I recently saw someone reupload some art that was watermarked saying "do not repost", and their defense was that they didn't see the watermark and that the watermark should have been bigger. However, I was raised in a corner of the internet where it was assumed that you WEREN'T allowed to reupload art, regardless of whether the artist went out of their way to watermark it, so I'm wondering what etiquette people were taught.
