hawks’ love language is: physical touch

sounds cliche and overused but hear me out,

this man is a complete sucker for physical affection

he’d try to get some every time he can 

you’re on the couch watching tv? he’ll cuddle you

taking a shower before leaving for work? he’s more than happy to join you

out on a date? doesn’t matter where or who’s there, he’ll hold your hand 

you complain about your back hurting? his feathers are already grabbing oils to give you a nice massage 

not to mention he loves kissing you 

it doesn’t even have to be your lips

it can be your cheeks, your knuckles, your forehead, your eyelids he’s so precious i love him, your chest: anywhere

he just likes kisses so please give them to him

but he’s not really clingy

of course you’re always welcome to cling onto him whenever you want, but he respects your alone time and knows it’s very important for oneself so if you’re studying or are busy doing anything else he won’t bother you

maybe ask you if you want food and leave a kiss on your temple but that’s about it

and the way he touches you it’s always so gentle

unless you’re uhhh in the bedroom then that’s a whole different headcannon 😳🤚🏼

like just by the way he caresses you, you know he’s head over heels for you

it can be something small and innocent,

but somehow he always manages to leave you craving for more of his touch

his favorite form of affection is probably hugs

he likes the way you fit perfectly into his arms, as if you were made for him

and his hugs are NEVER awkward 

they’re always filled with smiles and giggles and maybe some tickles bc keigo loves to hearyou laugh 

specially if it’s because of him,

it makes him feel validated

it’s late when keigo finally finishes his nightly patrol. the watch on his wrist marks 12:28PM and he hates himself for not making it on time. he had promised to start that new series you’ve been so excited about tonight, yet work held him back and, as much as he wanted, he couldn’t just fly away from a crime scene.

he silently opens the door to your shared bedroom, expecting to see you passed out on the bed, but instead he’s greeted with the sight of you cuddled up on his side of the bed while scrolling through your phone. the necklace he gave you with one of his feathers hanged loosely around your neck and he smiled when you started to softly caress it. his own wings fluttered instinctively at the touch, almost making him laugh at the sensation, before he plopped down next to you. 

the sudden weight on the bed makes you squeal, but you calm down once you feel keigo’s arms around your waist, pulling you to him. you breathe in his scent, closing your eyes briefly to appreciate the familiar smell, and you feel him place multiple kisses on your neck, making you giggle. 

“what were you doing awake? it’s late.” he says matter of factly and you turn around in his hold, one of your hands coming up to rest on his toned chest.

“i was waiting for you.” his eyes immediately soften at your response, the guilt basically eating him alive. 

“you didn’t have to do that, dove.” his tone is slightly reprimanding, yet his hold is loving as his fingers trace random patterns on your arms. 

“i sleep better with you anyways.” your voice sounds tired, your eyes fighting to keep themselves open as the exhaustion from the day finally begins to hit you.

keigo is quick to notice the way your breathing starts to become slower and slower and he can’t help but admire your beauty. you just look so cute all pressed up against him, cheeks squished against the pillow and a light frown on your face as you struggle to keep yourself awake. he hums before moving to get more comfortable; he moves your body slightly so you’re in a better position and his heart skips a beat when you tangle your legs in between his, grumbling something he couldn’t understand while hiding your face on his neck. 

“m’sorry, i wanted to spend more time with you but i’m just so tired.” he almost coos at you when the words leave your mouth. he should be the one apologizing for not being a good boyfriend yet here you are, being so selfless and caring. 

“no no, it’s okay baby. you have me all to yourself tomorrow.” you hum after hearing that, liking the thought of not having to share your boyfriend with the rest of the world for just one day. because when it came to him, you had to admit you could be a little selfish at times, but just a little.

“hm good,” you open your eyes to press a chaste kiss on his lips. “good night, i love you.”

“i love you too, dove.” 

in less than five minutes you’re fast asleep on keigo’s arms and it doesn’t take too long before the blonde joins you. he falls asleep with a smile on his face, thinking about how lucky he is for being able to call you his.

don’t wanna be annoying or anything but, i’m currently bored and in a great need of a distraction (i don’t have motivation to write lol) soooo maybe uhh talk with me? or ask me questions?

do i even need to explain this?

we all know this baby is very insecure even tho he has absolutely no reason to be:( and he doubts himself way too much 

so it’s not much a surprise that he loves compliments

especially when he doesn’t even have to ask for them

like when you’re at the gym working out together (he insisted you made him some company bc bakugou had refused to) and you can’t stop looking at him because GOD DAYUM👴🏾

