“Dad?” Y/n spoke from the doorway to her dad’s office

“Yes, sweetheart?” Bruce acknowledged

“Tony called again” she told him

“What’d he say?” he asked again rifling through a folder

“Something about some tech stuff I can’t pronounce what he called it.” Y/n shook her head

Bruce nodded to show he heard her ”ok,I’ll call him back later.”

“Ok” she nodded back before turning to leave.

“Wait” Bruce looked up, stopping his daughter from leaving.

“Hmmm?” Y/n turned back to look at him again

“How’s school? What’s been going on in your life? We haven’t talked much in a while.” He asked her. He couldn’t help but give a sad look at the realization of what he said.

“School’s ok, hang out with Peter and Ned a lot. Life’s ok.” She answered shuffling her feet, glancing around his office.

“Nothing else?” Bruce asked

“I don’t know” Y/n shrugged

Bruce sighed “You know you can tell me anything, right?”

“Yeah” she glanced at him

“Then what’s wrong?” Bruce asked

“Nothing really.” Y/n looked down again

“Are you sure?” he tried once more

“Ummm well I guess I do have something I want to ask you.” Y/n looked up at him, nervous about what she’s about to ask.

Bruce nodded in encouragement “go head”

“Well, Peter and his Aunt May are going on vacation. Aunt May is bringing Happy with her and they were all wondering if I could go. Keep Peter company and all since we are dating, we’d miss eachother a lot to.” Y/n asked nervously

“Wait, you and Peter are dating?” Bruce asked, shock evident on his face and in his tone.

“Yeah” she smiled

“When did you to, you know” Bruce gestured with his hands

“About 11 months ago.” her grin dropped some

“That’s almost a year ago” he mumbled

“Yeah. That’s one of the reasons Peter wants me to go. So he can play something special for our one-year anniversary.” Y/n blushed

“You can go, I’ve met May. She’s a nice woman and I trust Peter. I trust him to keep you safe. But I do want to ask you why you didn’t tell me before that you were dating?” Bruce asked moving to sit on the front of his desk.

“You haven’t really been around a lot lately. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad your keeping busy and have friends. I love them, their like family. But you haven’t been around for me to talk to for a while. A long while.” she explained giving him a tight-lipped smile.

“I promise to make more time for us, ok?” Bruce gave her a genuine smile

Y/n smiled back at him “Ok, and thank you for letting me go with them on vacation.”

“Your welcome. You should go call him and tell him the good news.” He nodded. Watching her leave to go call Peter. Bruce made a promise to himself to make more time for him and Y/n to spend together.

Draco was walking with Crabble down the hallway back towards the common room to change before dinner in the great hall. On the way, Draco saw y/n sitting by one of the windows. But the closer he got to her could see a letter in her hand and he noticed her cheeks have tearstains on them. Draco mumbled to Crabble that he would meet up with him later.

“Are you ok y/n/n?” Draco asked approaching his girl in the hallway

“Um-uh, mmm yeah I-I’m fine.” y/n whipped her face, under her eyes nodding at Draco trying to smile.

“No, your not. What's wrong? What happened?” Draco insisted. He knows her well enough to know something had happened to upset her. So he sat down next to her on the windowsill. Rubbing her back.

“Ummm, my-my parents.I j-just got a letter. They were- um- they were killed this past weekend.” y/n stuttered out trying to stop her tears. She was sick of them constantly falling. Yeah, she’s sad and upset but she just wants to stop crying. “By DeathEaters.”

Draco couldn’t believe it. Why would Deatheaters kill her parents? Draco hated seeing his girlfriend upset. “Oh. I’m sorry y/n.”

“Thanks, Draco” y/n gave him a tight smiled, trying to show her apperaction.

“I am sorry, love.” Draco apologized

“You have nothing to be sorry for Draco.” y/n assured

“I know its not my fault, but my parents are associated with your parent's death. Considering they are DeathEaters themselves. I feel guilty.” Draco sighed.

“You have nothing to feel guilty for Love.” she told him. Y/n didn’t want to make him feel guilty. Plus it’s not like him or his parents killed them.

“I’m here for you y/n. Always.” he promised looking her in the eyes.

“Thank you Draco.” y/n thanked her boyfriend

“I f you need to cry, you can cry on me. Anytime.” Draco gave her a light, rare smile. Wrapping his arms around her shoulders.

Y/n leaned in and kissed his cheek gently before the two Slytherins went back to just watching the snow fall.

“You're leaving with them. Aren’t you.” y/n stated though the sentence sounded more like a question. As she leaned in the doorway of his room where he is packing a backpack of clothes.

“y/n” John sighed sadly looking at his girl with sorry eyes

“Its ok. I get it.” y/n nodded, mirroring his expression as he walked over to her. Grabbing her waist and pulling her to him, more into the room.

“I’m sorry. You know I don't want to leave you, right?” John asked looking her in the eyes. Hoping she could see and feel how he doesn’t want to leave her side. Doesn’t want to leave the love of his life.

“Yeah, yeah I know. . . You know I can’t go with you, right? I would love to, and I am more on Magneto's side. Needing to make things happen instead of waiting for things to happen on their own but-” she gave a sad shaky breath, holding on to his arms for comfort.

