Synopsis: The guys are at an outdoor park, divided into 2 teams for a paintball session.

Production: They did a great job setting the stage for the location and then I get lost. As someone who spent their teenage years surrounded by paintball enthusiasts, I absolutely do not understand their explanation of how they're running this. It's very dificult to tell who is who as well.

Endearment: There's just something about seeing the guys outside in the fresh air having fun. Maybe it's because I was raised in a rural area, but I totally vibe with the setting.

Winner/Loser: see final part

Best Cheater: Apparently, RM and Tae, but we only vaguely hear about it. I need the details of the shenanigans!

Member Moments:

RM: Loving the battle plan and strategizing, use those leadership skills for evil!

JN: I think we only see Jin once during the game getting a painful shot

YG: Absolute champ taking so many hits

JH: Possibly the least fierce assailant in paintball history!

JM: 'Do you need any treatment? It's for your safety!'

V: He had a ~sensitive~ hit but didn't want to let Jimin help him with it. Apparently there's somethings not even fit for the soulmate! 😉

JK: Highest quality CGI of JK as a cheetah! As is his due.

Synopsis: Mini Games at a sports field.

Production: Simplistic production for a simple concept. Something was definitely off about the sound though.

Endearment: The first time the guys try their harmonizing thing for Run. Adorable! Good showcase of their adaptability and general comeraderie.

Winner: BTS

Loser: Staff

Member Moments:

RM: He was so willing to help Hobi with the foot game, immediately takes his shoes off!

JN: When Jin switches to the foot task, someone says 'what a miraculous body'. Nuf said

YG: Rage throwing the Jegi at Tae and it ends on the other side of the fence!!

JH: No fancy footwork for hobi ;)

JM: Poor Jimin. He knew everyone's mistakes were going to lead to his lack of screentime and then he succeeds on his first attempt. MVP!

V: ...boy does not know how drink milk...

JK: Calcium! Calcium! (maybe he should have had less if he's going to kill us in ch.2!)

Production: The guys were left to hang on their own here. They could have used a little more direction.

Endearment: I think these are my absolute least favorite episodes. I'm endeared only because I feel sorry for them.

JH: Definitely the best actor of this episode! ...but those are some of the worst pushups I've ever seen!

Synopsis: Our first 'on-location' episode! Going on rides at a theme park. My googling says they're at Six Flags in Chicago

Production: Pretty good coverage for a public setting. We get some Manager Sejin footage as well!

Endearment: This is the definition of endearment! We really feel like we're just hanging out with them as friends. (but seriously, who eats junk food first at an amusement park?? maybe I'm just sensitive to potential vomit but definitely not what I prioritize steps away from the entrance.)

Winner/Loser: none

Best Cheater: none

Member Moments:

RM: Namjoon is always so philosophic with his fears. He's definitely one of the underrated cowards but he always does the thing that's frightening him.

JN: Is Jin eating that pretzel dry?? No cheese sauce?

YG: Is this the amusement park trip they mention later that Yoongi was hungover for? He actually looked to enjoy the rides we did see him on.

JH: oh Hobi, you were the lifeblood of this episode. I absolutely know how he felt at the end of some of those rides where you can't feel your body and you don't know who you are.

JM: JM's cry for his mother is so iconic. Boy already knows how to turn his emotions into entertainment.

V: Poor Tae didn't get much screentime. He has a cute yellow hat though!

JK: JK is such a great ride vlogger. I'd love to see present-day JK film more roller coaster ride-with-me's!

Synopsis: Odd Mini Games to find the member with the 'greatest man' title: patience, sexy lips, strength & agility.

Production: The screen graphics have a lot more effort than we see later on. The games were well-explained and the guys knew what they needed to do.

Endearment: We're starting to see their individual colours peek through but they're still pretty new to this.

Winner: JK

Loser: RM

Best Cheater: JN

Member Moments:

RM: Wait, wait, wait, WAIT! Kim Namjoon honestly claimed to have the thickest lips?? when there's not only Kim Soekjin but also PARK JIMIN in this game?!?! Boy have you lost your mind cuz I'll help you find it! 😉

JN: Jin starts off the cheating tally by deliberately spitting water at V. They tried to discourage retaliation but this absolutely set the precedence for the guys!

YG: Yoongi volunteered first for the torture game and actually placed third overall!

JH: Hobi wasn't the first one to dance in the audience during the musical chairs game??

JM: The only one that actually lost the patience game due to a laugh. Easily wins the best slow-mo moment when Hobi spit at him!

V: Wow, I think the less that's said about the sexy lips game, the better. Congrats on winning that Tae!

JK: The competitive nature is already here. JK does NOT lose!
