it seems like you might still be holding on to certain strict boundaries with love that don't serve you. your future husband is a very emotional person (which isn't a bad thing at all dw) and doesn't try to hide that he has feelings. I feel like you two are kind of opposites in this way. you aren't letting yourself fully express your feelings especially to other people. this is probably something you learned in childhood to do as a way to protect yourself. you and your future husband will meet once you take the initiative and start working on your ability to express your feelings to others. shadow work can definitely help. if you have a group of close friends or a therapy group that's available I would definitely say to try there. it's difficult to pick out a certain time because it depends on you. your actions lead to them coming in, so if you choose to stall instead of working on it, it'll take longer. it's all up to you. it seems stressful but take your time. your future spouse isn't gonna ditch you because you didn't meet quickly. trust me, if it's really someone for you they'll be willing to wait. he wants you to know you don't have to hide around him and he's there to help you. never feel guilty about him treating you nice because you deserve to be treated with care. he wants you to know you're not alone and there are still people who care about you. your future partner really has a way with words. I'm getting a Mac DeMarco vibe, like my kind of woman especially (I'll link it.) they're a very emotionally open person. the type to say "I wish you could see you through my eyes." if you struggle with body insecurities they really want you to know they don't see any of them as negatives. they could be a twin flame/soulmate if you believe in them. they don't want anyone else if it's not gonna be their perfect person (you btw 🤭) and they're working on their own things in the meantime while they wait for you. i feel a bit teary with this so you might not be used to this at first but trust me you'll get used to it. it's a very emotional connection with them.
