandchildren, in-laws, the quest for gaining understanding, spirituality and (if I understood it correctly) how we deal with the unknown, are themes of the 9th house. This house additionally entails the relation between members of a society. I think the vague term 'expansion' means, amongst other things, gaining or adding understanding and meaning to oneself and the world, and deriving value from the unknown, for example through learning about foreign concepts. The themes I mentioned above also highlight examples of expansion (e.g. publishing = spreading something to the masses). The 9th house also has a multigererational focus. Astro.com explains that the views shaped from this house influence the 10th house.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

The 10th house does not only point to our career, status, fame or reputation. 10th house topics are also: the mother or an authoritarian parent (not everyone has a mother), one's role in the community, social activities, vocation, ambitions, motivation, employers' rules, organisations and authority. Vocation is a kind of selfless theme, relating to the societal context of the 10th house, as it has little to do with the ego, and more with leaving an impact outside of oneself. Astrology.com hints that success can at times be achieved with the help of society, and that the relationship between an individual and society is part of the 10th house too. In my mind, this also gives the 10th house a symbiotic character.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Most of the time I read about this house in correlation to friendships, groups and technology. However, that's not all there is to it. It also includes stepchildren, foster children, adopted children, how we relate to society or teachers and benefactors, and in which ways we would fill these roles, clubs, social groups and organisations, as well as our activies in and impact resulting from these groups. Collective strength or collective creation are keywords often used to describe this house on astrology.com. Opportunities and possibilities are also apparently included in the 11th house themes, as well as adding meaning to our lives and society (similar to the 9th house). What we want to achieve plays a part here as well (similar to the 10th house — I figure this shows that the houses are consecutive). I think it's interesting to know that this house does not only show which kinds of people are our ideal friends, but also what kind of friend we are.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

'Self-undoing' is a very vague term, from my point of view, and institutions such as hospitals aren't the only thing this house governs either. The 12th house deals with selflessness, outside of individual matters. Monasteries and retreats are ruled by this house too, just like charity, how we move forward from the past and positive transformation. To be honest, I usually see most of this house's themes mentioned in astrology.

THE VERTEX/ANTIVERTEX IN ASTROLOGY

N.B. I use the sidereal zodiac and my content should be used as a reference/framework to understanding and working with your sidereal chart.

The Vertex is a point located in the western hemisphere of a chart (the right-hand side) that represents the intersection of the ecliptic and the prime vertical. In astrology, it is considered an auxiliary Descendant. The Anti-Vertex is the point that is exactly opposite the Vertex, and can even be seen as an auxiliary Ascendant. Some astrologers refer to the Vertex as the “third angle” of a chart. 

The Vertex represents what we need to develop and fulfil within our personality; it is what needs to be integrated. Failure to integrate it leads to overemphasis on the traits of the Antivertex, and cause a psychological gap/identity complex in the personality. This is because the Vertex is something, similar to the North Node, we know we need to fulfil; but the Vertex, unlike the North Node, is not something we are compelled towards. It’s something we’d rather avoid completely (as is the Descendant, our shadow side, where it’s often found). The Vertex is said to be particularly important in synastry (relationship astrology), as it’s deemed a fated point that draws people together.

Vertex - integration, psychological development (The Vertex is seen as an auxiliary Descendant. In that sense, it tends to represent another shadow side; sometimes it is often found in the same sign as the Descendant, in the 7th house, and the two go hand in hand together. Whether it’s in the 7th house or not, the Vertex represents a shadow side; a part of us that we haven’t properly developed psychologically. The Vertex is said to be about what people expect of us or want us to do in this life. The aspects the Vertex makes are said to be particularly indicative of areas of life where we need to be more conscious and where we will face certain issues. We are required to psychologically develop this part of us so we become integrated. Not doing so often leads us to feeling as though there’s a gap in our personality, that we’re stunted in some way.)

Antivertex - default mechanisms, easy way out (The Antivertex is the opposite point of the Vertex; it represents our default behaviour. There are a few things in the chart that represent default behaviour; they are the Ascendant, the South Node, and the Antivertex. They differ in terms of what they are but they all share a common theme of behaviours we regress to, versus their opposite points that represent behaviours we need to integrate into ourselves, our ‘shadow’. The Antivertex represents what we may fall back on, where we take the easy way out, our default mechanisms. It is often in the same sign as the Ascendant, and for those of us who do have that, our identity and how we act (Ascendant) is in line with our natural default mechanisms, and how we take the easy way out. But the Antivertex is not a point of growth; that would be the opposite point, the Vertex. Like the Ascendant/Descendant axis, the Vertex and Antivertex are on an axis and always interpreted together; where does a person default to, but what do they actually need to face/develop?)

Use and meaning of the Vertex in astrology is debated; those who use the Vertex generally feel it is a point of karmic or fated connection. Some consider it a point of “wish fulfillment.” It is widely used in synastry. The Vertex is said to be activated at major turning points in our lives, most notably when we meet a significant other or end a significant relationship, and some believe it is triggered when there is a birth or death.

♇ those with venus in virgo struggle with finding their true self, thus their need for perfection in themselves and other people. they have to learn to become less controlling and be pleased and grateful for the things and people in their lives.

MARS ⟶ CANCER.

♇ those with mars in cancer struggle with being assured, always double-backing or stalling in projects they can thrive in. always thinking what they give is the worst, paranoia strikes for cancer martians, so they become dependent to other people to make them confident, finding their individuality is a big theme in their life.

JUPITER ⟶ CAPRICORN.