“why are you looking at me like that, babe?” he asks after he puts down the weights he was just lifting 

you swallow hard, realizing just how shamelessly you were checking out your boyfriend 

“hm you’re handsome” you’re so straightforward and it takes kirishima aback, making him stop in his tracks to look at you with a faint blush on his cheeks

“you hate when i’m sweaty tho”

you shrug while walking over to him, “yeah because you smell but i never said you didn’t look good” 

let’s just say you ended up leaving the gym way earlier than expected 🏃‍♀️

kirishima also loves when you call him manly

it makes him feel all warm inside

probably one of the best compliments you can give him, if not the best one

but he doesn’t only like compliments

he also likes when you show him you care about him

like when you remember something he said a long time ago or you ask him about his day

“hey kiri, isn’t there going to be a new festival in town tomorrow? the one you wanted to go to?”

“yeah, how’d you know?”

“you told me about it a few months ago”

it’s something so small and meaningless, yet it makes kirishima’s heart melt

“you remember that?”

you look up at him from your phone, your brows furrowing at his question

“of course i do”

please you just have to do the bare minimum and you have the boy wrapped around your finger

it’s so cute because he always says ‘i love you’ whenever he has to leave you or even just to hang up the phone

he just wants you to know that he loves and appreciates you with every fiber in his body and that no one could ever change that

so that’s why he’s constantly showering you in his love

for example, whenever you feel insecure about your body and you voice out your concerns to him, he’s quick to look you dead in the eye and point out every little thing about you that he loves,

even the ones you hate so much

“baby, you’re absolutely mesmerizing and i’m not letting you think otherwise. i love every part of you and if you need me to remind you every day until you love yourself too then so be it”

he’s so romantic too oh my God don’t even get me started

whenever he has the chance, he writes you little notes and leaves them in your locker 

once, you opened it to take out your science book and a sticky note fell out

a smile takes over your face as you keep reading your boyfriend’s sweet words a few more times

he likes giving more than receiving so expect LOTS of reassurance and random compliments 

the room is quiet as you lay down in your bed while reading a book, the only sound filling the room being the faint music coming out of your phone and the laughter of your roomates from next door. you indulge yourself in the novel on your hands, concentrating on the vivid descriptions so you can maybe picture exactly what the writer was trying to convey, but a knock on your door interrupts your train of thought. 

you ignore it, thinking it must be one of your friends doing some stupid prank again (aka denki and mina), but the person knocks a few more times, enough to annoy you, and so you end up standing up to open it. however, the frown on your face quickly goes away as soon as you see who’s the person who kept on insistently knocking. kirishima stands in front of you with a big smile on his face and you can’t help but copy his actions; just seeing him was enough to make your whole day perfect.

“hey, babe!” his tone is cheerful, as always, and he leans down to give you a kiss, one that ends up way too fast for your liking.

“hey, kiri. what are you doing here? weren’t you gonna hang out with bakugou and sero?” you close the door behind you once he enters. he sits down on your bed as if it was his own, stretching his arms out in the process and you lick your lips when his shirt rides up a bit, showing off his v-line and the outline of his abs. kirishima smirks when he notices your gaze, but doesn’t say anything about it.

“yeah, but sero is feeling sick and bakugou didn’t feel like going out so.” he shrugs, and you pout at him, feeling bad his friends basically ditched him.

“i’m sorry baby, i know how much you were looking forward to today.” you walk towards him and take a seat on his lap, your legs loosely wrapping themselves around his waist and his hands holding your hips steadily. he smiles at you one more time, completely ignoring the feeling of his heart hammering against his chest.

“it’s okay. besides, that just means i get to spend more time with you.” he says before kissing your neck softly, making you erupt in a fit of giggles as his lips tickled your sensitive skin. you wrap your hands around his neck and tilt your head to the side to give him more acces, biting down on your lower lip when he sucks on a certain spot. but before things can get too heated, kirishima pulls away and you whine at the loss of contact, which makes him chuckle. 

for a few minutes neither of you say anything, simply enjoying each other. you rest your head on one of his shoulders while your hands play with his own, touching his fingers gently and kissing his knuckles from time to time. he smiles down at you, asking himself what the hell did he ever do to deserve someone as precious as you. 

you’re so good to him; always making sure he’s eating well and that he isn’t overworking himself, helping him with homework whenever he doesn’t understand something, taking care of him when he gets sick, hyping him up when he starts a new hobby, and so much more. you do so much for him and sometimes he wonders if he’s doing enough for you, because he doesn’t ever want you to doubt his love for you.

with that though in mind he takes your face in his hands, forcing you to look at him while squeezing your cheeks slightly. you send him a questioning look, wondering what the hell is he doing, but he just kisses your forehead before speaking up.

