Ok I have read the Changeling/Armistice a few times now (they're stunning, thank you so much for creating them and I cannot wait for more!). When I'm describing them to other people, I have trouble coming up with a concise way to describe your Slytherin. What is your elevator pitch for what you think Slytherin House is like in this universe?

Slytherin are cautious, strategic, status conscious, adaptive, and, once they decide something is important, willing to absolutely anything to achieve their ends. Each of these can be a positive or negative depending on how they are wielded.

I can pretty much go for any ship given the right circumstances. Anakin is just unreasonable about love in general, and I could see rexwalker being pretty fun, either as a poly ship, or developing after Padme turns him down. I am 90% sure Anakin loves Padme because she is literally is the first person he ever saw who wasn’t covered in sand, and came up with actual reasons to love her after that. If we assume an au where Padme is not on the same bullshit then she would probably rebuff him a lot more firmly, leading to some awkward crying and eventually friendship. I could see, a year or so into the war, Anakin finally accepting that his love isn’t returned and getting over Padme. 

He lasts about 10 seconds not being In Love with someone. 

Then Rex walks in the room, like, eating a sandwich, or something else completely neutral. He already likes Rex as a commander and friend. And now Rex get hit full blast with unbridled Unreasonable Skywalker LoveTM

—arguably simply due to proximity and timing, because Anakin Skywalker is just Like That about Love. But Anakin already knows Rex, so it’s even more insane.

Rex: eating sandwich  Anakin: staring intensely  Rex: *chewing*  Anakin:  Rex, uncertain: “What?”  Anakin, dazed: “What?”  Rex, uncomfortable: “You’re staring at me.”  Anakin, still dazed: “I am?”  Rex, starting to get annoyed: “Yes. Is there something you need, sir?” Anakin, blushing suddenly: “Huh?!”  Rex, now a little concerned: “Sir?”  Anakin, blushing more: “Oh fOrCe.”  Rex: “General? Are you alright?” *reaches hand out*  Anakin: “YesI’mfineIjusthavetogorightnow.” *flees*  Rex:  Rex: “what the fuck”