“But your parents are here. You don't want to be against them. I understand. You're close with them and if you left with me it would just hurt you.” John cut in. He knew how close she is with her parents. And even though they didn’t like them together at first, he knows they are important to her.

“I really do want to go with you though. I love you, and I would but-” y/n moved her hands to wrap them around his shoulders.

“No buts sweetheart. If you come with me your gonna hurt you and your parents. And if you don’t its gonna hurt you and me to be apart. Y/n, I love you and want you to come with me. But you can’t.” he pulled her closer to him. John knows this choice will hurt both of them, but he can't put her against her parents. No matter how much being apart from her will hurt him to.

“I’m gonna miss you. A lot.” y/n whimpered into his shoulder, trying not to cry. John nuzzled his face into her neck. Enjoying the last hug he’ll have with her for a while.

“I’m gonna miss you a lot to. When the fight happens, I will protect you.” he said pulling away a little cupping her face before he retrieved something from his pocket. He gently took one of her hands from around his shoulders and put the thing in her hand. “Here, take my lighter. You know I’ll come back for it and to you. We won’t be apart for to long. I promise.”

After they kissed goodbye and John left with Magento y/n watched him leave. Hoping that he’ll be ok.

Later that night y/n sat in Johns room surrounded by his things. He’d only been gone for a few hours but she already felt like he’d been gone for weeks.

Y/n’s mom knew she was in John’s room. It is obvious to anyone who saw the two together that they loved eachother. After giving her time Jean walked in and sat down next to her daughter. “He’ll be back sweetheart, he loves you. Even your father can see that, even though he doesn’t like to admit it.” Jean stated hoping to ease her daughters' mind. Knowing how being left alone from your love can hurt.

“I know. I love him too.” y/n spoke looking down at the lighter in her hand.

“You can’t be serious” Peter exclaimed chasing after Y/n as she got her weapons for a mission she’s about to go on. Alone.

“Well I am” Y/n responded putting her knives in their compartments. She couldn’t understand why Peter was freaking out ever since Fury came by asking her to take this mission.

“You could get hurt” he stressed, ready to pull his hair out. When Y/n looked up at him, she could see he was really worried about her going out on this mission.

“I know. Trust me.” she stood up straight looking right at him.

“I trust you, but I am aloud to be concerned.” Peter stated she could tell how serious he was about what he was saying when she saw he wasn’t smiling like usual.

“I know Peter, I know I could get hurt. It’s in the job description and yes you can be concerned. I love that you care about me and worry about me. But you got to let me do this. I mean you don’t really have a say but I do want you to be ok with it and I don’t want to fight about it.” Y/n nodded. She could relate to what he’s feeling, it’s how she feels when he does missions. Alone or not. Even if he is Spiderman.

“I’m trying. I know you can take care of yourself, I believe in you. Just be careful, ok?” he sighed feeling defeated. There was no way he was gonna get her to give the mission to someone else.

“I’ll be careful and if I need you I’ll press the button on the bracelet you gave me.” she smirked giving him a smug look. Peter never told her everything he added to the bracelet that he made for her, so hearing that she found out about a couple. Let’s just say he was nervous about her reaction.

“You- You know about that?” Peter looks at her sheepishly, scratching his neck.

“Yeah. I was admiring it and I found the sensor on the inside.” Y/n smiled loving how much he was embarrassed about her knowing the secret behind her gift.

“Can I just say that I only added those in the bracelet because I love you.” he stated giving her a small nervous smile.

“Peter, chill.” she laughed a little but felt bad for how nervous her boyfriend got.

“You’re not mad?” he asked looking at her worriedly.

“No. When I figured out what they were for...honstely I think it’s sweet. The button so if I need help you know and you can come help me. The sensor so if I’m hurt or something is wrong and I can’t push the button you’ll know an can send help or come find me.” Y/n softened her features. Honestly, she thought it was really sweet that Peter cared that much about her to add those things in.

Peter sighed in relief “Well I’m glad you’re not mad about it. And that was what I was thinking when I added those to the bracelet.”

“I’ll be back tonight, ok?” Y/n leaned upon her toes to kiss his cheek before having to leave towards the hanger.

Peter still couldn’t help but feel worry. He knows Y/n can handle herself but he still doesn’t want to see her hurt.

“Holy Crap!” y/n yelled in shock when she turned and saw Steve extremely close. Having not heard him come up behind her. “What?” she asked him when she noticed the stunned look on his face.

“I’ve never heard you curse before.” Steve replied still stunned at what he heard

“Really?” y/n asked shocked that in all the time they’ve known eachother she hadn’t said one bad word.

“Yeah” Steve answered slowly coming out of his shock

“Is it a probelm?” y/n asked in a nervous shaky voice. Worried that he might not like her now. After all he comes from a time where women didn’t say anything bad, rude, or inappropriate.

“No just a shock” Steve told her, but coming out of his shock he noticed how anxious she looked.

“Ok” she mumbled

“Hey, it doesn’t mean I love you anyless.” Steve stated moving closer to her and pulling her closer to him for reassurance.

“I’d hope not but, good.” y/n told him with a smile. Though Steve could tell she still felt uneasy.

“Now come here.” Steve smiled pulling her into him

“Yes Captain!” y/n smiled, laughing as he started walking backwards falling onto the bed, taking her with him. The rest of the night was filled with laughs.
