Absolutely lovely work by another composer unknown to me. More in the nature of an improvisation than a composed piece. I cannot understand the motive behind such complex rhythmic and melodic notation, nor the masochism of one who would prepare it for performance, but I am nonetheless grateful. And of course ever thanks to @atonalitydotnet for showing it to me in the scrolling-score excellence of which I am so fond.

Michael Finnissy: English Country Tunes - Midsummer Morn
This is Spencer Myer playing Carl Vine's piano sonata, 1st movement (he's written three; I'm not sure which one this is). I did not know this work at all before @pnoman alerted me to its existence. After first listen, I like it very much. Very pianistic (which is not entirely a positive thing, but all a matter of predilection), some wonderful writing. All in all a pleasure to tumble upon.