♇ individuals with jupiter in capricorn normally do have it better than most capricorn in planet placements as jupiter gives it a great boost, however as it is in fall, capricorn jupiter natives learn to be people who build their foundations from the start to the top, having to be people who had to become responsible and serious at a young age, most of their childhood might've been taken away from them, so people with this placement learn to have fun with childhood nostalgia that might've been taken away from them.

SATURN ⟶ ARIES.

PLUTO ⟶ LIBRA.

♇ individuals with pluto in libra learn to be people who dont need chaos in their life, learning that being negative is really draining. they then become people who allow life to carry them, being non-confrontational with disasters that happen in front of them, unfortunately this sometimes causes them to be people who do nothing in their life. howbeit, this can manifest into them being people who take control, being leaders, politics and humanitarians, they're a huge force and people can end up fearing/respecting it.

Profection years

Profection Years represent the themes in the house you will be facing as well as the planets associated with the signs in the houses. REMEMBER planets within these houses also represent whether the manifestations will be positive or negative (also aspects). I will be speaking mostly positive manifestations to avoid freaking anyone out:)

Ascendent: ages 0, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72...

The transformation in these years are closely tied to your identity. These years may also feel like you are starting over in some way, perhaps you are being too clingy with things that are not meant to be and will be forced to let go (you were supposed to do this in the 12th house but whatever you'll learn). A new you is reborn and you will be reintroducing yourself to those around you!

The rising sign is an indicator of what your year may hold for you (planet associated too!)

ex. Virgo rising may really lean into a more polished looking appearance. attention to detail and being a bit of a perfectionist in the work you do. You may be highly critical of yourself and others. Planet- Mercury will be activated this year. Perhaps you will incorporate more professional language depending on the profession you are in.

2nd House: ages 1, 13, 25, 37, 49, 61, 73...

These years are focused on your assets and values related to the self. (ascendent profection years is more superficial and based on others opinion/the mask you show others ex. work persona). Your material possessions and your ability to provide for yourself.

ex. Scorpio in the 2nd house. Can be going through a more secretive transition related to how you make your money. May be doing a more taboo profession or conflict may arise due to scorpio being associated with pluto and mars (also darker/obsessive tendencies with your things/self....like astrology/the occult)

3rd House: ages 2, 14, 26, 38, 50, 62, 74...

More active years; heavier emphasis on your siblings and neighborhood. Changes to your thought patterns and communication. More activity in your day to day life such as traveling or commuting somewhere.

ex. Libra in the 3rd house would be feeling more codependent on their siblings/neighbors and vice versa. Can have run ins with the law (parking/speeding tickets... also being able to get out of them bc of your charm:). More activity in your romantic and business partnerships! (Flirting with everyone bc why not??). Venus will be on your side during this year.

4th House: ages 3, 15, 27, 39, 51, 63, 75...

Family and the foundation you stand on will be heavy on your mind. What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? How can I be more involved in my family? How is my relationship with my mom affecting me? Childhood themes may also come up. Revisiting certain memories or places associated with childhood.

ex. Leo in the 4th house would hold more emphasis on adding flair to their home; More self expression towards their family and with their mom. The sun would be activated and a perpetual spotlight would follow you making you stand out ESPECIALLY with your family (being the talk of their family bc their mom can't help but brag about an accomplishment you made this year).

5th House: ages 4, 16, 28, 40, 52, 64, 76...

This profection year can really help tap into a more creative side of yourself. Perhaps you become more into a hobby you've been wanting to do. More excitement in your dating life relationships/ going out more with friends. pets are also a theme.

ex. Gemini in the 5th house would have soooo much to talk about with people (beware of gossiping). More fun with your siblings or you could be involved in communicating with kids in some capacity (You are a part of an after school program for elementary aged kids). Mercury would be activated.

6th House: ages 5, 17, 29, 41, 53, 65, 77...

These years pertain to your health/daily routine/every day work habits. Perhaps you want to incorporate a new diet or get more into a fitness routine.

Ex. Pisces in the 6th house may incorporate a ritual of some sort. Manifestation practices/protection spell work/reading scriptures from a religious text. Neptune will be activated this year so movies can be an inspiration for change to your life (beware of being mislead, neptune=planet of illusions ; you join a pyramid scheme lol). Jupiter is the traditional ruler. May bring random good luck within your daily life.

7th House: ages 6, 18, 30, 42, 54, 66, 78..

The 12th house is kind of the final chapter to karmic cycles. You go through a sort of ego death in this house. Depending on your attachment to things in your life will really let you know whether this year will be easy for you or not. Also have you been ignoring something or pushing a serious topic off in hopes it will dissipate into fine dust? Well, this year will bring your subconscious thoughts to life as well as influence your sleep and dreams. Isolation can manifest in different ways (working nights, hospital, prison, sleep disorders). Think of this year as the final test/ palette cleanser to all of the years prior.

ex. Taurus in the 12th (hehe how interesting:) the fixed sign will have no choice but to face the changes that have been inevitable. Hello! It depends honestly on what you’re looking at in your chart. Each Lilith has a different meaning. Each Lilith encompasses a certain meaning. 

H13 or “True Black Moon Lilith” (Osculating) and H21 or “Mean Black Moon Lilith”: These typically deal with the sexual empowerment traits of Lilith. It also deals with temptation, vengeance, things that are forbidden, seduction, psychedelic drugs, destruction, glamour, charisma, hypnotism, altered state, radical femininity, and obsession. This Lilith deals with our obsessions and our addictions. It also deals with our subconscious and our sexual energy. As well as our wants and needs. H21 is the most commonly used Lilith. 

