To add onto it!! They made a transphobic comment and called him (and I quote) “Hermann” at the end. Which is his name. He chose that name. But they fucking made a comment that is mocking. Because yknow… it’s “not black and white and you need to separate reality from fiction”. Shut your fucking proship-y mouth up. Not to mention as someone who *literally suffers from delusions* their comment was VERY RC-y.

Quick reminder that the reason you love Disney movies is not because they're Disney but because the people who worked on them were talented and hard-working and thus the movie was well-made.

People like me may have some issues with the idea of dismantling Disney because they love Disney movies and so much of their childhood is so tied up in it, but my childhood is not tied up in Disney.

It's tied up in Alan Menken, in Howard Ashman, in the hundreds of animators and actors and writers who worked on the movies I grew up on and will continue to grow up with.

To get to it: I’m opening emergency commissions.

My partner and I are both trans, gay, neurodivergent men and we’re struggling to make ends meet. My partner is struggling to keep his job right now after he had a meltdown provoked by his extreme anxiety (and likely overstimulation) and they’re… discussing if they’re gonna keep him. We’re trying to get him a job at a place with less foot traffic, but the job market right now here is utter shit.

I myself work at the same place and don’t have the same complications when it comes to work (even though it takes a very high toll on my mental health), but rent is not feasible on one income. $800 a month for rent, $80-100 for electric, plus food money- it’s just not possible making $9 an hour. I’m going to try and get a second job once I graduate next week, but I also have fees for grad school (like my $200+ GRE). Both of us come from homophobic, transphobic, and ableist households and we CANT go back to those houses. I won’t spare personal details, but it’s literally not possible for us to try and live with our parents again.

If you have any possible way to commission either of us (he mostly is on Instagram @pokemonrescuesquad but just started a tumblr with the same name), please help up. We’ll draw anything at this point. Literally anything.

I have a commission sheet up, he is working on one (yet has a rough one lined up if you want to see that) and we both are scrambling desperately to try and get something working.

Please dm us if you can help or share this everywhere you can. I hate begging like this but… I don’t really know what else to do.
