QUICKCOMBO: 3D | 134340 | LIKE

I built a combo I actually like that incorporates 3D! Mission accomplished! It is growing on me, at least in context of different songs...

My thoughts on this QC:

I needed to find songs that had the same musically chill but upbeat feel. I'm also a sucker for a sad ending so I'm loving starting with 3D progressing through a storyline with 134340 and Like. I personally prefer the alternate version of 3D so that's the listening link I've included.

Synopsis: Odd Mini Games to find the member with the 'greatest man' title: patience, sexy lips, strength & agility.

Production: The screen graphics have a lot more effort than we see later on. The games were well-explained and the guys knew what they needed to do.

Endearment: We're starting to see their individual colours peek through but they're still pretty new to this.

Winner: JK

Member Moments:

RM: Wait, wait, wait, WAIT! Kim Namjoon honestly claimed to have the thickest lips?? when there's not only Kim Soekjin but also PARK JIMIN in this game?!?! Boy have you lost your mind cuz I'll help you find it! 😉

JN: Jin starts off the cheating tally by deliberately spitting water at V. They tried to discourage retaliation but this absolutely set the precedence for the guys!

YG: Yoongi volunteered first for the torture game and actually placed third overall!

JH: Hobi wasn't the first one to dance in the audience during the musical chairs game??

JM: The only one that actually lost the patience game due to a laugh. Easily wins the best slow-mo moment when Hobi spit at him!

V: Wow, I think the less that's said about the sexy lips game, the better. Congrats on winning that Tae!

JK: The competitive nature is already here. JK does NOT lose!

Production: There's quite a lot of on-screen text that didn't get translated as well.

Endearment: This one is slightly better than pt1 but just because Suga didn't make it as weird as Jimin did... not by much but enough

RM: Actually makes wearing glasses upside down look good!

JN: Jin is definitely the best at improv. Perfectly timed chair kick.

YG: 'Hold my hand'...sticks two fingers through the grate.

Synopsis: Still at the outdoor park, about to do a bungee jump but they have a team-based game.

Production: Straightforward concept but it's unfortunate they did it so late in the day and lost the sunlight. I wonder if there were unforeseen delays or just not enough time allocated in the first place.

Endearment: So endeared! rooting for all of them!

RM: If you hesitate, you can't jump

JN: Eat Jin!

YG: My head is empty because I'm sleepy

JH: Definitely the one we were all waiting for. So proud of you Hobi!

JM: When I was at the peak of my fear, I saw our member's faces before me.

V: Butterfly! Butter ugh!

JK: It wasn't as thrilling as I thought

Synopsis: Mini-Games at a pool!

Production: The games were explained well but quality sound at a pool is always rough and they definitely hadn't figured it out yet. Respect for tackling it early though!

Endearment: The guys are starting to show their repor with the staff and figuring out how they can be rewarded for it.

Winner: JM

Loser: JN

Best Cheater: Staff (seriously! Handing out the punishment juice and then only making one of them drink it!)

Member Moments:

RM: The God of Destruction must have taken the day off. RM performed quite well!

JN: Poor Jin got dunked the worst when he was pushed in. Like a cute-downed worldwide handsome... and then he drowned himself after the crane game.

YG: Yoongi was almost going to be the best cheater but they didn't let him get away with his torn paper crane trick. Nice try though!

JH: Cutest dive in front of a no diving sign ever!

JM: JM pushing RM into the pool is one of my favorite moments. he's just so darn cute when he's mischievous!

V: V's bottle trick with the cola was so cool.

JK: Not much screen time for Kookie. He tried to copy V's cola trick but his was too bubbly.

Thank goodness for the auto-replay in Instagram. This deserves multiple watches!

Now, I am not educated in the least about dance but I can easily say that Jimin makes it so captivating to watch. Never heard this song before and it's not sounding like something I would like but I'm so enspelled by the dance.

Some of the recent challenges we've seen have really just seemed like a display if hand gestures put to a beat and not like actual dancing if you know what I mean? Still mostly entertaining, but for different reasons. Not the case here.