Asteroid Lilith or 1181: This Lilith is the only tangible celestial object, and people typically have an easier time connecting to this one. This asteroid deals with refusal, non-compromise, repressed anger, personal independence, fight or flight, involvement in freedom movements, and fleeing one’s oppressor. 

H58 or Dark Moon Lilith: This Lilith deals with internal conflict, the need to meet our demons, our shadow selves, trauma, fantasies of rage and retaliation, working through feelings of shame, and distorted thinking. It’s associated with our darkest and lowest vibrations and how we act during our worst times. 

So I’d say use the one that you connect to the most or the one that you personally want to look into in regards to those traits. If you connect more to your H58 Lilith than your Asteroid Lilith then use that. I personally use all of them, but that’s your decision. Hope this helps!

I got a lot of stellium related messages, so here it is. I have a 6 planets 1st house stellium, so I have a lot to say.

☆ Stelliums are a very controversial topic, as each astrologer has their own way of interpreting it. However, essentially a stellium is a focus on a certain sign or house in a chart. Some astrologers believe that 3 or more planets makes a stellium, whilst some believe 4 or more planets. I tend to go with the 3 or more planets stellium interpretation. However, I personally do not interpret asteroids or angles (asc,dc,mc,ic) as being part of a stellium and mostly focus on planets, but it really does depend on the dynamic of each chart.

☆ A stellium is much stronger if it happens between personal planets (sun-mars) or if it's a combination of personal planets and generational planets (saturn-pluto) and if the planets are in strong conjunctions. The closer to each other and the more planets, the more focused and rare the chart is.

☆ Any planet or sign that is part of this stellium will be a significant one in this person's journey. So if someone has a 2nd house stellium involving the sun, moon and mercury - then houses in which they have leo, cancer and gemini/virgo will have a focus for them as well.

☆ If not cared for enough, a stellium can turn into an obsession of a person on that particular sign's energy or house energy. That is why, it's important to find ways in which you balance the energy of your stellium and this usually works through implementing more of the opposite house's and sign's energy into your life.

It’s very common for people who have 6th house placements to want to work in the healthcare industry. So many 6th housers go on to be personal trainers, nutritionists, nurses, doctors etc..

Keep an eye out for your Chiron transits! Especially if transit Chiron is making a conjunction to one of your personal planets! This is a time in which you are likely going to be healing the area of life that is related to the planet that Chiron is aspecting. For example, transit Chiron making a conjunction to your natal moon can suggest a time in which you are healing your “mommy wound” or any emotional trauma that you may have. Whereas, transit Chiron making a conjunction to your natal Venus can suggest healing wounds that are related to your values, sense of self-worth, romantic relationships, and your self-image.

This is very fascinating but I’ve realized that many Sagittarius moons have mothers who immigrated! Their moms are often from a different culture or ethnicity to their fathers. Alternatively, it could just mean that their mothers changed their place of residence quite frequently in their lives.

In a composite chart, couples who have 8th house or 12th house stelliums tend to be VERY private about their relationship. I’ve seen couples with planets in the 12th house get shocked responses from others when they tell them that they’ve been together for years. People don’t even know these two are together half of the time.

It’s so so important to study each persons individual charts when looking at synastry! If someone is mercurial they will likely enjoy 3rd and 6th house overlays. But some people will tell you that because there’s no 12th house, or 8th house synastry the relationship will be bland. This is NOT true! Not everyone is comfortable with the intensity that comes with 8th house or 12th house synastry. People who are Plutonian or have a lot of Neptune influence in their charts thrive in that kind of synastry. However, someone who is Saturnian or even mercurial will prefer having 10th, 3rd, 11th, and 6th house overlays. Don’t let people fool you into saying your relationship is dull because your synastry is not intense. Different strokes for different folks! LITERALLY lol!

Another note on house overlays, 7th house overlays represent long-term relationships, but it’s also the house of open enemies as I mentioned in another post. So, more often than not, you can be head over heels in love with someone you have 7th house synastry, only to REALLY dislike them when the relationship is over. In all honestly, people with heavy 7th, 8th, and 12th house synastry together rarely end the relationship on good terms.

The angles (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) houses are the most difficult houses to have your Chiron placed, as these are very visible houses. If the ruler of your ascendant falls into a sign that’s in its detriment or fall, life has likely not been easy for you, and you likely have had to overcome challenge after challenge. An example being, let’s say you have a Capricorn rising, your chart ruler is Saturn. If your natal Saturn is in Aries, it is in the signs of its fall. Nevertheless, people who have their chart ruler in the sign of its fall or detriment are often very persevering.

I know most people associate Jupiter in the 1st house with people who struggle with their weight. However, I’ve seen this also occur with people who have Jupiter in the 6th. People who have Cancer in the 1st or 6th also tend to have weight that fluctuates quite frequently.

Chiron conjunct South Node/opposite North Node is quite a difficult placement to have. This suggests that you have past life trauma that holds you back in this life. It’s not to say you can’t overcome it, because you absolutely can. But there are some deeply ingrained traumas that exist in your psyche and your subconscious. In this life, you are being called to let all that trauma from your past life go, and to fully heal. You may find that you overly identify as someone who is “wounded” or broken in some way.

The 4th house also represents the conditions/circumstances at the end of life. Charts explained

Natal chart: or as some of you know a birth chart, is literally a blue print of the sky in moment you took your first breath of air, this is why the timing is really important. From a natal chart you can find the personality base structure that you have, how you deal emotional wise, what kind of career you are more suitable to follow, which are the key point in your life, your karmic debts and so on.

Solar return chart: this chart is made 1 per year, is to illustrate the focus area of that year in your life. It’s made exactly on your birthday; the calculation is made base on when the Sun returns to the exact point as your natal chart. Can indicate key point of that year for you, in your love life, career, health, kid etc.

