I don't have enough knowledge for headcanons for the Fontaine and Snezhnaya arcs for my ATWIAWL AU, so I'm just gonna put them all in one post.

FONTAINE HEADCANONS

Furina names her wisp Duchesse Imène.

Imène doesn't know that Furina is not Focalors, but they do have a feeling that something is up and that it's probably the kind of something that is better off not looked into.

Imène does act as an unconditional support for Furina through thick and thin :))

SNEZHNAYA HEADCANONS

The Tsaritsa’s wisp is known by the Snezhnayan people as the Velikaia Knazhna (Grand Princess) of Snezhnaya, Karine.

I effing love the idea of Venti & Tsaritsa siblinghood, so they're like siblings in this AU.

My bro suggested the angsty idea that the Tsaritsa was the one that was originally assigned to kill Kaeya, but because she refused, the duty was pushed onto Venti and now that she thinks he's dead, she's feeling really guilty about it (I might have mentioned this before)

One of the goals she wants to fulfil once she collects all the Gnosis (besides taking down Celestia) is reviving Venti.

I genuinely had to ask myself why Karine doesn't just snitch on the Pierro and the Fatui to the Tsaritsa, but my bro suggested that at this point, the Tsaritsa probably does not care anymore.

Despite that, Karine doesn't leave the Tsaritsa like Kaze did with Ei because, unlike Ei, the Tsaritsa is still there and needs emotional support.

Instead, they help take care of the Snezhnayan people in the Tsaritsa's stead.

But now I have to ask myself; "How will Kabuki and Kaze threaten Dottore to stay out of Inazuma if the Tsaritsa doesn't care enough to put an end to his experiments?" Anyone have any ideas?

That's all I got lol. At least, until Natlan comes out.

I haven't finished the Sumeru quest yet, but here's my info dump about what I have so far for the AU anyways lol

I was talking with my bro about the Sumeru arc and he gave me some ideas!

What we have so far is that after Nahida gets caged by the sages, a wisp approaches her and tells her that they want to help break her out of there, but she tells them that she wants to stay for the sake of her people (I dunno if this is accurate at all XPP) so the wisp decides to stay to keep her company all the while they try to keep their existence hidden from the sages.

Eventually, Nahida came to name the wisp 'Ghostie' (she feels like someone who'd give an actual name, but then I remembered that she enrolled Wanderer into the Akademiya under the name of Hat Guy).

Now, my bro had this idea that one of the sages manages to discover Ghostie, but decides to play it smart. Instead of making a big deal about it, they pretend that nothing is wrong and that they have no idea Ghostie exists, but secretly, they're formulating a crazy plan with the other sages using the Akasha Terminal to capture Ghostie.

Since Nahida's powers are still weak, she can't properly check Irminsul to figure out what they're scheming, so the sages' plans to capture Ghostie succeed and they use them as a sort of hostage to keep Nahida there.

However, before the plan succeeds, Ghostie pulls a Barbatos and sort of separates their consciousness from their body, so throughout the archon quest, they're like... a voice in the wind! Kind of like an actual ghost.

Which is funny, because my friend and I decided on Ghostie's name being Ghostie before I can up with the idea of Ghostie pulling a Barbatos.

I think it's a nice way of foreshadowing what actually happened to Barbatos/Venti/Nye lol

I really want to write some Nahida and Kabuki interactions because they're my favourite family headcanon, but I just don't know how to make it exist in this AU :'))

Anyone have any other ideas for the Sumeru arc?
