Since the incel community is getting a lot of headlines rn, I just wanna make a quick reminder that anyone who tries to console and pity them by attaching isolation and loneliness is full of shit since the incel community is vehemently against including gay men, who are statistically more likely to commit suicide due to isolation.  They even make memes and valorise suicide. They’re not here to save men from themselves just like how meninists never gave a shit about police violence against black men. It’s rationalised white male entitlement and violent misogyny masquerading as community

I can’t even really get into it esp with civvies in general but sex workers are performing what should be understood to be an integral if not sacred function in society so I really would like anyone who opens their mouth about porn to know more about it than what free shit is on tubesites because that’s always the bottom of the mainstream barrrel. Next is the most popular stuff on paysites which will always be skewed towards the mainstream - aka cis men, usually white, most often who identify as straight (even though their porn history puts this into question).

If you look at porn created by sex workers who have more agency and ability to determine their audience and content (aka this is something that can be hard to do bc capitalism sucks and working in such a currently toxic industry presses you to compete with the mainstream) you will see creative, positive, and even spiritual content being made.

But I never ever hear y’all talk about that shit bc your entire view of porn is related to what you see on free porn blogs vs what you discuss about it as an abstract concept related to feminism. Your entire concept of porn is ‘porn according to the desires of the average cis dude’ which like, this is fair to critique but understand that the issue there isn’t the porn it’s the cis dudes.

‘Porn’ isn’t transphobic, racist, misogynistic and homophobic…cis men are and that’s what they beat off to.

Nuance is p cool bc it helps you identify the root of a problem more accurately bye.