Transit planets chart: this shows how every planet moves every time through your chart and which area of life those planets activate. As an example, if you are a Leo Sun in the 4th house, when the upcoming Full Moon will come will activate 4th house theme in your life at that moment (a.k.a home, family, emotions, ancestry etc)

Progressed chart: this type of chart is another type of predictive chart that astrologers use, this chart shows how you personally evolve over time. The calculation for this chart is that it moves your natal chart forward. In progress every day after birth is equivalent to 1 year of life.

Synastry chart: This type of chart is made between 2 persons (can be romantic, family, friendship or business partners). Here we can understand how to persons chart interact with each other, where do they agree, where they don’t, are they attracted to each other, are they just friends. We can see here where our hidden enemies are as well or when someone doesn’t necessarily want us in their life. We can see here, soulmates, twin flame, karmic relationships, dharmic relationship and so on. Also, what kind of past life we had with that person.

Composite chart: This chart is calculating the mid-points of 2 charts. Here we can see where this relationship is going, is supposed to be short lived, is it a long-lasting partnership. Do you and the other person have a common goal, is this relationship better just for one of the partners. Usually, this chart is interpreted in comparation with both natal chart and the synastry chart. THE DARK FEMININE IN ASTROLOGY : LILITH, VENUS, MOON, 4TH/8TH/12TH HOUSE, SATURN

These observations are my own. Keep in mind that placements can have lots of meanings. Now we are exploring the planets/houses through the prism of the dark feminine.

Lilith

The Goddess who never submitted. Lilith is a biblical figure. The first wife of Adam who was made by God to be a counterpart for him. She was not like Eve. Lilith joined Lucifer. She did not want to only be Adam's wife but something more. Lilith is the wild woman, she is our hidden sensual pleasure. She is the keeper of our sexuality, ambition and guilty pleasure. She shows us what we need, not just what we want. More primal, raw and unfiltered. Her sign and placement show us where we like to be naughty trendsetters and where we feel comfortable expressing our sexuality and dark feminine. A Lilith in Aquarius placed in the 4th house shows a person who explores their sensuality behind closed doors. They like the privacy of their own home (4th) and may want to experiment with crazy things (Aquarius). This person could be a case of lady/shy in the streets and crazy in the sheets. Similar to a siren this person lures people in the depths of their ocean and shocks them by their unorthodox ways.

Venus

Awww dear Venus. Our sweet and dainty side. NO. Venus also shows us what type of masculine archetype we like but also who we want to be dominated by. This is the part of the dark feminine we overlook sometimes. Venus in Aries feminine energies attracted to masculine energies can crave dominance in a very primal way and with a tiny bit of pain from more traditionally masculine men (I don't judge, trust me. My Venus is here 😉). I've also noticed this placement likes men in uniforms and "Mafia Boss" types. Venus in Scorpio may want a deep, mysterious and hidden lover. It does not mean we attract males with those qualities or of that sign, it mostly means we like those characteristics. Mars shows more what type of men we attract without trying but that's for another post.

Moon

This is the sweet side of the feminine but can also show what lies beneath and unconsciously seductive qualities. Like Cancer Moon, can attract masculines through their nurturing nature, big heart 😉 (and boobs) , intuitive insights and innocent/baby looks.

Saturn

This may surprise you but Saturn can assist us in figuring out parts of our femininity that have been hidden, shamed and repressed by the masculine. Saturn is the "father". It could even represent internalised misogyny.In Greek Mythology he was Kronos (chronos/χρόνος=time), the father of the gods who ate his own children so they wouldn't take away his power. He was overturned by his son Jupiter/Zeus. Saturn in Libra in the 2nd house could symbolise being shamed by others because we like to own feminine things, like a lot of cosmetics or repressing our more feminine values and our love for women/feminine beauty etc.

4th House

It can show what hides until we are comfortable. The protective cocoon. Similarly to the moon it is our deeper emotional abilities and a part of our dark feminine we intentionally hide from others but are aware of it behind closed doors. The type of safe place our dark feminine can be explored. Aries here can show that doing traditionally masculine things, like martial arts, actually helps us discover our dark femininity.

8th House

What turns the feminine on and brings out our darker side. Taboo fantasies. What makes us feel full and abundant. Gemini here can represent oral and 3-ways. Pisces can look for feet and water play.

12th House

Virgin. That's the word that comes to mind. The untapped part of our femininity. The siren part of our chart. A certain darkness lurks around the depths. This is a virgin right before she awakens to her sexuality and sensual power. A part of ourselves we don't touch for years and sometimes our Venusian archetype of manliness brings out of nowhere. Let's say we have Libra here. We don't realize our need for sweetness, partnership and femininity. Astrology Observations on Myself pt.4

🌙 Lilith in the 5th house: When I was little I had a lot of sexual encounters with friends. Boy, girl, didn't matter and I had NO awareness of sexual orientation back then-- they just were attracted to me and wanted to explore "taboo" things

♉ Taurus ruling over the 5th house: Whenever I make plans with my friends, the to-do list is literally to eat and spend time in nature playing with flowers LOL

♈ 4th House Ruled by Aries: No one can tell me how to decorate my house, where to live, or what to do in general LOL it's all MY decisions and I go after what I want when I want BUT with Libra MC there's hellah people pleasing tendencies so it's a challenge.

♋ Mars in Cancer: Crying is as easy as breathing. Honestly, I've come to terms with this placement and see it as a gift now, especially as a woman. I don't make a move until my intuition and emotions have guided me to do so ~ it works out a lot better than forcing myself to do something.

