Peter Quill is a resident DJ at the gay nightclub Xandar. He liked his job because he could always turn 80s classic into a modern pop in a matter of seconds. However, his job became his routine- he saw the same faces at the club, he knew how the night was going to end. Which meant him leaving with another one night stand and not remembering their name the next morning.

One night, Peter notices a new face at the club. A new bartender. He immediately put his playlist on shuffle and left his booth to go and talk to a handsome bartender. It was unusual behavior for Peter because he never left his station at any cost, but he felt something when he saw a new bartender. As he sat at the bar, he immediately got a shot without even ordering. After taking it, he finally met a new staff in the club. Bartender’s name was Thor Odinson and Quill has never felt like that around another person. Both men talked for a bit but before returning to the booth, for the first time in his life, Peter gave his number to Thor.

The next day, Quill got a text from Thor asking to meet up for coffee. After meeting up, both men decided they should go out together more. It has been a wild ride for both of them. With every ‘date’, they were taking the next step in their relationship- a brush of hands, then actual hands holding. During another one of their dates, Thor informed Quill that he got them a day off at the club and that they should go there to enjoy themselves and not to work.

During that night, both Thor and Peter got drunk and danced their night away. After getting out of the nightclub, out of nowhere, Thor kissed Peter and asked him to come to his place. Quill, still pretty drunk, agreed since it’s his routine to leave a club with someone. However, that night Peter felt differently, he actually felt loved, and that scared him. What frightened him more was Thor’s love confession. He didn’t think they were already at the “L” word stage. The next morning, while Thor was still sleeping, Quill left without a word. 

It’s been a difficult couple of months for both of them. Whenever Thor tried to call Peter, he was directed to a voicemail. Quill has never answered his texts and whenever Odinson approached him at the club during their shifts, Peter ignored him or just occupied himself with something so he didn’t have to talk to Thor. However, when Peter was alone at home, he always thought of Thor and what a coward he actually is for ignoring Odinson. 

One day, Thor asked for a day off and drove to Peter’s place since he’s been feeling “off” for a couple of days already. When he got to his destination, he saw Peter working on a motorcycle- the one Quill talked about a lot. When Peter noticed Thor, he immediately tried to go to his house and just hide but Thor was faster. When Odinson got to Quill, he just hugged him and yet again, said that he loved Peter. Quill didn’t say anything, just hugged Thor back. Even though Quill couldn’t say the “L” word yet, Odinson could see it in his eyes.

“So, were you actually feeling ill or you just didn’t want to talk to me?”

“Thor, I’m sorry. When that night you said that you…you…”

“Love you?”

“Yeah…I just got scared, because I never knew what is a commitment. I lived in the world of one night stands.”

“Well, you don’t have to anymore. You are stuck with me now.”

“You know that I…I…”

“I know, I know.”

and yes, i also love the aquarium car with the in-house sushi bar. a close second would be the nightcar because i’m such a sucker for art deco inspired interiors with a luxe and glamorous feel.

i’m honestly excited for the show to reveal more new (and possibly absurd) sections of the train, especially since there’s going to be a season 2.

first of all, really appreciate that you've done this blog to help cultivate the snowpiercer fandom. i've read the original graphic novels and i'm a huge fan of the film adaptation by bong joon-ho. i personally think the tv series has expanded the snowpiercer universe and taking it into a bold new direction. that being said, i'd like to know out of the various sections of the train that were revealed thus far, which car/section is your favorite in terms of function and design?

All the sets we’ve see are so nice but I like the aquarium the most. Not only is it pretty but to be able to make a closed system that’s worked so well is a technical feat! I wouldn’t mind taking a dive in it either tbh