“you’re so gorgeous.” the compliment takes you by surprise and your eyes widen slightly.

“where is this coming from?”

“well you are. and i love you so much.” you know kirishima likes to compliment you and let you know how he feels about you, but this time feels different.

“babe what are you-”

“thank you for taking care of me and loving me, for making my days better and for believing in me,” his thumb caresses your cheek and you instantly lean in to his touch, your eyes focused on his. “you mean everything to me and i genuinely don’t know what i’d do without you. so i promise to never leave your side, to love you until my last breath and possibly even after that.” your breath hitches in your throat when you notice how serious he is, not missing the passion that drips from his words. 

you can feel tears forming in your eyes so you distract yourself by kissing kirishima roughly, pulling at the ends of his red hair and bringing your body impossibly close to his. he groans against your mouth when you press down on his lap, pulling away to give you a few more kisses before flipping you over so you’re laying under him. a smirk grazes your lips at the change of positions and before he can continue with whatever it is he wants to do, you kiss his cheek gently. kirishima blushes and looks away from you, but you just smile.

“i love you, eijirou.” the way his heart flutters when he hears his first name leaving your lips it’s actually embarrassing and he wastes no time before connecting your lips again and pouring all of his emotions into it. 

if there was one thing both of you were 100% certain about was your love for each other, because you knew that no matter what happened, whether you broke up in the future or not, you would always consider him your soulmate.

listen, i feel like bakugou would act like he doesn’t care at all

but he’s definitely blushing and can’t look at you straight in the eye 

he just wanted to let you know that since kaminari and mina forced him to help them study, you could come too 

so he made his way to your dorm room while looking at his phone

and he doesn’t even knock so you’re quite startled

although you don’t blame him because he’s always hanging out in your room and vice versa

“hey we’re gonna have a study session later tonight, in case you wanna come” his eyes are glued to his phone as he talks, but you still feel embarrassed that he’s in the same room as you while you’re changing 

after a few seconds go by with no response from you, he finally looks up from the device

“i’m talking to you-” the breath gets knocked out of him when he sees you’re in the middle of trying on different outfits 

and apparently you were about to try a new one because you’re just in your freaking underwear 

bakugou may be a lot of things, but he is not a pervert 

so he’s quick to turn around to face the door, his eyes tightly shut even tho he can’t see anything as it is since you’re behind him

“you dumbass, don’t you know how to lock a fucking door?! is not that hard for fuck’s sake” 

you almost want to laugh at the blonde’s state

you’ve never seen him like this before so you might as well tease him about it

“didn’t your parents teach you it’s impolite to enter a room without knocking first?”

oh he can hear the smirk on your face and he wants nothing more than to go up to you and wipe it off himself 

but he knows you’re still in your underwear 

and while it’s true he’s a gentleman, he’s also a man

seeing his crush in her underwear will most definitely get a reaction out of him

he curls his hands into fists by his side, jaw clenching because he knows you’re probably enjoying this

“just shut up and get dressed”

“okay i’m dressed”

a sigh of relief escapes his lips as he turns around, but it doesn’t take long before his eyes are wide open as he takes in your figure

it ends just above your mid thigh and it falls around your figure loosely, obviously too big for you

bakugou can feel butterflies in his stomach at the sight

“what was that you were saying when you walked in?”

you’re so calm and collected, walking around with only his shirt on 

normally he hates when people wear his clothes, but it looks so good on you he can’t even bring himself to be annoyed

“we’re having a study session tonight,” his voice is low and he fixes his gaze on the wall behind you. “and you can come too, if you want to that is”

“wait that’s a great idea, i’ve been falling behind on english recently”

he nods and you frown at his actions 

sure bakugou can be quiet, when he’s not mad, but he looks  rather…shy?

you smirk once again, knowing what this is all about

“don’t tell me the bakugou katsuki has never seen a girl naked before?”

“the fuck are you talking about?”

“well is either that or you like me because why else would you be so red right now?”

he groans when you say that

anyways he uhhh got tired of you not getting all the hints he’s been dropping and just straight up corners you against the wall

your heart is about to burst out of your chest at the close proximity and the feeling only intensifies when he smirks

he leans down, lips merely inches away from your own

“seeing as you’re not pushing me away right now, i say you like me too, dumbass”

well he’s not wrong soooo