♂️ Mars in 7th house: Aggressive sex and slapping, biting, and wrestling is definitely a thing with lovers. Also being first to initiate sex or romantic connections is a theme even as a feminine woman.

Yes, of course! I also tried to search for a bit of understanding and indeed there's not much out there on this combo, so i will give you my personal interpretation, please take what resonates and feel free to give me a feedback if you agree or not with my takes 🥰

Now, for a bit of a general prep before i make a list, i wanted to give you key words for both of these placements:

Vertex: karmic point, fated events/connections, situations you can't avoid that will push you to your self-fullfilment (it will push you towards your NN path), things you can't process at first, life lessons "why did this happen?", sudden events to make you grow.

Venus in the signs (part III)

Venus in Sagittarius 🏹

As much as these Venuses adore freedom and flirting, they also love deep and passionate relationships. Venus in Sagittarius can be very loyal and caring towards those they feel deserve it. They have high standards for their partner, and until they find one, they enjoy love games and romantic relationships without strings attached. They can have several friends with benefits at the same time, but they are always honest with their (potential) partners about it. They will never hide their desire for romantic exploration, even if it hurts other people sometimes. Once they truly fall in love, they cannot keep it to themselves and must tell it or show it to the other person, whatever the consequences may be.

Venus in Capricorn 🐐

They seem very cold and reserved to their potential partners. They often calculate the possibility of being with someone, and very often choose partners who are either much older or much younger than them. They can often be in relationships that involve either receiving a lot of money from their partner or giving a large sum of money/gifts to their partner. They enjoy relationships based on power dynamics. They often are in romantic relationships in order to get to a higher position. They don't tend to change their minds and feelings too much once they bond with a person. It isn't a problem for them to be the first to approach another person, but they only do that if the other person is really attractive to them (and they see the benefits of them dating that person).

Venus in Aquarius 👽

In my opinion, this Venus sign, out of all Venuses, is the least interested in romantic relationships. They have an attitude that reflects the thought that love will happen when it happens and so it should not be searched for. Thus, they are never actively looking for a relationship and love in general. They don't like to flirt, and if they fall in love with someone, they will try to approach the person with some interesting and humorous stories, but it will not sound like flirting at all. Because of this, they often are friend zoned, which doesn't bother them, because friends are just as valuable to them as romantic partners.

Venus in Pisces 🦈

Individuals with this Venus are very romantic and dreamy. They like to be in romantic relationships, and if they're not in one, they often daydream about it. In relationships, they can be very clingy. Sometimes they get into toxic relationships and don't know how to get out of them later, because these Venuses, out of all Venuses, believe the most that their partner will change for them. They tend to often please their partner (somewhat out of fear that their partner will leave them and somewhat because they hate to see others disappointed in them). They express their love to their partners very early in the relationship, they like to sweet-talk and give creative and romantic gifts to their partners and they also feel very lonely if they spend any time without their partner.

Mars, Saturn, Pluto: The Three Levels of Power

If there’s one thing I loveeeee discussing about, it’s where to spot power and self-mastery in a chart. Mars, Saturn, and Pluto are the three levels of power that everyone has. As the world exists in polarity, their destructive nature also offers incredible healing. Darkness reveals the light within each of us that would otherwise stay hidden.

Anyone who is familiar with Eckhart Tolle knows what I’m talking about. Human sufferings can be the catalyst for the most positive changes if you’re willing to learn the lessons.

The first level of power is Mars. This planet is often reduced to “anger issues”. But anger is not that simple. Anger is only a secondary emotion. Hidden beneath anger are emotions such as sadness, grief, and shame. When you work with your Mars, you’re essentially releasing these negative energy blockages, which is one of the most important steps toward genuine positivity and joy.

The second level is Saturn. Now, you’ve looked at your anger in the face and understand what’s actually going on, you have to learn the practical steps to improve. Saturn points to the actions you need to take to solidify your internal changes into external results. This step is often very hard, since we want to cling to our old ways. Saturn feels painful because we have to face our bad, outdated beliefs and habits and have the courage to choose differently. Or else Saturn will keep repeating the lessons until we finally realize the power and control we have.

The last level of power is Pluto. Pluto deals with the soul. You often earn things with Saturn. People associate Saturn with karma and rewards. Pluto, on the other hand, demands you to give things up. Pluto is about spiritual transformation at the core. It forces you to accept that nothing is permanent. But that also gives you the chance to look within for your inner power when all the external clutches you have are no longer there. But fear not, Pluto never takes what’s good for you. Pluto only wants you to purge what’s holding you back. This is transformation reveals your truest, deepest nature. It is that space within you that nothing can touch. Saturn teaches you how to navigate your external world, but Pluto teaches who you are.

When you’ve internalized this and integrate their energies into your life choices, you will gain the type of power that is unshakable. It is not the power over others, but over yourself. Your destiny is in your hand.

if it resonates, then it resonates. don't look at astrology with such rigidity. it's a spiritual science, therefore there is fluidity in it. i personally use whole sign, but if you use placidus and it resonates AND you can use the information in a beneficial way to make you a better person, then it counts <3

also having a pisces moon (the most important planet in your chart imo) already makes you resonate because the degrees just reflect the pisces experience which you do experience to some degree bc of your prominent placement!

The Path of Evolution of Nakshatra Yonis

In traditional Vedic Astrology, every Nakshatra is attributed an animal, that explains its primal, instinctive nature. Yoni, besides its sexual connotations literally means "nature" and "origin", implying that our human nature is going to be similar to that given animal, indicating a level of similarity in fate, spiritually. Yoni energy, in collective consciousness, is what originated people saying that "a Tiger cannot change its stripes", just like we can't change our natural instincts.

