Holy Shit You Guys.
Holy shit you guys.
I just came from my first appointment with a psychiatrist. This post, which I'd seen before, actually popped up on my dash yesterday and I was going to ignore it because I'm stubbornly honest, but then it occurred to me that I've been stressing so much about this appointment... worried he wouldn't take me seriously about my having ADHD. I'm 51. I just... Well, you know. Anyway a little while after seeing the post I was like, y'know, this could be a sign from the universe.
So I did it. I went in there and told him my supervisor told me she thinks I might have ADHD. I also said everything else I'd intended to, but I led with that. And of course I can't be sure if that is what tipped the scales, but he wasn't sure, and yet still said we'd try a low dose of Ritalin.
You. Guys.
And who knows, maybe it won't help. But maybe it will. I get to try! I'm feeling so hopeful right now.

This ABSOLUTELY works.
I have used this for many years. Definitely b do it.

Some fairies have taken residence on your property, and have grown fond of you, as much as those with such alien morals can. And they are not happy when the bank tried to foreclose on you.
Can confirm. I'm half French but lived in the US most of my life. We moved to France in 2019.
One thing we noticed right away: playgrounds and things like bouncy houses are way less "safe" here. We were puzzled but eventually realized... if a kid gets hurt here they get the care they need and no one has to sue anyone to pay for it.
My primary care physician recently told me she loves having American patients because they do all her homework for her. I'm wired to internet search any symptom and try to treat it at home, although I'm starting to break that latter habit. Now I bring my research to her. She's got several American patients and they all do the same thing. This is what American healthcare does: it creates vigilantism among people who've never been to medical school. If you want to see how that turns out search life expectancy comparison graphs for the US versus countries with universal healthcare systems.

SOUND ON.
