When someone you love offers a bid for connection, you say yes every time. When someone sends you an article, a video, a funny post, it’s a bid for connection. They are trying to connect with you. When someone shares details about their day, their life, their thoughts, or their feelings with you, that is a bid for connection. They want to connect with you on a deeper level. They are trying to pull you into their world. If you love them, you say yes every time. Yes, even if the article they send is not particularly interesting to you. 1. who is constantly the woman in disguise? EDWIN
2. “everybody loves you, baby” charles is constantly looking for approval and even when he dislikes monty at some point charles says AND i QUOTE “See, Edwin? Everyone likes me eventually.” why??? because everybody loves him
3. “you get the key to my heart and i mean it” edwin is literally in love with him so this lyric is pretty explanatory
4. overall the song is about desiring someone you can’t have because of societal expectations, so edwin wanting to be fem presenting so he could be with charles fits perfectly with the idea that charles is someone he can’t have because he’s a boy.