The fate of Yoni energies, however, is not stagnant, as it indicates a certain path of evolution. The animal characteristics point to changing one's roles within the species. They are symbolic as to the instinctual nature that we take among other people, and how that evolved over time.

The best, brief description of Animal Yonis, translated by a native Indian can be found here, and after years of my own study and analysing the work of other astrologers also, I find this explanation to be very congruent with the reality of people's behaviors, coming from their Nakshatras.

Below, I will give an explanation of how each yoni grows over time using Nakshatra pairs.

Sheep Yoni - Krittika, Pushya

The name of the Yoni is in fact translated more to "Herder" or "Shepherd" rather than Sheep, another entry even translating Mesh to "The Best Guidance". That showcases the gentle, caring form of leadership that this Yoni is supposed to embody. It also shows the path of being born as one of the masses that leads them to becoming a leader of the flock. That contrast occurs through a simple truth in the Universe, that there are those who start waves, who "herd", those that initiate, or those who blindly follow, thus becoming "sheep". These Nakshatras are very strict, even black and white in embodying a simple truth, that if you don't dictate the current of your own life well, you will end up being swept away in the current dictated by somebody else. We all make decisions all the time, and if our actions are self destructive in face of opportunity, we won't ultimately arrive at the right place. The Universe at large is of course more complex than that, but for these natives, this idea is what charts their spiritual path. These natives karma is to undergo an evolution from being a "blind sheep", having an energetic poverty mentality and obsessing over feeling wanted through other people's approval to proudly showcasing oneself into a nurturing, guiding figure that cares about the well being of its people and cares for their sensitivity, as sheep are very delicate animals, get spooked easily, and herding them requires quite a skill, yet they still respond to natural confidence. It also shows this Yoni's attachment to working with common people in simple communities with a grass roots philosophy. The struggle for this Yoni is believing in themselves, their correct path and their own leadership power, as their emotional association and attachment with the masses and the common man can give them quite an inferiority complex early on in life and cause them to try to follow and imitate rather than lead, and their leadership is something they must create themselves, not something given to them or encouraged from birth. They key is to be a leader not out of ego, but out of love and service.

2. Snake Yoni - Rohini, Mrigashira

The Snake, just like the wildly misinterpreted biblical symbol, referred to in this Yoni is symbolic for a Kundalini awakening. Rather than the animal itself, which is associated more with Ashlesha Nakshatra, this Yoni relates purely to the awakening of our life force through passage of time and surviving certain events. The Yoni name in sanskrit translates to performance of gentle, cautious movements, slowly over time to the point of testing its subjects and bringing them to the point of torture. This test is necessary, as Kundalini awakenings and working with one's spiritual progress does not happen overnight, and without merit. These natives feel a significant pressure to awaken their energy, which initially can manifest as flightiness and careless, scattered romantic and sexual behavior. That happens on a subconscious level, as this Yoni tries to apply pressure to their kundalini energy from different angles in different forms through other people, and some of that experience has to be physical. They are naturally talented at accessing other people's kundalini points too, which can make them seem manipulative, but they in fact have the power to trigger a spiritual awakening not only in themselves but in others, which also will manifest as physical abundance. Often they have to go through very intense experiences for their kundalini to burst through. Their evolution has a deeply spiritual dimension, that transforms their energy from restless to rhythmic. As their consciousness is rising, the Kundalini is recoiling into purpose of energy mastery through transformation of both material and spiritual. The dharmic nature of this Yoni shows the importance of righteousness for these natives without looking out for merit, which arrives at its own designated time.

3. Dog Yoni - Ardra, Mula

The direct translation of this Yoni indicates the concept of being "easily attracted or captivated" or "easily attracting due to emitting an attractive sounding noise". Thus, these natives have issues with bondage to other people since their early lives. The challenge set before this Yoni is discipline and dignity, and finding their winning place in hierarchy. They have a pack mentality, and they tend to be picky but unwavering in support. However, that also makes them very frantic in earlier life, as their loyalty often gets the better of them and they are generous even to their own detriment, not looking where the pack leads them, because the concept of being "packless" scares them. As a result, they "bind" themselves to people not worthy of their loyalty, instead of embracing their power to control worthy others in an organized fashion. Their evolution is meant to go from Loyal to Steady, as they become more self assured and less reactive, and as a result, they attract their own tribe. The spiritual understanding here, is that one will always naturally attract their own tribe, and you are never truly alone, and you should not be afraid of restraint and self-focus leading to loneliness, as ultimately, your people will find you. These natives have an inbred discernment of who really is loyal to them and to their cause, as they know that a pack can only survive and function if its built on solid ground.

4. Cat Yoni - Punarvasu, Ashlesha

Anyone who has ever owned a cat knows, that these animals not only love to clean themselves constantly, but they also love laying down on you, whenever you are ill or unwell, and their natural frequency has a healing vibration. Sadly for these natives, early on in life that means attracting a lot of damaged people, or being the one that has to energetically clean up situations, even if it's just friends and family. In their youth, they are born or forced into environments that are not good for them, because of their burden of erasing destructive karmas. Such is the original karma of this yoni, as they are sent to clean up messes and "gather and purify" energies in places and environments, where they are needed to balance out stagnant situations, that no-one else can or wants to help with. Over time, this scenario gets old, as the natives themselves get blamed and pegged for the difficult situations they came into to help, as the people they work with are too low spiritually to acknowledge the truth of their own destructive actions, which is why they were targeted for this Yoni's "karma cleaning" force field to begin with. In reality, this Yoni natives suffer a lot of damage and can build up a lot of distrust towards people, just like cats don't immediately show love until you gain their trust. Their lives only get better once they place themselves in a healing profession, so they can channel their karma clearing energy productively, since they can't hold back their instinct of "constantly cleaning up", just like cats constantly clean themselves. Punarvasu is more responsible for emotional, spiritual healing and environmental causes, Ashlesha is more of a physical healer/doctor figure in modern society, because of its links to the caduceus, used in medical science, and its links to poison, as the right dose of poison is medicine. The challenge for these natives is to evolve from absorbing negativity and cleaning up other people's messes endlessly without merit to finding a good environment, and remaining so Pure, that they radiate it and they can contribute to cleaning up world problems on a larger scale, and get fairly recognized for it.

