American here. My orthodontist lied to me when I was a kid and told me I needed braces to avoid future pain. I was later told that no, it was purely for looks.

I never wore my retainer because it's so uncomfortable and painful. I like the gaps in my teeth anyway.

But yeah. Rage.

I hate the way yanks talk about people's teeth
