bros in the pokémon universe!! i love pokémon so much and i don’t know why i haven’t shared this before. i have a team for the whole mario cast. this isn’t really an au, but djdbeksdhebsl!! just a little drabble.

i imagined while mama mario was pregnant, there was a little plusle and a shiny minun that kept following papa mario home from work. the family took them in once the babies were born and that’s how they got their respective colors! this is so cringe i’m sorry!!

I personally hc his eyes as having an iridescent sheen to them like car oil does

So like blue at one angle, yellow at another, red as a base, etc…

They truly are the parents of 1-A, whether platonically or romantically is up for grabs but I love that for them

I’d say Aizawa is the ever-present grandfather but I guess if we got technical Tenya and Momo would be the oldest siblings and Aizawa would be the de facto parental figure

I personally love the idea of iida doing gymnastics and incorporating that into his fighting style as he gets older. (Kinda like mina or tsu but not quite)

He’s already been said to be flexible and looks to have a good upper body strength and/or core, so the added mobility can really help him in the long run

Some more characters that I drew a while ago (a couple months I think) and just thought I'd add while I was here

For those not very well versed in the mario fandom: Stain as Bowser/King Koopa Nemuri as Princess Peach Mei Hatsume as Princess Daisy Reiko Yanagi as Princess Rosalina Mandalay as Mayor Pauline Shoto as King Boo (Luigi's Mansion Boo specifically, I made his siblings all the other King Boo versions) Hizashi as Wario and Hanta as Waluigi (Y'know because I and H, this font doesn't do it justice but believe me okay) Shinsou as Antasma (From Mario and Luigi Dream Team) Yuga as Dimentio (From Super Paper Mario, my very first mario game) And finally, Neito Monoma as Prince Peasly

I feel like Tensei and Nemuri are on-and-off dating, he and Mandalay are exes but she still has a thing for him, and Mei has a crush on Tenya but he doesn't reciprocate, and that's about all I want to go into with ships without making it weird

How I imagine the powers to work. I wanna do something separate for the power-ups and any individual quirks with those. (Not mha quirks tho, unfortunately)

Additional note: Weather and environment affects how they charge, so Tensei would flare up during a heatwave and Tenya would overload the breaker in a thunderstorm

An AU idea I've had for a long time since these have always been my favorite sets of brothers, staring Tensei as Mario and Tenya as Luigi. I want to do another drawing of how firebrand and thunderhand work in this AU so won't elaborate too much (YET)

Just in case you can't read it (because I chose to use my handwriting) I'm also putting what I wrote here

Tensei: - The older twin by about an hour and 5 minutes (get it 15 haha) They're both 26 year-olds from Brooklyn, but grew up in Italy to Italian-Japanese parents - Loves (LOVES) painting (Yes that is a shine sprite on his hip) - He prefers to fight with firebrand or powerups in close range. He's very good with fireballs and just doesn't have that kind of fear (And they may or may not sizzle out at a distance)

Tenya: - The younger of identical twins (He likes to shave off a little of his eyebrows to keep the two from getting confused) - Always covered in dust despite being allergic - He prefers to use weapons, or at least fight at a distance. This is because his thunderhand is very unruly and unreliable

My girl Yurei, my laptop’s pretty shitty and so the colors are a lot warmer than I thought but still pretty proud of her

I like to think she’d have some sort of “Queen of the Ring” title (Hence the jewel) but she’s really a top wrestler in a popular underground wrestling ring