5. Rat Yoni - Magha, Purva Phalguni

The instinctual nature of this Yoni is to cast a wide social net, and charm every single person for their benefit. However, there is a difficulty in settling into place, which can come at one's detriment. This yoni has a challenge of transforming from running around between meaningless people restlessly to circulating intelligently and with purpose. They have an inborn skill of social grace and are able to benefit through wise navigation, but they struggle with choosing and contributing to and moving consciously between meaningful alliances. Often, they manage to charm their interlocutor, only to get to know them better, lose interest and move on. This cycle can continue futilely, until this yoni learns discernment in networking, as their fickle-mindedness can cost them valuable partnerships. The other party can sense, that this Yoni isn't fully "settled" into them, as their still keeping their eye out for the next best thing, and as a result, they don't inspire loyalty or trust, which are necessary even if in small amounts for social benefit. In its matured state, this Yoni is able to build a meaningful network over time, being able to convince each of their allies that they are also indispensable to them. However, it is also necessary to contribute more than charm to partnerships, as the veneer of pleasantry fades over time. Thus, learning multiple, substantial skills is necessary for this yoni to function well.

Cow Yoni - Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Bhadrapada

The Cow Yoni needs to understood from the perspective of Hindu culture, where it is a sacred animal. This Yoni refers to a particular purity and grandiosity, mixed with gentleness of nature. However, as we in the Western Society know, cows tend to get mass butchered for the benefit of men. That reflects the path of this Yoni, that faces a challenge from being taken advantage of to being given a safe space and being worshipped for its merit. As they settle into the space that is right for them, they begin working on spreading their abundance, which leads to getting respect for a wide scope of provision and protection that their aura provides. They attract people either way, but with status comes ability to control ones worshippers and maintain their safety. The ultimate goal of this Yoni is to find satisfaction in achievement through abundant sharing, as they are sort of a Universal parent of humanity, meaning to guide, provide for, and control it, rather than being controlled.

Buffalo Yoni - Hasta, Swati

Roaming is the word best described to define this Nakshatras nature. Their path is one of dynamic, responsible grace. They are freedom loving and boundless, they don't like to be limited and as a result, early on in life they make mistakes of trampling over people just to rebel and avoid feeling tied down. That takes away their best trump card, which is positively inspiring others. Over time, the course they chart becomes more conscious and inspiring to people, as they deep down want to use their freedom for a good reason, and their flair and spirit attract others, who want to feel the fresh breath of wind with them. Their mission is to go from childish struggling and avoiding of facts and responsibility to becoming a unique, genuine freedom fighter with a good cause, that has the power to influence crowds yet still remain free spirited. In their refined form, these natives, every time they fly by, bring blessings to their surroundings with a gust of energy current, that they leave behind them. They have to be very responsible for the quality of the energy they carry, as what they scatter, will be left behind, and they will be judged and remembered for the fruits of their effort. Tiger Yoni - Chitra, Vishakha

The goal of this Yoni is to discover its immense inner power on the path from prey to predator. As another catlike Yoni, they are rarely born into circumstances fitting them, and they have to fight for their position in the Jungle of life. Their road develops from being hunted to hunting after their goals, from stumbling to graceful and intimidating. Deep down these natives are powerfully sneaky, being able to influence or intimidate people to get what they want and elevate themselves out of difficult circumstances. They face the challenge of overcoming negative attachment and betrayal of people who question their authority unfairly, which is exactly what pushes them to embrace their power. Deer Yoni - Anuradha, Jyeshta

The main characteristic of this yoni, is that they are always in motion. They rarely pause, and they are very cautious and weary of enemies. This Yoni is not actually associated with the Deer itself, but with hunting, and chasing, Sanskrit even giving referrals to hyenas, showing the ruthlessness of their pursuits. Their path is one of developing merit and achievements over time stemming from their relentless pursuit of a worthy goal. They are supposed to move forward from blind ambition towards meaningful contribution and protecting their work for their work's sake. It is very important for them to have an outlet, as they become attacking and destructive when lost and not contributing to anything meaningful, just to deal with their inner restlessness.

Alien Yoni - Purva Ashadha, Shravana

The evolution path of this Yoni is marked with their eccentric nature, as they are the most unique of all the Yonis, possessing a high level of depth due to their connection with otherworldly realms, being literally, not of this world. As a result of their uniqueness, they often feel separated from the rest of humanity in early years. Human beings have an impossible time grasping their higher nature. As they learn to harness the special gifts they are born with, they become a visionary, which leads them to gathering a following of people who finally appreciate their irreplaceable contribution, and pure heart that bursts forth through their creations.

