Zhongli

Zhongli LOVES giving you forehead kisses, especially if you’re outdoors. He will just pull you close when you’re standing somewhere and press his lips to your forehead or your temple for a few moments. Hu Tao always teases him about it but he doesn’t mind because it makes him think of you, and whenever he thinks about you or is with you, he’s content. He’s not against longer, proper kisses, as long as you’re in private, but he thinks of it as impolite to do so when in public. There he will only softly and quickly kiss your temple if you’re saying goodbye to each other for whatever reason. If you’re at home though, he turns into a completely different person from the reserved persona outside. He, as long as you’re fine with it, wants to always be touching you, no matter what either of you are doing. If you have paperwork to do, he will sit by your side and talk to you a bit and you do the same to him. During this, he also regularly kisses your forehead, temple and cheeks. Once you’re done, he kisses you properly on the lips. Whenever he passes you, he also kisses your head because he likes being taller than you. And if you end up being taller than him, he contemplates changing his form a little to be the taller one again. Or he results in kissing your jaw instead.

Kazuha

He’s soft with you. Even though he is a samurai, he is also a poet. And that’s the part you feel when he kisses you. He holds you like you’ll break if he hugs you too tightly. He loves kissing your nose while his hands are resting on your hips or waist. If he could, he’d spend hours doing this every day, but sadly, you both have tasks to do.

If you’re a member of the Crux Fleet, be prepared to randomly hear a quiet warning that it’s him and then be swept up and have a quick kiss pressed to your nose, lips or cheeks by Kazuha before he’s gone just as quickly as he came. This is his routine and if he has to go one day without doing so because you’re too busy, he WILL sulk around until you pay attention to him.

Scaramouche

He is not affectionate. At all. If anybody ever asks him about it, he will just respond that he hates it. With you, however, he’s a bit like a cat. Secretly, he loves your affection, but he will never admit it and will lash out if anybody points it out. When you kissed his cheek for the first time, he went “disgusting, do it again”. He will not kiss you in public and he prefers to just press his lips to your hand or to your palm, being very careful while he does so. That’s the only affection you’re getting from him. If your relationship has been going strong for multiple months, he might kiss your hand in more public spaces, although it’s still only in non-crowded spaces and when he’s sure no one is watching, although he might kiss your cheeks and sometimes even your lips in private. During your relationship he grew to love the hand kisses so much, because it showed him you would wait until he was comfortable, so now he does them for the sake of the sentimental value more than because he’s too reserved for anything else.

Xiao

Very shy with affection. No kisses are happening in any place that is not completely private. Literally gets so embarrassed if anybody sees you. He is also not too fond of you kissing his cheek in greeting when you’re not on his balcony. If you are in private, however, and your relationship is not as new to him, he becomes more affectionate. He likes when you kiss his temple when he’s lost in his head and makes sure to return the favour whenever you are the one feeling down. He peppers soft kisses on various parts of your face whenever you two are in private and loves if you do the same. It gives him a feeling of this relationship being mutual and not a one-sided effort, which was what he feared as he didn’t know how to keep relationships going before. But you taught him and he’s so grateful for that, which he shows by protecting you, both from the outside world and your own head, for which kisses are the perfect solution.

It's been a long time since he last felt so peaceful, sitting on the edge of a cliff after banning yet another demon to where it came from. Even after all this time, he was still watching over Liyue. Ningguang and Keqing had long since retired and Beidou had given her ship away because she was too old. She had joined Ningguang in retirement and years later, they died, happy and of old age. Liyue harbour had changed a lot and so had Wangshu Inn. The only constants were Qiqi and Ganyu, who were still working as ever before. The traveller hadn’t visited in what must have been 150 years. It was even longer since they found their sibling. They promised to keep visiting, but those were becoming less and less.

Then, there was the topic of Xiao’s late lover. He had met you together with the traveller, who also helped you get together. You stayed by his side your whole life and had many adventures together. Until you couldn’t. Your limbs were getting stiff and you couldn’t move around as much anymore. Years later, you couldn’t move at all. You weren’t sick, just not as mobile anymore. Throughout all of it, Xiao stayed with you, he didn’t leave your side for more than a couple of hours. When you died, it was of old age and with a smile on your face, Xiao watching over you by your bedside as you fell asleep for the last time.

