And what angers me EVEN MORE is when the comments are "this is what minecraft would look like if mojang put more effort into the game!" No this is what minecraft would look like if it was horrible to play, difficult and annoying to explore.

Transcript: as a kid i had a weird obsession with making sure i had a headcanon instrument for every character. from what i remember of these headcanons: Toriel sang, Chara was a violinist, Asriel was a guitarist (acoustic for when he was a kid, electric for hyperdeath), Asgore and undyne played piano, Sans played trumpet (no surprises) and i'm pretty sure i gave SOMEONE a saxophone but i don't remember who.
either way, i was weirdly protective of this headcanon and would absolutely seethe every time i saw art of sans with a violin (which is like, strangely kind of common????) and i'd be all grouchy and (to my self, i'd never say this to an artists face) be like "grrr violin is a CHARA instrument... u don't understand undertale like i do..."

what gets me about the Minecraft Movie trailer is that THEY COULD HAVE JUST RIPPED OF THE LEGO MOVIE WITH WAYYYY BETTER RESULTS.
Think about it:
11 year old boy wakes up in Minecraft. Sees the innate beauty of the world. Creates buildings. Is worshipped as a God by villagers. Protects said villagers from mobs. Lives in village. 11 year old boy ages up to 15 and 'beats the game'. With a frame narrative of it being on the computer and how his love of Minecraft translates to a love of the real world. Coming of age, soft environmentalism, community co-operation as themes. idk
