I actually don’t like candy that much. I love snacking on stuff like vegetables in ranch, salted peanuts, random stuff. But I don’t snack or eat often. But the candy I do like? I’d have to say the soft kind of gummy bears, or maybe those mint chocolates they give you at Olive Garden. That’s where it’s at.

here’s the thing- I think a Christian can easily enjoy the rise show like anyone else, even with the little things like “witch town” and all the “spiritual” elements.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and The Hobbit were both written by talented Christian authors. They didn’t practice dark magic of course, it was solely the world building and story itself.

it’s fiction. Things like witches, wizards and fantasy creatures are just part of the storytelling. Of course, I’m not a huge fan of witchcraft itself, but I don’t mind it at the capacity it is shown in. I’ve always enjoyed fairytales and mythology. In my own Slavic culture, Baba Yaga (a fairytale witch) is in many folktales I enjoy and grew up with.

(Speaking of witch, she was supposed to be in a cancelled episode of rise)