Mongoose Yoni - Uttara Ashadha

The struggle of this Yoni, that is well known is that it exists in a solitary form, possessing its equal only amongst the stars. Yoni matching here is not of interest, as these animals tend to travel in organized packs of their own. There is an element of being misunderstood and ostracized from the rest of the world, which leads them sometimes to questionable means, that they need in order to survive in early life. These means however, never last because these people possess a higher spiritual vibration, that seeks to purify itself. Their path is one from solitude, fear, lack, being hunted and outcast to surrender, enlightenment and brotherhood. They have a unique ability to establish a higher connection to the entire universe through equating people with nature. As much as they are without a consort, they can instinctively smell the nature of all other yonis.

Lion Yoni - Dhanishta, Purva Bhadrapada

The theme of saving face is very strong with this Yoni, as they are taught not to show weakness since birth. They tend to get angry easily in earlier life, as they are naturally rebellious, independent, touchy, reactive and territorial. However, even if they are not born into status, they are born into a family that put an emphasis of making an impression and maintaining a certain position, even among obstacles. The key is to learn how to make being authentically oneself look good, and maintain one's dignity even as people oppose their natural, chosen path. Their path is one from laziness and reactivity to pride and dignity in face of adversity. Developing nobility of spirit is essential, as they need to be unflinching on their way up. If they develop a mix of internal integrity and an ability to present a good façade, they become very charismatic and inspiring, as their courage and determination is a guiding light for the world.

Horse Yoni - Shatabhisha, Ashwini

The biggest challenge of these natives is to be able to charter a long-term course, which in human life usually has a form of a complex, long term project. That is why both Shatabhisha and Ashwini are linked to the concept of inventing and developing miraculous cures, as this process can sometimes take decades. Think of the process of taming a wild horse. Initially, they put up a lot of resistance and they tend to scatter, and run without purpose. But with the right guidance, they can carry enormous burdens and have a lot of stamina, which allows them to traverse huge distances and bridge gaps, leading to novelty.

Elephant Yoni - Bharani, Revati

There is an element of subconscious fear in this yoni, as they have an acute fear of death, mixed with the consciousness of carrying a precious heritage. Their path is to grow from being anxious about their fate to trusting in divine judgment and working on their legacy. The challenge to overcome here is to develop an understanding, that death will ultimately come for us all, but our achievements and energetic contribution, as well as really strong, authentic bonds, can transcend that. These natives have the power to pour all of their wisdom and enormous energy body to nourish very wide projects. They are concerned with offspring, as they want to pass their heritage to them.

The 12th House

The 12th House is often dubbed as the house of the lost, the hidden and the secret. It represents prisons and as such is the house that shows us the things we feel trapped by. It is seen as a shadow house because it hides parts of ourselves from ourselves and others. The 12th House is our subconscious and can also represent the nature of any repressed memories we may have. In this post I’m going to describe the planets in the 12th House and the “lacking” we feel as a result.

Sun in the 12th: These people tend to be easily walked on as they suffer a lack of ego. This is not to say they don’t have an ego, they simply can’t access it as easily as others. They might feel invisible or like they don’t matter or have an impact on others. This being said they have amazing empathy for others.

Moon in the 12th: These people usually feel that their emotions don’t matter or that they’re invalid. They feel things really deeply but are often confused by what they feel. They bury their emotions a lot and aren’t great at confronting them. They’re great at understanding others and their emotions, sometimes better than their own.

Mercury in the 12th: These people tend to daydream a lot and get lost in their own mind. Their thought processes are foggy and they find it hard to make sense of the things their own brain comes up with. They often have very abstract ideas and tend to be quite creative, usually having an emotional understanding of poetry and literature.

Venus in the 12th: People with Venus in the 12th House tend to find it hard to feel or show love. Love is an abstract concept for them and they might find it hard to know where they start and their loved on begins. They are at risk of getting lost in their partner and over extending themselves in efforts to gain more love and affection. They’re very selfless people who do anything for their loved ones. 

Mars in the 12th: Those with Mars in the 12th House may suffer a lot of repressed anger and frustration. They find it hard to express this anger in a safe way and usually have to find themselves a good outlet. Their anger shows itself as passive aggression and hostility. This placement is also one of the many placements that correlate with abuse and bullying. 

Jupiter in the 12th: People with this placement tend to be very compassionate although they are not the best secret keepers. While the 12th House is one that people tend to fear, Jupiter being placed here can provide some light and protection from potential hidden enemies. They are very altruistic but must be careful not to overextend themselves to the point of martyrdom.

Saturn in the 12th: This is possibly one of the most difficult placements to have as a person can isolate themselves to the point of depression out of fear. They tend to have a lot of worries and fears and as a result they may have an aversion to accessing their own subconscious feelings. These people must learn to keep an open mind towards overcoming their fears.

Uranus in the 12th: People with this placement tend to feel alienated in early life due to unique and unusual personalities. They may feel suppressed as they get older and become afraid to embrace their individuality. Unstable sleeping patterns and vivid dreams are quite common for these people and they have the ability to conceive bizarre thoughts better than most.

Neptune in the 12th: As Neptune is at home in the 12th House, this placement is possibly the least afflicted. These people are blessed with intuition and many psychic like abilities. They are very empathic people but if Neptune is harshly aspected, they may find themselves falling into deception and illusion easily.

Pluto in the 12th: Pluto being placed here indicates a very intense life. Pluto correlates with trauma in the house it’s placed, placed here can indicate a difficult birth. They also tend to hold a lot of secrets, sometimes to do with their sexuality or their desires. They may have psychological wounds from childhood and if Pluto is adversely aspected, they may have experienced sexual assault. 

Chiron in the 12th: Those with this placement may be subject to a lot of phobias and fears. They have issues surrounding their unconscious and repressed memories. They tend to soak up other’s emotions and must be careful with letting others drain the life out of them.
