Is the monster attacking Sans based on a chimera, manticore, or both? (Chimeras are part goat, part lion, and part snake; manticores are part man, part lion, and part scorpion) Or is the monsters's resemblance to those mythological creatures just a coincidence?
Monty is based on a Chimera! When he was alive his tail was a snake. I also enjoy calling him Monty Manticore despite knowing that he’s not one, so actually yeah there might be a bit of manticore inspiration in him too.
