Aaaah that’s a complicated question, my friend. While I can’t fully relate to having parents that don’t accept an identity change, I can relate to living in an environment where you don’t necessarily always feel loved for the person that you truly are.

I… honestly wouldn’t consider it a lie necessarily? I mean, I’ve told people in my real life that people online call me ‘Teri’, despite that being nothing like my actual name. Online pseudonyms are pretty common these days, especially in spaces like this where maybe you wouldn’t want, say, future employers finding the content you’re making.

Honestly, if you aren’t in any kind of immediate danger for being outed I really think your best course of action is to lay low and let it blow over. Stick to your story, and try to remember that while it’s frustrating to not be able to be your authentic self in your own home, living with your parents doesn’t have to be a forever thing. Someday, you will have the freedom to be fully yourself, regardless of what your family thinks.

But hey, while I’m flattered that you’ve come to me for advice please take it all with a grain of salt. I’m no expert on these things, I’m just some old hag on the internet haha. You’re in a sticky situation, but remember that some secrets can be taken to the grave if self-preservation is on the line. Trust me, there’s some shit my parents still don’t know about from when I was living under their roof, and Gods willing they’ll never have to find out.