He himself was devastated. He didn’t want to leave you or have you leave him, although you promised him with your last words you would always be with him. Every minute, even though he didn’t want to admit it, he missed you. Your presence, your laugh, everything about you. He felt like you were haunting him. Xiao would see your face everywhere he looked, knowing it won’t be you when he double-checked. Overtime, it got easier. He learned to accept that you weren’t there anymore, accepted that he couldn’t hold you and make you laugh. Over time, he almost forgot what you looked like, what you smelled like, what you smelled like, how your giggles sounded, your laugh. He tried so hard to remember, but the more he tried to recall something, the more he forgot. After years, he gave up on it. Sometimes, he would hear your voice in his head and he had come to accept that this was all he would ever get from you. The pictures of you that existed were all in Xiao’s room and no matter how many owners Wangshu Inn had, all of them knew not to walk in there. Although your body was buried long ago, your bed was still the same. Xiao refused to rest there, taking the couch like he had all those years ago when you were getting older and had to rest almost all day.

Now, as he was sitting there, on that cliff, all alone, it was like he could feel you. You were sitting beside him, leaning on his arm, your hand in his. And even though Xiao knew it wasn’t real, he was happy. This was his closure.

Lisa

She’s very teasing with you. Lisa calls you darling whenever she sees you. Kisses your lips, but only for a second (after making sure you’re fine with it, you know you can stop her if you don’t want to). She then walks away with a teasing smile unless you pull her back. She actually wants you to pull her back, so if you want to tease her, don’t pull her towards you for a day or so. If she sees your smile while doing this, she knows you’re just teasing her and will walk back herself to pull you in and give you a proper kiss. If you keep it up for too long though, she might get insecure, so please don’t. Whether you pull her back or she comes back herself, you always share a slightly longer kiss. It might end up with a longer while of kissing if you are somewhere more private, like her or your office, or a random corridor. She loves kissing you very much, and it is her most preferred way of procrastination, even though she knows both of you have a lot of tasks to do.

Keqing

Keqing’s very soft with you, especially with her kisses. She doesn’t really care which part of your face she kisses, as long as it’s you. If she had to choose her favourite type of kiss, though, she would probably say early morning kisses. Whoever of you wakes up first wakes the other with light kisses on the cheeks and forehead. Once you’re both awake, you have breakfast together. You share a proper kiss when both of you head off to work.

While she’s working, she dislikes being distracted, so cheek kisses are all you’re getting if you two ever meet during work.

When you’re home in the evening (after you’ve dragged her back home from her duties) and sit on the couch or prepare dinner, you’re always touching each other in some way. There’s a lot of kisses shared before you head to bed to repeat your little routine the following day.

Beidou

She’s a little rough around the edges, but she’s the best at taking care of you. Her favourite kisses are kisses on the lips while you’re holding each other. Your hands on her waist and her hands on your hips while your lips meet in the middle is the perfect thing to her. No matter where you are and how busy she is, whenever she meets you, she takes a few moments to do this with you. She’s also not afraid to do this in public (unless you’re uncomfortable, she will always respect any boundaries you’ve set).

If you don’t join her on her journeys often for whatever reason, she’s gonna miss you terribly. Once she’s back, she is stuck to you for at least three days and if you’re fine with it, she’ll join you everywhere, kissing you every couple of minutes.

In conclusion, she’s a very touchy person who loves to kiss you. Although she doesn’t exactly care where she kisses you, your lips are her favourite place to kiss.

Raiden Shogun

It depends. If you’re with the puppet, there will be no affection, simply because she’s not programmed for it. If you’re with Ei outside or in her Plane of Euthymia, there are a lot more loving ways her affection for you is shown. She’s very fond of nose kisses. The God thinks they’re cute and, because she finds you incredibly cute, it fits in her mind. She keeps you close and, almost as if it’s an instinct, presses a kiss to your cheek every other minute. You do the same for her.

“Proper” kisses are reserved for a more quiet time between the two of you. Ei wants to make them as special as she can and she believes they will lose a bit of that magical feeling if they happen too often. When they do happen, however, it’s a very soft moment. She cups your cheek and you cup hers before she leans in and slowly kisses you. This can go on for minutes and neither of you wants to break it.
