Sooo, what if irkens could tan? Or even get a sunburn? Of course, both would take a long ass time, superior irken skin and all. Though, if an irken does get a sunburn, the process will be similiar to a human having one. The pak might heal little areas, but if the burn is covering quite a large portion of the body, the skin will peel right off. Revealing the new one underneath. With a human, the healing process might take a few days, while an irken just needs from half an hour to half a day (depending on the severity)

I imagine how the damaged skin just randomly pops off without a warning
